Kaldur is standing looking closely at the coins on display. He's been here a bit by the feel of things. "Copper." Kaldur blinks, "It could be related to recent events." It's a stretch and his lopsided smile says he knows it. "I would love to stay, Admiral, but I'm afraid duty calls. My father returns to Arx from the Pearlspire and there is much to prepare." He beams at Princess Helena, "Good morning." He givs a nod to Seymour and others arriving and makes his farewells. To the hostess, "If you should have any questions about the roads in Caith before construction begins, let me know." He bows again and exits. "Gods light your path."
Evaristo lazily saunters inside with the air of someone who just woke up, hair standing in every direction, eyes a bit bleary but still curious, shining violet on that tanned face. The long blue scarf is unwound as he stifles a yawn, glancing around at those gathered and upnodding sort of cheerfully. The books doesn't draw his attention, but the coin collection does - he moves towards it, offering bows to those present in passing. "Greetings," he says and flashes teeth in a charming grin.
Armani turns to smile a brilliant smile towards all the guests that have shown up, putting one arm at her waist and bowing deeply and theatrically. "I welcome you all to my small exhibit, get-together and pitch an idea I'm very excited about. I've always been fascinated by the sea, but I've also ever since I've been young been fascinated by things that shine in the sunlight, not unlike the the surface of water itself and over in that display case over there you can see some of the ones that have caught my eye over the years." She uses her other arm to indicate the display case which has been filled with a selection of strange coins.
Brother Chester arrives, following Jeffeth.
As Kaldur passes her on his way out, on her way in, Helena waves, then turns her attention to Amari. When the woman gestures to the display case, she moves closer, leaning to peer at the coins within. Her head tips as she studies them appraisingly. "I never really thought of coins as something beautiful to display before," she says. "Of course I know some collect them. But seeing them here together, I can see that they have their own beauty, aside from whatever their worth." Once she's had her fill of the coin display, she moves out of the way, so others can also look.
"Who doesn't love coins?" Evaristo says with an air of excitement. "Coins in water - they glitter even more. The combination is amazing. Imagine all the shinies in the seas out there, on the bottom, forgotten and inaccessible - but still shining," he muses, nodding at Helena as she steps aside so he can lean in and look with curiosity. "My two favorite things; the sea and coins, in combination. I had to come see this. Great idea, Lady Gilden - I thank you." He does another flourish bow, the long scarf sweeping against the floor as he does. "I am Captain Evaristo Arterius, at your service."
Domonico comes in, sweeping the room with his gaze evenly as he considers everyone, giving the coin case a look over before he falls silent at the back, a simple nod of his head to Armani in greeting as he observes.
Seymour looks towards the coins on display from where he sits with an intense curiousity, shifting forward to rest a hand on one knee as he takes them in. "Those are remarkable. May we have an opportunity to examine them before they're consigned to the depths?" He seems to remember his manners, leaning back as he gives a small smile to Evaristo. "Seymour Oak, of Oak Financial Services. A joy to meet those with shared interests."
a small twilit kingsnake, Thistleton, an elderly and devoted manservant arrive, following Macda.
"What unites all coins is that they all have value, people are willing to trade just about anything for the right coin, food, warmth even death can bought if the right coins are put into the right hands." Armani explains with passion in her voice. During her brief pause she smiles warmly towards Captain Arterius. "What inspired this event is that it's not just us who place value in coins and while most people first thought when they connect coins to the Pantheon is Gild, she is after all the goddess of commerce. However coins are value and value is the essence of all sacrifice and that I think is the power of the wishing well." She turns her smile towards Seymour and nods. "Yes, do take your time to appreciate them to your hearts content."
Shuffling in, the large form of Jeffeth Bayweather takes a spot up towards the back, folding his massive arms over his chest. Pausing, he does give a deep bow to Armani, fist pressed to his chest. "My Lady." Then once you pop you just can't, a bow to Evaristo. "Captain." A bow to Helena. "Your Highness. A pleasure to see you again." Then a bow over to Seymour Oak of Oak Financial Services. "Sir Jeffeth Bayweather, Knight Commander of the Solace. At your service."
Straightening back up, the big man raises a hand to Armani. "My Lady, may I ask a question?"
Armani nods to the giant of a knight. "Go ahead Sir Bayweather."
