I don't understand any of it either, it is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Also haven't you seen her put that stuff on and take it off like every day, morning and night before? I am fairly certain you were there once when she was taking it all off as we all spoke. Pretty sure I remember that.
Anyway, I wouldn't try eating that stuff as a general rule, I would imagine it isn't made from stuff you really want to ingest. Lemme know if you start feeling ill.

Today I went digging in my wife's vanity out of boredom. I found things in there that I have difficulty explaining upon deeper, self examination into the matter.
There were many strange substances inside. Creams, colored things that rubbed off on my hands, brushes that are too small to paint with, tiny boxes that served no purpose other than to hold flower stenches. I've never seen a collection like this in my life and I'm pretty sure they're meant to be a bundle of occult reagents.
Did I marry a witch? I don't think I did, but then again I might've definitely married a witch.
Oh by the way 'Rissa, when you read this I probably put most of your shit back in the wrong places. Lock your drawers next time.

On the occasion of my now having been in Arx for a week, I’ll record some of my impressions:
The love of mountains and high places must be bred in our bones. The farther you go from mountain ranges, the higher people seem to build their structures. We seem to be most comfortable when something is towering over us!
People have been fascinated that a Whisper could have been born in a mining camp. I hadn’t expected to find others— particularly the high born!— interested in the origin story of a lowborn no one! Proof positive that what is commonplace to one is exotic to another, though my family would laugh at me to hear me imply our home exotic.
People need only the slimmest crack in the door of opportunity to want to kick it open and shower others with generosity. Such gifts I have received this week! I will be giving adoring looks and grateful thank you notes for the next five years in order to keep the balance.
It is always very very important to make certain you clearly write the name of the addressee when sending messengers. On the other hand, if you are not clear and that message makes it into the hands of a stranger, sometimes the gods are kind and bring you a trustworthy stranger to return the letter. From such mishaps come interesting evenings and the disappearance of a truly impressive amount of expensive wine.
I really need to get a move on in regards to acquiring some impressive titles. I’m so far behind the curve I risk titles going out of fashion before I win any good ones.
Poets have a thousand and one pretty words for the joy of living near the sea but they never ever warn you about how everything smells fishy while it’s being pretty.

While reviewing the multiple titles of Crown Prince Tyrval I noted one of them and became confused. In the interest of clarification and because I appear to be on a Faith question trend this month...
If Prince Tyrval is 'Voice of the Queen of Endings' does that have any significance within the Faith of the Pantheon. Are Archlectors like Voices for their deity or are they more grand teachers for the teachings and Faith of that deity?

The number of titles was more informative than the actual proclamation. I do wonder if the Prince of the Twilight court is funding the Gala or Lady Monique has been sitting on a small mountain of silvers. Those cloaks certainly do not sound very cheap or easily obtained.

I’ve been married for a year now to Calaudrin Estardes who is also Greenbood. A year and a month or so, properly, but I’ve been thinking on how I feel about it and am just setting it down for Vellichor now. Our anniversary passed while we were on the road, traveling with stalwart companions on an adventure that we're still figuring out the full importance of. I didn’t even realize the date until we got back. This seems proper to me. We’ve never been fussy about dates or special occasions, but our lives weave together naturally, in such ways that make it hard for me to remember a time when he wasn’t in mine.
I was talking to someone about marriage not long ago, and I said on the whole I liked it very much. To me, it’s come to mean you’ve an ally you can lean on against what the world throws at you on your hardest days, even if you yell at each other about things privately (the yelling is also fun sometimes). It means you’ve someone to share your joy with when things are wonderful. And on the days that are just ordinary, you’ve a companion to talk on them with and just be with during the smaller, quieter moments. I never thought much about getting married. I’m no highborn and could have gone on with just myself all right, I think. But it suits me, and has expanded my life and heart in ways I’m still feeling out, to my betterment. I think I’ll keep on with it, so long as he’ll have me.
So, Calaudrin Estardes and also Greenblood, on the occasion of our first year of marriage, let it be known that I love you and shall continue to do so for the rest of my days, Limerance bless us both.
