Yes your grace, but she speaks for the crown. It is very easy to take what she says out of context for a generally uninformed populace. I would like to hear King Alaric's take on this considering Saoirse has the authority to speak for the crown and this could besmirch the fine Valardin name.

Blessed Vayne, when one speaks with the authority of the Crown, one's words are powerful. There is a trade off for such things. Statements of such a nature are seen and heard and repeated by the citizens of Arx. She speaks with the weight of the Crown. Perhaps if she seeks such power, she should be aware of the consequences that power carries.

Before everyone gets very upset, I think Princess Saoirse is just having a little fun in good nature. Saying that she encountered a Grayson that is so stodgy and uptight that clearly they must be a Valardin in disguise. I don't think anyone is claiming we have carried out some nefarious infiltration of the Grayson family.

What do tales of diffused arguments, amazing wolves, brave otter pirates, and mischievous princesses, a lineup of baby-bumps in small, medium and large sizes, luxurious pampering and delightful company have in common? (Other than a grumpy Karadoc who got deserted for one night, just one mind you, and left with the paperwork while I went camping with Firevipers, Graysons, Thrax and others, I mean.) Glamping! Never knew camping could be so comfortable! Waking to the melodies of songbirds, the grrs and rumbling noises of some of the animals was a refreshing change, lets do it again sometime.

My arrival in Arx has been a great boon thus far. I spoke with Guildmaster Joscelin Arterius, the leader of the Crafter's Guild. After speaking with her about my burgeoning talents as an artisan, as well as my desire to learn, improve, and eventually own a shop, she kindly provided me with a generous loan that will help allow me to turn my dreams into a reality. I won't let her, or the Crafter's Guild, down. I will learn, improve, and start a business that will allow me to pay the Crafter's Guild back for their kindness. The days of being a farmer and shepherd are becoming increasingly distant. I will make my family proud.