"Very poetic," Helena tells Evaristo, a smile curving her mouth at the flourish of bow and scarf. "And I agree, a fine idea. I have no rare coins to offer, but am happy to give some of the common currency. "I would say it's sad to let them go, but sacrifices are not easy -- and as Captain Arterius says, they will have a rare beauty to offer once sent to sea. And perhaps someone else will find them to cherish them," she says. When introductions are made, she nods to each. "Helena Redrain," as usual forgetting to slide the title of princess in there. Amani's words draw another nod. "Well said, Lady Armani."
"I especially like the worth of the coins, myself," Evaristo notes with a rascally air, flashing that grin again. "Pays for all the whiskey," he adds with a wink at everyone in general. "It is a pleasure to meet you all and an honor - and Lady Armani, your words are inspiring and heartfelt. I will make an offering to the sea, but I don't have any special coins either, not today. I once did find a copper coin on the island I was stuck on for four months after we were raided by Shav'arvani pirates and lost our ship, it was old and worn down by the sand. I used to play with it when I got bored - and oh did you get bored quick on a deserted island, I can tell you. But I lost it... in the sea. Some drunken night, when I went on board the plank and was playing with it. It plopped right back into the water." He looks a bit wistful after that long tirade and erratic story. "You always become quite happy when you find a coin, don't you?"
At best, Macda is sort of late and at worst, she barely has any idea what this was about. Her servant wasn't the most reliable since returning to Arx, and so the princess appears pulled from her dawn bedtime. Cheerful, though, to see the gathered, nods of her head and smiles are offered as introductions. It seems that was already going on and listening was easier to do quietly. She didn't really need to be pointed out for arriving last, and stops beside the display of coins with Thistleton waiting along a wall.
"I'm slightly..." The big knight steps to the side as Macda enters, going into a deep bow there as well, fist to chest. Straightening up he looks back to Armani. "I'm confused as to the intent. This is a sacrifice given to Mangata or simply the concept of a wishing well itself?" Jeffeth asks, quickly bringing up a wince. "I mean no disrespect, of course. I would love to fully support the cause." He brings up one hand to scrub at the side of his head. "I'm just not entirely sure what the cause is."
Helena offers a smile to the tardy princess, also not calling any attention to her arriving a little late.
Seymour rises up from his seat after the invitation from Armani, waiting to hear what Sir Bayweather has to say. He nods a bit at the question, but goes straight to the display case after it has been said. Once there, Seymour carefully takes a closer look at the coins on display. "I always wonder where a coin has been, how it has been spent. I was drawn by the promise of seeing rare coins. These will be spent as an offering, if I understand the intent correctly?"
The sound of bells, spurs, and metal clinking against each other traces the wobbling of this sailor. His hat tipped forward to obscure his face and his vision as he stumbles on a shelf on his way here. He mumbles a curse and straightens his hat, finally throwing his gaze about the room to see who is here. Alrec pauses a moment and takes a long drink from a flask he pulls from his vest. "Mangata already has all my coins!" He shouts, hiccuping and belches. "They are the bottom of the sea."
Macda steps to the side of a glass shelf, seemingly to inspect the sides or backs of the coins. Is it the way they rest in the display holders interesting? She turns as she shifts her robe's skirt and her face lifts to watch Jeffeth's question, watching for Armani's answer. She manages to only be momentarily distracted by other conversations.
Domonico hmmms quietly from his position at the back, still and stoic as always as he nods quietly in agreement with Armani's words before he hears Jeffeth's question. The Malvici Commodore however does not seem particularly impressed with Alrec, his face darkening at the pirate-sorry privateers antics. He however does not reproach the main, however much he may want to. Arms fold and Domonico stands at the back, paying attention to everything it seems.
"That's a very good question Sir Bayweather. What's the purpose? There's countless stories of who saught and caught the attention of the divine frivolously and I don't think any of us want to end up in those books!" Armani smiles again, raising a hand to flick some of her hair back from her shoulder as she takes a few steps deeper into the library before turning to face her guests again. "Some might wish for a happy marriage, others for fame and fortune. I hope to ask for guidane. The plan is that once this dreadful weather is over, we sail out far enough we can no longer see shore and we throw them over the railing while imparting our hopes, dreams and desires."
