Regifting gifts on Gift Day was okay I hope? I did not see a decree against it. All in all everyone that sent me a gift got one in return save for one instance and I am only out messenger fees.

The thing about puns is that they must be well done. They must have a purpose, a point, a direction. When used appropriately (and sparingly), they are brilliant! When used excessively, they are a fine source of torture.

After I left Pridehall to go to Deepwood Hold in Old Oak and bury nose in learning how to Marquessa a March, there was an old servant woman who used to mother-hen me. I rather enjoyed it, even though I was a teenager and quite intent on appearing like I was quite put off by it.

Very soon, small groups of Explorers will be heading to Stormwall to see what heirlooms they can find that might have survived the great fire. It will be interesting to see how well they do over terrain that we know, before settling some in terrain we do not know. This is the first of many projects to come. I wonder how Cadenza is doing with her group of Explorers with Darkwater Watch.

Business is still good, and my living quarters are more livable now that I've replaced the old furniture. I've met a few good people too, from all walks of life. I'm really settling into this city nicely.
