146,000 silver in debts completely wiped clean, with no one shorted, not even the financiers.
To say this is a relief is an understatement. It's my hope this will relieve the commoners of the anxiety that plagues those who owe money along with the need to keep trade flowing and the black-markets and mark-ups to a minimum. Less tensions in the city will only help all of us.

Ribbons' Vows to Prince Nimble
I, Princess Reese Grayson of all things pink and ribboned, do take Prince Luca, the super extra nimble, to be my husband for as long as we both shall live.
I vow to protect my prince to best of my ability whenever he finds himself in danger, even if that danger is from himself, because sometimes (hopefully not often) it will be. I also promise to let him protect me, even though I sometimes get full of myself and would rather do the protecting.
I promise to never cage Luca or try to own him, but instead to try to support him and be at his side when he wishes me there.
I will do my best to encourage my Prince Nimble not to drink too much, wallow in despair or do stupid things, encourage rather than demand.
I vow not to let Luca's presence, become a distraction that will keep me from aiding compact, my family or innocents who cannot defend themselves. Instead, I will let my love for his Luca-ness inspire me to better serve, and to better try to work as a team.

I feel like I'm just starting to get to know Cassius. He seems like a good man, a serious man. He has a bit of a temper, but then again so does Belladonna which makes their pair an interesting one. They seem to balance each other, somehow. The man is now serving at one of my Voices, I'm curious to see what he accomplishes.

The wedding was a success, as far as getting through it in the middle of a siege. It was a somber event, but it was good to have family and friends present for it. The charity event we hosted in lieu of a reception was an interesting affair, considering the attempt on my life. Not that the Bringers haven't tried to kill be before now, but this was a more direct attempt. It made it even more personal than it already was.
Nobody was seriously injured or died, and supplies were taken by those in need. In this day and age, I'll call that a success. And to Brand and the Bringers I will say... No one may harm us unpunished.

Alaries loft is cozy and small though she told me she got a new piece of property. Perhaps it'll be a good place to raise children when that time comes. I will only be granted land after my time as First Knight has come to an end.
