It was pointed out to me that I hardly attend Death's Shrine anymore.
To be clear: I am there almost every single day, sweeping and dusting and singing songs to spiders. Only, I don't stay as I used to. And while I'd love to say it is because I am so busy (I am busy, on and off, with the Black Rose Theater), nothing I have takes up that much of my time. I've merely been reclusive.
So, starting today, I am going to make a sincere effort to be present in the Shrine of the Queen of Endings and Mother of Beginnings, to answer questions, to advise people, or simply to keep the spiders company.

I don't understand for a goddamn second how she can think that there needs to be seven different varieties of spoons for soup, different forks for seafood, and certain knives for cutting as if one or two wouldn't do the fucking job.

I met a nice man who offered to pay for some lodgings. In return, I'm to work at the soup kitchen in the Lower Boroughs. I've liked this arrangement. My back would not tolerate my sleeping on the ground much longer, and the rooms are much warmer.

There is a recent fad among the Peerage for duels that are not duels: snowball fights, song contests, spoon fights ... jousting is at least a combat and its competitors could deem themselves _duellists_ with their weapons even if there was a horse involved.
If what you want to do is throw a silly party, why don't you just throw a silly party and not pretend that you honor Gloria by so doing? You aren't dueling, you're just fapping about.

I have sold my first dress today. I can not wait to tell my husband about it. I hope he will be proud of me!

Spring! That means, to me - temperate weather that will get unbearably hot. Wearing less, going out more, drinking more - find more reasons to go out to parties more - dancing and fighting or fighting while dancing more. All more. Much more. More alcohol, more steel, more reasons to be reminded that spring's here. I've been accused of being 'too happy' recently. Is that really a terrible thing? Spring is here and it is my favorite season because the flowers and trees are bursting with life and the sun is warm but not too warm. I can have picnics again at either day or night, depending. I also do not mind the rain.
