I often assume that people make the journals mysterious and vague for the same reasons that a person might wait to go into public and suddenly have a panic attack or a swooning episode, or some other such evidence of sudden, unexplained and exciting trauma.

Because then people will ask!

Sometimes the plans we make are interrupted or rerouted. Just because the journey has taken a turn down a different path does not mean the destination will not be reached. If we must bide our time, then so be it. We move the moment the opportunity presents itself and not a second after.

I met the intriguing Marquis Ford Kennex to arrange for trade between Kennex and Grimhall, now I have so much silk I do not know what to do with it. Are there any familys out there looking for bulk silk? It will be marked up slightly due to expenses.

... in spite of all the sad news, the Menagerie has a new exhibit.

Princess Marian Valardin sponsored the Monarch Stag and Doe exhibit in the ungulate fields.

The Menagerie Masquerade is soon upon us and while I would wish to postpone it for the circumstances of more grief and loss, it's what the city needs right now. The city needs a night where people can come together, dance, and have a good time. We may mourn and grieve, but we cannot let the shadows win nor prevent us from those things in life we get enjoyment out of.

Let us dance for those who cannot.
