Relationship Note on Simone
I have had the tremendous pleasure to share the company of my cousin the marquessa several times over these last few days. To be sure, she may not quite remember one of them other than a hazy dream, she had enough drink. But the intimacy of family, the ability to speak freely and unguardedly is a unique pleasure in the world, especially the world of nobility.
I am heartened that although we may find ourselves with different oaths and last names, the Telmar family remains as strong as never.

While my varied duties have kept me busy, I managed to get out for some non-official business that I am quite glad for. An exceptionally pleasant tasting at Master Venturo's brewery alongside Princess Katarina proved to be utterly delightful. It seems said brewery has a beacon that attracts all number of wonderful people, friends and new acquaintances alike! It certainly will not be my last visit there and I hope to conspire with him on a future event or two.
I had the pleasure and honor, as well, to be invited to share some insight with Master Sparte Fatchforth. I learned something new and had reason to think greatly upon history. I look forward to more discucssions such as that.
Lastly, of sorts, was reviewing the artwork at the Jayus Gallery with Prince Lorenzo, which has perhaps inspired me to do a bit of painting. I haven't really set much time aside for doing such lately, though suspect I really should. Not that my works are deserving presentation in the famed gallery, but it is still a wonderful way to put the mind and creative soul in focus.

Well, let's analyze the options.
Option one: I teach you the art of seduction as best I can. This can take several divergent paths.
Path: We, as you say, make out and I send you on your way. I cease to call, write, or send text missives your way for at least six to eight weeks, at which point I suddenly pop up to ask for help with, oh, some lessons or something.
Path: I convey the finer points of seduction by getting you together with SOME GUY I KNOW ABOUT and letting you practice on him. SOME GUY might not love the whole thing, but I'm pretty sure you'll come away more seductive.
Path: I just seduce someone in front of you and hope you pick it up via osmosis.
Option two: We visit the Whispers and have them show us what to do.

He turns another year. But such a year. As I spoke at the party so I write here to record my thoughts upon his year. His first child, born on the deck of his ship, in a night filled with storm and turmoil and beastly terrors. Another on the way. The pride of his navy, The Serpent destroyed in battle and another new one makes it's way to us in preparation for the tour. He assembled the Mouorning Onslaught and granted temporarily the rank of Grand Admiral of the entire Compact's fleet.
He turns thirty, this man that I wed to bind two houses together and help usher forth into the future. A milestone. I am proud of him this past year and the growth shown. May his next be far less lively, but none the less filled with everything he desires.