"Well then, I must find a special coin again," Evaristo notes, rubbing his jaw in thoughtfulness. "I got more reason than many to make an offering to Mangata. Sure, I shout my thanks to her when we ride out a storm. But this one sounds much more... special," he notes and he turns oddly somber. He glances at Alrec, amused and having that expression of someone who doesn't mind someone stirring things up at an event. He won't take part however, just watching with wide-eyed fascination. "Is there time to bring something later, Lady Armani?" He stands next to Helena, giving the princes a radiant smile.
Lamora arrives, following Auda.
Scrubbing his face, the large knight gives a little nod to his answer. Glancing over to Seymour, then back to Armani. "A sacrifice and an offering. I understand that part." Jeffeth murmurs with a little smile. "But... I'm confused as to who this offering and sacrifice is being made?" The big man clarifies, looking to Armani. "Mangata, or simply the sea itself?"
A bit late, perhaps, but Auda steps into the library quietly, Bright green eyes glance around for familiar faces, a little smile flashed to Helena, Domonico and Audric. She doesn't speak, but waits for an answer to Jeffeth's last question.
"Judging by the snowstorm outside, I think atleast a few weeks before I'm feeling up for setting sail from Arx, I hope that gives you plenty of time something you feel is worthy." Armani explains to Evaristo before tapping a finger against her lip, pale green eyes resting on Jeffeth. "I'm no priest but I understand it as Mangata is the goddess of all water, the water in the sky, the water in the sea and even the water that makes up the wine we so decadently enjoy. This sacrifice won't be to the rain, or the wine but to the sea, the greatest collection of water there is."
Alrec's entrance earns a lift of brow from Helena, but she looks amused, a nod for his entrance, and then Auda's when it follows. As Evaristo speaks, Helena reaches into a coin purse within her cloak to pull out a few silver. "I have promised donations to many charities so this shall be a small sacrifice, only so I do not take away from the donations to others," she tells Armani, "but I would appreciate it if you put these in with yours, and I will take whatever guidance the spirits or gods see fit to give me at this time of trouble." She flashes a smile up at Evaristo. "May they glitter like gems in the water, and shine like hope for anyone who needs it."
Helena is overheard praising Armani: A lovely collection and idea. May the sacrifice bring her what she deserves.
Evaristo is overheard praising Armani: This coin idea is great!
Evaristo does sniff the air a bit subtly near Helena, and gives her a rather cunning and interested look smelling the haze. She's given an even wider smile at that, like he's appreciative of someone smoking haze. "Aye, if I do fail finding a special coin, a few regular ones will have to do, but I will look for one. Sometimes one literally falls into your lap, doesn't it?" he says, like he just randomly finds coins all over all the time. Doesn't everyone? Seeing Auda, he perks up and gives her a radiant smile and waves at her. "Here is a shining one, rivalling any coin in her radiancy," he says about the young woman. "She saved my life once," he tells Helena, leaning in a bit to lower his voice. "Worst case of hangover I ever had. THought I'd croak, but she got me some good medicine."
Auda is overheard praising Armani: Coins are always a wonderful idea.
Macda snickers, now formally amused at Evaristo, "Do you mean to say you wish to offer the Princess?"
With a groan, he gathers himself and finds a seat, "I would show you where, and you have to go yourself but you folks keep throwing it back to sea." Stumbling in a drunken slur that his muffled by more drink before he hands the flask to the closest person next to him, turning to say, "See?" He cranes his head between Jeffeth and Armani, leaning back and settling in his seat when she gives him the answer but the silence is short as it is interrupted with a scoff and he leans to say to whoever would listen, "Rain, snow, and storm no problem for us." Hiccup.
Evaristo's comment on Auda's shine prompts Armani to look the thin athletic woman over with one cautious finger raised in the air. "While it's fun to joke about throwing radiant friends overboard, none of that shall happen on my ship. Not only do I think the sea has quite enough drowned sailors in it already, the sharks would follow us for days hoping for another snack."
Bringing up one hand to his face, Jeffeth continues to scrub, brows knit still. He slowly loks amongst the others gathered, eyes flitting over each of them slowly. After getting a good look over each of his fellows. Then finally Jeffeth looks back to Armani. "So some sort of Shamanism, then? If it's not devoted to Mangata Herself? I did not know you also practiced Shamanism in addtion to the Faith, My Lady."
Auda laughs as Evaristo compliments her, flashing a bright grin instead of a smaller smile. "You're too kind. Well, no. You're perfectly kind, Evaristo." Armani is given a once over and a hapoy nod. "Thank you! I'm not that good of a swimmer and I can't speak with sharks or anything, so I appreciate your policy." There's a little pause, another glance around. "I'm Auda, for those that don't know me." The introduction is more quietly offered.
