He stops just inside the Grayson Grounds and looks around at the number of people who have gathered, running one hand up and through his dark hair. A moment after that, he takes the plunge, one hand resting with casual ease on the pommel of his sheathed sword as he starts to move through all the people.

The man steps through the crowd of gathering peoples to place a gentle hand on his wife's shoulder and to give her a soft kiss on the cheek as he whispers to her. His eyes scan the crowd in his piercing way as he does so.

He seems reserved, perhaps trying to be a good audience member or perhaps still adjusting to the eyepatch that covers his left eye. The awards ceremony is just starting. A spread of warm teas has been set-up on the tea cart. A selection of food is is arranged upon the buffet. There is a also wine and lots of booze. Reese arrives while adorned in her normal pink and toting her many weapons. She glances over the grounds, having a smile of greeting for the many gathered here. "Welcome and thanks for coming." She says, lifting her voice to carry. "I encourage everyone to have a good time and talk amoungst yourselves. There is a lot to get to, but I will do my best." She murmurs, her cheeks are warmed with pink and she seems to be even a little shy.

I thought maybe you'd been stranded on a deserted island and had to eat an actor and was hoping it wasn't the red headed one for she's quite talented, but I'm so glad to see you!"

"We actually did run aground on an island we didn't really mean to, but it was on a shipping lane and so were only stuck for a few hours. Unfortunately that was enough time for everyone to agree to eat an actor. Things get weird on deserted islands pretty fast." Niklas returns the hug, smiling at the princess. "I sent my latest manuscript ahead of me. Have you had a chance to read it?"

Lou makes her way into the Grayson Grounds, looking a bit excited and pleased with herself. Mostly, excited. It could be about the awards ceremony, or -- something altogether differently. Or both! It's hard to tell from the way she looks. She waves her hand over in Reese's direction, but otherwise doesn't bother her as she runs the show. Instead, she goes over and shoulder bumps Sabella.

Jaenelle's attention at the back of the event focuses on Reese as she begins to speak, though she does peek over to one of her guards for a moment, "please keep track of when we must leave." She is popular.

"I did! And it's wonderful. If I had more than one copy I would've offered it up to--" Well, that will remain a mystery because then Lou is there and Sabella grins at her, "Lou! You should be sitting. Sit, I'll get you whatever you need for the night."

Sparte is looking a bit nervous where he sits. Not exactly like he has done anything wrong, just sort of flitting his eyes between other people having conversations. Gradually slouching in an attempt for his own lack of a conversation to be less noteworthy.

Harlan doesn't head for anywhere in particular to sit, mostly just ... meandering and moving somewhere out of the way to stand. At least, for now.

I mean I speak from a place without that kind of authority, but I am still super gratetful and thankful to everyone who helped to defeat the dark sea, which includes so many of you all here." She says, lifting her voice to carry. "I don't know what everyone has done and I probably won't ever know, but I tried my best. This ceremony was supposed to for the Graysons and I know what the Graysons did the did the best of all. So I might focus o them more and I apologize for that in advance, because the world is not actually Grayson centric."

"Fancy meeting you here, Ian. Don't look so somber. It's an awards thing.", and his dark gaze drifts to the rest of the people there as well, greetings no doubt right there on his lips.

She eyes the Legate pointedly, clearly considering his 'volunteer' potential. It's terribly obvious.

Dame Esoka and Marquis Malesh came close to perishing and Countess Mia who came to heal was gravely hurt as well. I am glad they were okay. Thanks to Lady Eirlys and Sir Jeffeth." She says. "If you are in the Crovane group come up adn I will give your present. Everyone can take a book of such from the bookcase."

As the assistants lug out a large painting and a bangle, she all but drops under the weight of the painting. "You can -- you can take this." And she murmurs to Violet whom it's for, before she takes a bangle Reese gives her, searching through the crowd. "I... um... Mia Riven?"

I am ever-honored to fight by the side of so many stalwart men and women." A quick smile is flashed to Mia, when the Countess is spotted.

"Its a pity, don't you think... So many willing to go and fight and die on behalf of others, which is right and proper... But SO FEW willing to save an old woman from killing herself with a burden." Being more or less direct in her venom-green gaze, she continues to stare, right at Luca. Eyes. Luca. EYES. Who knows what he's ever done to deserve being picked on so? "Well done, that's the spirit. May you be blessed" she says of Wylla's willing vic... volunteer. And she settles down, her club-like stick firmly across her lap, as though it were a pretty lace parasol.

"Yes?," the dark-haired Countess calls out in reply to Wylla from, well, the rear of the crowd. She'd only just arrived, after all, and honestly, Mia appears to still be figuring out what's going on while shooing off a page that her lady-in-waiting was trying to hand her.

