Relationship Note on Eirene

But who do you love the MOST is the question. Who have you loved the MOST?

Answer: Me, duh.

I'm still alive. I got a papercut yesterday, which you did cause in a way, because it was from that set of messages back and forth regarding the thing you won't tell me, and how you are a horrible sister and the worst and you always used to break your toys and tell Mother it was my fault.

Still, you love me best of all, and I am told my papercut will mend in a few weeks if I am very careful and do not do any sort of work. To speed my recovery.

Yet I am not dead. Chin up big sis!

"The Uncomfortable Affliction" does have a certain ring to it. I'll consider that name suggestion.

Lastly:

The Filthy Sailor
The Impolite Cutlass
The Loyalty of the North
The Percephon's No Privateer
The Elusive
The Blasted Troll

I will also be accepting suggestions for names to call this new vessel of mine. If I should choose a name that someone else inspires, I think that I will gift that lucky individual with a painting.

Yay, Ryhalt is back! and Clover! And baby Ivy, but while she's cute, she isn't who I missed while they were back home. It is very nice to have more of my family here. Now it's only Elsbetta missing. I wonder if we can coax her to come - it will be lonely back home without all of us there. Maybe she'll come to Arx as well.

I heard a muttering or two of something that I won. I won. I won't say what, naturally, because rumors are only as useful to me as a roll of used parchment. However, on my way to the Archives in order to pen this rather unexpected surprise, I considered a few names:

The Humongous Homage
The Impulsive Decision
The Snowball's Chance
The Uncle Arn, Boat Edition
The Best Present Ever
The Spring's Promise

Big as a barrel, slippers don't fit. lower ribs feel like Orathy decided to bruise or break a few of them, the front of floor length skirts are half way to knees, stomach is so crowded there is no room but for a few bites at a time and some smiles are just hidden, stoic grimaces at the back and leg pains. Sleep is an hour at a time between getting up to use the necessary. All this and more is in your future, dear Auntie. But one thing to be said for it, you have a built in distraction for the next three months to help mitigate grief. Every time you start to brood and memories flood back there will be something there to distract you, something there to remind you that you are not alone, something there depending on you, needing you, something to love that will love you back without reservation if you let it. Stay strong Auntie, we care about you.

"I've just received my new armor from Dame Alexis! It really is very shiny and bright. I had wanted to get a butterfly flying beneath the arch of a rainbow etched into it but I didn't have any armor so there was no time to waste. Instead I have the hearth maker's mark, and that is alright too! Alexis deserves to be recognised for her lovely work.

Today is such a lovely and sunny day. The light gleams wonderfully off of the steel and everything is still polished and new. The birds are avoiding me to day, probably because I am wearing a giant mirror. I am invincible to swords AND bird droppings now. Now all I need is for there to be a rainbow on a sunny day and all my hopes will have been answered..."

The rambling about how lovely the day is goes on for at least half a page. She discusses ponies, a litter of puppies, a visit to the orphanage, and how happy she is that the bee which stung her earlier was looking out for his family.

Gentle Readers,

Things are coming along quite nicely for Margret and Alessandro's wedding. To help them and because honestly it needed to be done, I took on a project to rehabilitate our gardens, which were, simply put, wild before. I am pleased with how it has come together. Just yesterday, the final touch was delivered, a lovely statue crafted by Master Black to honor Alessandro as a part of our family. Seeing both his and Margret's reactions has made the entire project so worthwhile.

And on that note, I cannot recommend Master Jayeth Black highly enough. He is truly a skilled artist and wonderful smith too. Though our family alone has kept him quite preoccupied on making statues! If you wish someone who can provide wonderful, quality work and vision, he should certainly be at the top of your list.

I do hope that all of our friends and family enjoy the gardens. I will have to start planning my next project soon, but I do believe a small break is in order first.

Farewell for now!

M. Simone Greenmarch