Seymour finishes his examination, straightening and moving to go back to one of the couches. "Such a lovely collection, enough to fill me with regret for their fate." He settles back into his seat. "I will be contributing as well, though not directly to the depths whether it be Mangata or something else." Seymour nods to Alrec as he says that. "I'll be investing coin in aiding those who live and work on the sea. Fishermen, if a better suggestion does not reach me."
The comments from Evaristo regarding Auda, comparing her to a coin, draw another smile from Helena. "Are all sea captains so poetic? It must be the good salt air," she says, though Alrec is given a dubious look she can't *quite* mask, despite her diplomacy and etiquette training. "Oh, I think he is offering this lady here," she tells Macda, with a nod to Auda. "I don't think we wish to sacrifice her to the sea, though," she says warmly, offering a hand to the woman. "Helena Redrain." Jeffeth's questions on shamanism draw the Redrain's eyes his way.
Evaristo makes a snorting sound in amusement, eyes glittering. He crosses his arms over his chest, but it's not a defensive gesture as much as just a comfortable lazy stance, watching everyone in the room with interest. "Mangata, spirits, the sea - I like to stay on their good side, all of them," he says, a bit nonchalant about it perhaps. "I say we make a whole party out of it! Sail out, having a good time, good food, good drinks, throw coins in - sounds like an adventure," he says. "No princesses or Audas thrown in, except if they are the face of a coin, of course," he adds cheerfully. He gives Seymour an appreciative and respectul nod. "Messere Oak, that is a splendid idea as well. Perhaps also the dockworkers? They have a rough life down there in the Lowers and without them, us sailors would not get any of our goods moved and sold."
"They might not be lost forever, the sea is generous in her gifts and one day someone in need may find our treasure while fishing or walking along the beach." Armani muses as she makes her way back towards the display case, tapping one nail against the glass. "It should definately be a good time, with good food, good drinks and hopefully even better company." She turns towards Macda. "I heard you found a strange and interesting coin recently, did you bring it?"
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Auda offers! She takes Helena's hand for a moment before turning her gaze to Seymour. "I like that idea. I have coin, but none of it unique. I think I'd like to join you in putting most of my contributions into the docks themselves, with a coin to the sea to dedicate it."
A look of understanding captures the expression of the Grayson princess. "Macda," is offered in return with a slight bow to her head to Helena. When Armani asks of her, the woman looks a bit surprised. "Oh, but there might be some misunderstanding. I am looking /for/ the coin. That- um- was the game. I- well, in my pack which is at home- only have a copy of the original- an original. It can be worn, which is why I'd asked about them." Macda then gestures to the shelves. "And those don't look anything like mine. It's a bit flamboyant."
At Macda's name, Helena nods witha smile, though there's no surprise; the Redrain knows who the Grayson princess is, at least by face and name if not properly having been introduced until now. "A pleasure to meet you in person," she says with a smile. The names of those who could use the coin from Seymour and Evaristo earns the men each a nod of agreement. "The act of sacrifice is a worthy one," she says quietly, "as is charity. To each their own and more of it, in these times, I think. Generosity of spirit and generosity of purse or wallet all have their place."
"I have seen it, it has a giant co-" He takes another drink from his flask, "Rooster." It doesnt hit Alrec until now but this wasnt a traditional Velenosian book club. This had a scholarly air to it and half expected some nun from his past to appear and smack him. "To your question, it can be both." He says to Jeffeth, "We can no longer reject that the spirits are as much a part of the living world if not, the world we share with our Pantheon."
"Thank you for that suggestion, Master Evaristo." Seymour smiles at the man as he says it. "Perhaps you can join me on a tour of the docks some time soon, to take in where there is the best opportunity for improvements." He gestures to Auda in turn. "More hands make for better work. I can spare a single coin for the depths, a dedication as you put it. I like that notion."
"You are looking for a coin, Your Highness?" Evaristo asks, his violet eyes immediately whipping to Macda, sensing an interesting story. "A /particular/ coin, I assume?" he adds, straightening up to put hands losely on his hips, sweeping his coat back.
Evaristo flashes a smile at Seymour, perking up even more. "Definitely. I have an invested interest in the betterment of the lowers," he says, with an official air about himself. "I even ran for the commoner's council because of this."
