Not that I wish to be indelicate, or vulgar, gods forfend, but there are some things that come with age that no one tells you about when you are still a young buck with your whole life stretching ahead of you, rather than parts of you stretching down. One of which relates to sleep. Or a lack thereof. Because you are constantly getting up all hours of the night, and you are lucky if you manage a little bit of anything at all.
Unpleasant, yes, but I felt that perhaps it was my duty to let the young men of Arx know what the old men of my day didn't have the good sense to tell me. So take care of your health, lads, and revel in each and every good piss. (And bowel movement).

Asking if anyone has experience with the Abandoned is a little like asking if anyone has experience with humans. It's so damned broad it's practically meaningless. Every single Prodigal who joined the Compact above a certain age has meaningful experience with the Abandoned, but chances are high that experience won't necessarily apply to any Abandoned you'll encounter. That might be the only advice I can actually offer, in fact. Stop thinking of the Abandoned as a single people, find out which tribe, or tribes, you might come into contact with. Abandoned, as a word, only applies as a way to define them against the Compact, and that's the only way they use it. When they think of themselves, they think of their tribe.
The same goes for asking about a singular language. Abandoned peoples speak multiple different languages, depending on where they're from. Which one?

The Venture Home (Week 11)
Time passes so very quickly and it is hard to believe I have been away from home for so very long. It is time to return home and spend time with my family and the people of Tor. They sacrificed much for lands they will never likely see again, it is important to let them know that we have suffered with them and that we really do care about their plight. For every noble that has suffered, too many forget that it is often the commoners that suffer the most.

I find Lady Prisila to be quite a charming woman. It just so happened that I was available to speak with her about Seraceni trade opportunities. I was mostly curious for my own artistic wants, for the fashion and some of the accessories are quite stunning from Ischia. I especially like some of the volcanic glass carvings I've seen. I do look forward to using it in some of my future creations.

I've realized I have no idea what I'm meant to watch during a duel. Weapons? Hands? Faces? Feet? It's all just noise and clatter and injuries.
