I was born one of the Abandoned. Perhaps that gives me a different perspective in regards to the current situation than others. However, I don't think it really requires any thought, any decision, to decide to help refugees, regardless of whether or not they're part of the Compact. We're -all- the people of Arvum, and all of us face the same threats. The mistakes of the past do not need to be repeated, in deciding that some are more worthy than others. It's time to bridge the rifts, not widen them.

I had heard h was a beast of a man, Elk or bear, I still cannot decide which it is that pulls at the imagination more. Now that the tattooed giant has bared it all. I suppose it could have been worse if I hadn't gotten out of the way in the last moment and that others breached the subject of his lack of britches or much of wearing anything at all. When that was done he had cooled down some but then l get told no, but then maybe yes to courting Neve if I find some flower around Greenwood, and hearing Neve say there is no flower like that there. IS it really a goose chase you send me on or is there a chance there that even f the task is difficult you might be rooting for me?

Relationship Note on Neve
She is like thee wind that carries the breath of life and thee solid feel of thee ground under my feet. The spirits have most certainly laid her across my path and said she is your match. A fire of unbridled fury when she is told she can't have something and pleasing beyond measure when she is happy and content. Most times when I am around it is the later, yet I have seen the former in all its glory and danger. Even when drawing a bow to threaten her father over giving his support to our wishing to be together. And -nether- has been resolved as of yet.

It's easy to take things like family for granted. They've always been there so you just assume they always will be, and that nothing can touch them. To be sure, too, we Greenmarchers are no strangers to death and loss. It's a part of the way of living. But after this last battle, when I look around and see all these folk mourning the ones that didn't come back, I'm only selfishly grateful that you and Fia did.

I met the Father Priest at the baths and at first I was real nervous cause I don't always ... well. I just get real nervous is all. But he wasn't just nice and polite, he said some real important things. I never thought much of these God's you have when they're just stories to me. But maybe they aren't just stories after all. Maybe like the spirits they work to remind us of things we might forget otherwise, and what's really important. He reminded me that sometimes the hardest thing you can do is just to have faith in other people, but it's also the most important thing.

Relationship Note on Audric
Since I arrived wide-eyed, and drunk in Arx, a small town village girl from the valleys with no clue, the Captain General has always been good to me. He took me under his wing, clothed me, helped me acquire a Patron, gave me work. And he saved my life. Not many people probably know the last bit. Of course, like with anything with him, it came with a price. But if it wasn't for him, I'd of never of been able to afford it.
I would not name many in Arx my friend, but Audric is one of them. No, not a friend, he is family to me. Which means that I sometimes get to yell at him, and he gets to yell at me. And at the end of it, we're still okay. There's a lot that is going to change over the next few months, and I hope that this is not one of them.
Nothing but Elysia itself is better than a friend who is truly a friend.