Violet looks extremely confused for a second and then blinks. "Give it to her?" She asks to clarify as she looks from the painting and bank. She shifts it in her grip and turns to look where Wylla had indicated. Mia. The other woman is given a lopsided, and vaguely harried, smile. "I guess this is yours?" There is a musement in her voice.

And then she turns to Violet, shaking her head. "No, that's not for her!" A little giggle, embarrassed, and she turns crimson. "That's for Lord Michael Bisland."

Oh no, Delilah's been spotted! She sinks in her seat some, but only after waving out to both Silas and Kenna... And then there's a missive that's quietly slipped into her hands by way of her dutiful assistant, to which she responds with a small sigh. This all leads to her sharing a quiet goodbye with those around her and making her escape.

Violet opens her mouth and closes it again as Wylla corrects her. So she pulls it back from Mia, the painting, and says, "Right. And who is that?" The blond archer glances over at where her brother and the rest are with a helpless and amused look. Her eyes try to spot any notable Bisland's in the crowd.

"Oh! I, ahh...," Mia replies, oh-so-eloquently. "Thank you. Everyone. That's very generous and entirely unncessary." Of course, there did seem to be a fair bit of confusion about who was supposed to be receiving what that involved a good bit of shuffling gifts back and forth and back again. How in the world had she ended up with a painting?!

Harlan wanders around for a bit more, gathering a drink, before taking a seat finally near the campfire.

Wylla smiles softly at Mia. "There are a lot of gifts." And she's got more in her hands besides, a bottle of honey mead and a set of silver earings. "I'm looking for, um, a Rickard Corsetina, and a Dame Esoka Greenblood!"

Luca departs from the small picnic table where he'd been talking with several other people, and with a bottle in his hand, he casts his gaze around, as if searching for someone. It's hard to tell whether or not he finds them, wading into the mass of mingling people once more like an intrepid explorer.

Esoka lets out a low chuckle to something-or-other Preston says as she departs their bench for a moment. Then, she approaches Wylla. Raising an arm to wave to the woman, to make it clear /she/ is the Esoka Greenblood they're looking for.

Violet moves her way with the large painting towards Michael. "Aha, well, here!" She says with amusement and cheer. Then she finally gets to take a look at it once it is passed off. "Oh...Oh wow," She says as she takes a step back. "That's quite something. Oh, and well met. Violet Marjawn." And she gives a little bow to Michael.

Lord Kaldur Seliki arrives, out of breath and skidding to a halt. He smoothes... the plates of his armor skirt and clears his throat. Been here all along. Totally. He searches the throng for a familiar face. AH! There's one: Lady Kenna - the young Seliki Lord makes a beeline for her.

"While the Graysons came to Crovane, this battle was by many including Redrain under the command of Princess Marian. She is amazing and ran the battle over all. Prince Mydas also helped to help to command this battle. The oathllannds came under the command of High Lord Edain. The faith came. Sir Preston lead the templars and Dame Thena lead Solace. The Crismon Blades under the command of Violet and Tobas were also there." Rees says living her voice to carry. I have a book about such as well. Everyone can have one. She begins to weave her way through the group to find a table with a few familiar faces and offering a smile towards Cadenza and Ignacio, she lift her hand in greeting before she slips closer and takes up a place amongst them.

Rickard offers a respectful, polite bow, and accepts the mead. "I am honored.. and pleased to be of service. I hope to continue in this for a long time to come." He then moves to return to his seat.

As I promised you what seems like long ago." He gives Esoka a small wink as he passes her as he goes and she comes. Or vice a versa. "And we will keep a place for your fallen knights at the memorial at Sanctum."

Violet bobs her head with a smile and says, "Happy to help." As she takes the choker she turns it over in her hands with obvious pleasure. Holding it up so Tobias can see as he steps up next to her.

Reese returns Echo's hug, wrapping her slender arms about the blonde and drawing her close in return. Reese then peeks over to Preston. "Sir Preston, who lead our Templars and we would be totally overrun the dark sea without the faith. Sir Preston I got you this heart of faith ring, made by Mistress Josephine."

Wylla's got another choker in her hands, and a tiny ring in a ring box. She smiles with relief at Violet, before Tobias' approach brings a nod. "Hello!" And then she's calling out again. "Duke and Duchess Asger and Ann Crovane!"

Taking the dagger handed to her, she turns the steel weapon about and looks up at the Archlector and then to Reese. "My thank you, this is lovely," she says with all due sincerity. She smooths a finger along its edge before she offers a bow to those at front and will take a step back so that she can make room for the others approaching. She slips back to her table with the others and sets the dagger down for them to see.

Breathing heavy he quickly looks around the place and then finding a familiar face, he starts to move in that direction.
