My heart, how different Arx is. Far more opportunities and efforts to aid others can be found here but I miss the scent of the sea from the Keep windows and likewise the rolling hills of the isle. But there are things I am sure I will come to love here and treasure all the more.
May our family grow and prosper beneath Gild and Lagoma and may we continue to bring prosperity to Harthall with Mangata's blessing. I am looking forward to that which we can make together here.

Islin! My other cousin from my Uncle Duncan. To think you found a way to meet us in Arx so swiftly. I had a feeling you'd be interested in the bigger game that is offered in the large city. I am just happy that you were able to connect with us so soon. As always, we shall endeavor to see you thrive in your own way, and perhaps, in time we shall see how your skills at sailing have fared over the years. We are here my dear. After years away from the city, and chasing the sun upon the sea, we are now Marquis and Marquessa and the city of Arx has never looked so ready an opportunity.
So we come, so we shall remain until Mangata and Gild call us home. I feel for now that Lagoma's blessing will be upon us and we shall have our children within the city, raise them on the commerce and trade, the joy and laughter, and the strange, yet wonderful sights that the city has for us.
It is a time of new beginnings and I can think of no one other than you whom I would start this chapter with.

The fight with Caspian was popular, far more people were in attendance than I expected. I hope it was a suitable rite to Gloria. I don't normally get asked to help in those, but I felt it was a good cause and Caspian is a good fighter. I could think of few reasons not to participate.
Luckily where he cut me is healing well, I should be spared a noticable scar at least.

I find a great deal of wry amusement at someone being curious about my marriageable status only after my dearest and darling brother remarked in the whites that I am weird, slow, and not very good with a spear. Oh. And that I smell. Arx is, indeed, a curious city.

Allow me (why, thank you) to offer an unasked for series of suggestions on how to deal with anyone that attempts to apply unwanted social attention:
1. Find them.
2. Contact the Voice of their House and have their higher rank peer verbally knock them alongside the head with good sense and etiquette. Or literally. Until the individual obtains a clue on how to behave. Unless they are a commoner. If so --
3. Search out a faction they favor and follow the suggestion outlined in the second point. If someone is acting like a grubby-handed greedy child, they ought to be fucking scolded like one.
Or...
1. Hang them outside of the highest window of Saik Tower (or any other tower, truly - the taller the better) by their ankles.

My sister is wonderful. She is working so very hard for Grayson right now. It is a bit behind the scenes, but is doing so much to help with the Grayson award's ceremony. I am blessed to have my sisters with me, both Princess Sabella and Princess Lou are great sisters. Lou might be upset I called her Princess Lou, but she will get over it!

There is not much to add, my trip culminated with me reaching Arx. Our property demanded our attention and how the old saying goes is true, if you want something done right the first time, do it yourself.

Arx, there seems to be many 'frill' covered people. Felicia isn't one of them. She hit me so hard I could feel my bones rattle. Call this man very impressed. Perhaps there is a hard edge to Arx after all.