Macda turned her face, as if to avert the limelight's blush of her disappointing explanation. However, she stares vicious daggers at Thistleton for reasons that might stem, from not grabbing her things before rushing her out the door to being a part of a headache that follows her eyes momentarily to the drunk pirate-teer. Rooster.
Armani breaks into a short laugh at Alrec's description. "It's a shame we didn't get to see it, it sounds like a very eye-catching coin. Since you've now caught all our interest, I'm sure you'll have help finding this errant precious metal."
Stepping forward, the large man goes to bow to Auda. "Sorry. I didn't introduce myself earlier, Sir Jeffeth Bayweather, Knight Commander of the Solace at your service." Straightening up the large man finally turns back to Armani. "Lady Armani, would you like Godsworn to accompany you? To ensure that the offering has holy rites and that prayers are said over it before it is given." There's a glance down to Alrec, and an arch of his brow.
The big man frowns lightly, canting his head to the side. "While I may not be an expert on Shamanism. Perhaps Princess Helena can help me field this I would say that an offering cannot be to both the Spirits and the Gods of the Pantheon at the same time. No one here is rejecting that spirits are a part of our world. I am certainly not, at least. But compounding the two in one rite..." He frowns and shakes his head a little.
"A particular coin, yes." Macda says being distracted from silent, polite threats. Her bright eyes land on Evaristo, in a much more calm and cheerful way. That was an oddly quick change of masks. She then moves to the man, as to avoid speaking over distance and other conversation.
Auda turns that bright smile on Seymour, nodding to him. "I'm in, then." Macda and Evaristo get an inquisitive look, but then she's turning her attention to Jeffeth. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir
Macda nods at Evaristo, "Of course. But there really isn't much more to say. Simple and vague, the best sort of riddle."
The mention of her name widens the eyes of the Redrain, and she shakes her head slightly, but speaks anyway. "I certainly am not an expert in either, Sir Jeffeth. But I can tell you anything or anyone I believe in wouldn't be offended to have dual billing, as it were," she says with a smile. "And is it not true that the Faith holds the gods to be metaphorical rather than actual entities -- who exactly would be offended? I would perhaps worry about the spirits, but they are used to having to share, I think, and will take any sacrifice meant in good faith." She lifts her chin and smiles. "But as I said, I am not an expert. I certainly am not going to tell Lady Armani that her efforts to make a sacrifice are incorrect in any way."
"That sounds fantastic Sir Bayweather, proper rites are part of any good sacrifice and I'm just a woman who likes things that glitter." Armani looks towards her coins with a thoughtful expression. "I was hoping to get the opinion of the Marin'alfar, but I was told their ambassador just dove into the water by the docks one day and still hasn't come back?"
"Then perhaps that is their opinion." Macda smiles at Armani. "A Godsworn to aid in your intentions and supplication for guidance is far more valuable, my Lady."
The pirate turn admiral shrugs, flashing a thumb in Helena's direction but when Armani mentions that familiar yet distant name, she gets a hard glare but his words he keeps to himself, seeing himself surrounded by silks and their types. The others get a glance, waiting to hear more.
The big man cants his head at Helena, "Well--" A messenger that he was waiting for arrives and the big man reads it over, his features going grim. The large man takes a deep breath before looking up over to Armani. "So Lady Armani, I very much apologize for sticking to this issue. But what exactly is this offering being made to? If Godsworn are going to aid it is very important to know. I missed your answer whether or not it was to Mangata. And I don't think you were inferring it was the Spirits. So could you maybe be clear who and what this would be devoted to?"
Onida, a boglands wolf-hound, Tero the Iron Hound, Outi the Iron Hound arrive, following Jyri.
Dolmen, a Crimson Agent, Jyri arrive, following Harlex.
Onida, a boglands wolf-hound, Tero the Iron Hound, Outi the Iron Hound leave, following Jyri.
"She did say it was to Mangata and will be silver coinage and any symbolic coins- I think." Macda offers to Jeffeth. Seeing Harlex arrive, time was growing thin.
Jeffeth shakes his head to Macda. "She didn't."
Surprisingly not unusual to find him stalking the estate, in fact, Harlex drops in on the library with an unhurried gait.
