Today, I spent most of my time sending out letters about that situation I had after the job that left me with this beautiful scar near my face. I guess that job afterwards left me with other scars too. Anyways, I sent off a variety of messages today to find answers to my questions. I really do not like asking favors from nobles. They might turn into future clients, or some other problem might arise from being in their debt. The great thing is that I went fishing, and a couple of my inquiries was actually known. I am not sure if I am relieved, worried, or confused even more by that knowledge. I am going to head to The Spirits, and see if a couple of drinks will help me decide.

Well, when Grayson princes deliver they sure fucking deliver. I have a stunning new couch, I can't even describe how amazing it is.
I look forward the first time I break it in.

It seems my baby brother's betrothal has been forgotten and he is a man of questionable decisions once again. When he was bewitched with a single woman, I did not have to worry about him as often as I did... and now must do again. I suppose I will need to hire Valerius a minder after all to make sure he does not get into fights over nothing or find himself making ridiculous grand gestures just to impress someone he need not impress.

How I could soar with them, free with the wind wild against my face, twisting and turning, diving and rolling.
I can only pretend to fly with my arms outstretched on the balcony, letting the wind gusts buffet me so.
Let the gods hear me this.
One day, I will find my skies and fly.

Because I am madly, foolishly, utterly in love with Lady Tikva Riva, I have placed her figurine next to mine in the miniature Hall of Heros I have. And yes, that means, that snake in the lowers won't be getting his couch any time soon. That man has *no shame*.
