A busy day. It's probably a good thing that everything is picking up like this.
A morning drink with my good new friend Lord Pharamond followed by some sparring with Sir Jordan Ober, who had some very interesting advice on the best way a writer could handle his quill.
An early afternoon visit by Mae Culler was an absolute delight. We discussed queens, bears and the unintended side effects of child rearing. She had several suggestions for my most recent work and her enthusiasm was rather infectious.
Evening brought a cruise of the bay with excellent company, followed by an wonderful dinner with family and friends.
I do not mind staying this sort of busy if I do say so myself!

It is not yet easy to write this Scholar, so I ask for patience of all those who might read it.
I have petitioned for and been granted the dissolution of my marriage to Marquis Ford Kennex, and through the benevolence of my cousin and Duchess have returned to Pravus to serve my family, Setarco, and the Lyceum.
To write any more on the matter here would be disrespectful to the families involved, and therefore I will not.
The Isles remain in my heart and always shall.

It should be noted for future readers that although Blessed Aleksei's dog is a delightful animal, and I do not get to pet him as he deserves nearly often enough, he would not be an acceptable Archlector of the Faith, nor would I wish to trade Aleksei for him or any other adorable animals.
However, if the Archlector would like to ensure that this continues to be true, then he could always bring Peanut by for a petting session one of these days.

It feels truly good to be in the open with everything. Certain things in life that involve fate, I believe this was one of them. Our paths converged to lead us to our future and I am proud I can do it with such a great companion. With you my dearest, I feel like anything is possible.

The Dust Settles (Week 8)
I sit at my desk writing this and I realize how fortunate I have been to only suffer the injuries I have. There are far more that suffered far worse in the events in the recent war. Compact forces have taken a large blow to its strength in all this and many families lost loved ones. It is important to remember that those that died for us are heroes whom sacrificed it all for the rest of the Compact.
It is important to remember that as we move forward in life, the blessings we have could not be possible without them.