Macda turns her head up the taller man, sounding a bit more confident. "No, I think she did. That Mangata was the goddess of the water, and the sea is the biggest bowl of it. Toss the coins in, say some words." She looks away from Jeffeth and around to the others. "I can't have been the only one who caught that?"
Evaristo is all caught up in this riddle now, rubbing his jaw as he stares out into thin air. "A coin with a co--- rooster on it," he murmurs. "A rooooooooooster. A coin." His face turns blank. "Well, I'll keep an eye and ear out," he promises, flashing Macda a charming smile. Being a bit lost as to what the discussion is about, he tries to get his bearings again and squints at the room. "And drinking," he reminds Macda. "We'll have drinks. I might throw a bottle in too. Sure Mangata appreciates a good drink, who doesn't?"
Armani sucks in her lower lip looking more unsure then she's done at any previous part of her presentation. "As I said I'm no priestess and when I feel the divine call to me, it uses no names. Is it Magnata, is it one of her aspects, is it something else down there that's calling for me? I don't know. But I feel like if it's not Magnata herself, it's part of her."
"She did," confirms Helena. "First perhaps she said the sea, but then she named Mangata, as 'goddess of all water, the water in the sky, the water in the sea' and I think she mentioned wine, too. The spirits and the gods can exist together. Just as those who follow the Pantheon and those who follow Shamanism do." The princess looks more awake than she did when she entered the library, a stubbornness lifting her chin and flashing in her eyes. She smiles at Armani. "Thank you for sharing your collection. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go, as I have a journey north soon, myself." With that, she begins to move toward the door.
Harlex moves to stand by Jeffeth and rubs the side of her beard. He smells like a bar, of course.
Listening to Armani dance around the details, the princess gives a dip of her head to Jeffeth. Perhaps not entirely a win, but she wasn't crazy. Helena had heard it too, even if Armani didn't want to sound committed to nailing down it's focus on the Faith. Able to hear conversation directed at her once more, she pivots. "Yes, yes, of course." Macda says, redirecting herself to Evaristo. "Much appreciated." Her smile is genuine, though a bit hurried as conversations still take form around them.
Alrec pulls himself up, shaking his head and chuckling, "Could be her Black Reflection, the kraken." He gathers himself and his belongings, nodding to those present. Lady Armani gets a polite bow of his head, "If I can not move my things to the left, I will donate some silvers but if you will excuse me..." Alrec says to her, interrupting his farewell to look out the window, cursing under his breath and rushing out of the room.
"I should get going. It was a pleasure, though, and I'll be participating." She smiles to everyone, and then makes her way out.
Lamora leaves, following Auda.
The big man stands up straighter, stiffening his shoulders. "She didn't." Jeffeth repeats. "When I asked if it was Mangata she said that Mangata was the goddess of water, and the sea is a very large collection of water. But she was very careful as to not dedicate it to Mangata while allowing peopel to think that perhaps it was." Jeffeth rumbles lowly. He brings up his hand and scrubs at his face once more. "I heard what you both heard, Princesses, but I also saw an attempt to deflect."
There's a little nod to Armani. "So you don't know." Jeffeth rumbles quietly, relaxing some, letting out a breath. "Lady Armani. There are things in the sea that we should not be giving gifts to. Including Mangata's Dark Reflection. I do not think you are trying to do anything heretical here. And I am sorry to put a damper on your party, but before going through this I strongly feel you should speak to Legate Aureth."
Regaining her composure as if she never lost it, Armani puts on a new smile and bows to all her remaining guest. "I'm so grateful you all could come and listen to me ramble about the things I love. I'll be sending out invitations to all of you for the actual trip and if you can't come yourself, I'll gladly take any coins you're willing to dedicate to my crazy idea."
A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Armani before departing.
2 Redrain Guards, Lucien, a bright-eyed pine marten leave, following Helena.
Evaristo's expression turns a bit thoughtful, looking between Armani and Jeffeth. But he stays out of it, bowing deeply to the gathered and walks over to quietly tell Armani something.
Harlex lifts his shoulders and sighs, his arms folded across his chest. He moves to lean against the wall for the moment.
Seymour looks over to Jeffeth, lifting an eyebrow slightly. "All the way to a Legate? That seems rather serious." Seymour rises up, adjusting his tunic. "Thank you for the invitation this evening, and the wonderful display of coins, Lady Armani. I deeply appreciate it, and do hope we can realize some progress in the spirit of Gild inspired by your plan."
