"Uh, sorry, sweets," Mae says, to Felicia. She shakes her head. "The special liquors are /special/. Magpie sells whatever's left for a crazy mark up at his shop. No more Cinnamon Curse for you! I mean, I have some in my /private/ stash, of course..." Mae says, with a little smirk. She then looks back to Brogan, and nods. "Harlequin of Death. Commoners' Councilor... um... I'm sure there's more I do..." she then scrunches her nose, and shrugs. "Not that fancy. Just a Disciple." Finally, back to Duarte. "Lord Mutt /is/ better. But you're a count! For some reason!" Mae says, to Duarte, with a grin.
Agatha may have missed the fight, but by damned she will not miss the free drinks. Or at least meeting some of the people that stream out for the free drinks. The big wall of a woman ducks into the room just in time to hear the mountain man shouting at someone. She turns her head to spy Brogan and thuds on over in that direction. "Old man! You are not on a mountain. Who are all these people, and do they drink well?" A glance at his companions at the table and she takes a second or third look at the other brawny looking red head before nodding approvingly.
The door to The Murder of Crows flies open, and standing at it's threshold, clothed and not oil covered is the man of the hour, the cutter of Grayson princes, once a thrall, now The People's Champion, Caspian!
"Round of drinks on me!" Calls the man, who is walking hand in hand with Cadenza. He strolls through The Murder to the bar in a slow stride, plenty of sway in it, grinning from ear to ear as he looks like he won The Tournament of Roses.
"Now I just need to beat him one more time!"
Duarte holds his drink up to the victor. "We know, Master Caspian! In wonderous acknowedgement of your performance I had them start the tab before you arrived. The merriment could not be contained!" He then shoots his whiskey and slams the glass back on the table. "Who's a count? Not me! I am but a humble son of a cobbler." He explains to Mae, and those at his table.
Shard's attention shifts to Brogan, who gets the full brunt of her scrutiny up until Caspian makes his very loud, boisterous entrance. She's still standing, although she's out of the main path of the door by this point.
"Wait..." Felicia starts, eyeing the bottle before she gives a siiigh,"Damnit, it's whiskey. Oh well... which bottle shall we start with?" she nods in Duarte's direction. There's a salute for Agatha, redhead to redhead with a toothy grin, and when Caspian appears, an approving cheer.
At least he wasn't oily....and neither were Cadenza's hands. Squeezing his hand she would laugh out as she looked around. Waving to the faces that she knew, there as a light in those blue eyes. "Caspian.....let's find a seat....." She'd grin then as she nodded. "Now you know he's going to be expecting something the next time." A wink as she then waved to Brogan and Felicia. "See? No putting up with him after this!"
"Duarte 'The Dog' Cobblerson... Or maybe it's Duarte 'The Confused'... Hm, hm, hm," says Mae, toward Duarte. Then she looks over to Caspian. "Caspian! Tell us! How'd you do it!" she says. "You looked surprised you landed that hit... good acting or are you just /so wonderful/ you surprise /even yourself/?" Mae asks, obviously teasing.
"I'm glad you got away from the all the stuffy War Meetings." Brogan grins at Agatha, and stands up as she comes over to the table. He's got no issue wrapping the brawny lady in a giant hug, "Aye, they're all fine folk, and I'm sure will be good friend in a few bottles." He goes around the table quickly, "Dame Felicia Harrow, Kings Own." Then "Mae Grayson, Owner of this Fine Establishment." Next inline, "Count Duarte Amadeo." Then a large hand in Caspian's direction, "Champion of the Night, Caspian Wild!" Then to everyone else he says, "Princess Agatha Redrain."
"Lord Mutt should suffice." Duarte nods, then raises the second glass he poured himself to the people as Brogan introduces them. This is accompanied by pleasantries and all that sort of noble etiquette stuff.
Seeing everyone is at the window table, Caspian guides Cadenza over to that table to sit himself down, grinning to them. At Mae's particular question he says, "I meant to just lightly cut him. I didn't mean to hit him that deepily. He moved a little more to the right then I expected him too, but a cut is a cut!" He grins wide, looking over to Agatha, "I've met her highness a few days ago. She seemed like an interesting sort."
Cadenza has joined the Window Table.
Caspian has joined the Window Table.
Brogan says in Northlands shav, "If you're interested in drinking, you're more than welcome to have a seat..."
Looks over to Shard, and says something in their native tongue before returning his attention to the table.

Mae looks up at Agatha approaches. Way up. She stares for a long, awkward moment. She /was/ just talking. Now she's staring. "Ooooh..." she finally says. "You're so tall and /red/," Mae says, in a tone that must mean it's a good thing. Note, of course, she's sitting next to another tall(ish) redhead! And Caspian's response? Missed. Poor Caspian.
Shard says in Northlands shav, "I don't know you."
There are a handful of people who can make Agatha OOF in a hug. She just outbulks them usually. Brogan makes her OOF. She slaps him on the shoulder once she's released, though it may be more of a thump. "Hello! Is the goal to drink enough so that I forget all of your names or mix them terribly tomorrow? That will be an excellent goal! But until then, Hello, Dame Kingzone, and Mae Grayson, whose name is very important if you own the place with the drinks, and Lord Mutt!" She waves over towards Caspian and Cadenza, familiar figures by at least a bit. Of course then Brogan has to throw the P word out there and she rolls her eyes. "I am a fighter, here to celebrate another's victory and toast him. I think he and his lady held their liquor as well as could be expected the other day!" And Mae's compliment? Cause in Agatha's mind that's just about the best compliment? It makes her even redder when she blushes. "Thank you. I worked very hard on it. They say it didn't, but I think hanging from trees helped."
Looking up she would look to Agatha and waved. "Nice to see you again!" Cadenza glanced over to Mae and chuckled. Giving her wave in greeting....though she might be occupied to see it. Licking her lips she would then look to the table. "So...what are we drinking?"
Agatha has joined the Murder Table.
Poor Caspian indeed. That's fine though, because he's setting upon the table the bottle of gin that Magpie had given him. "Well, I'm drinking this. This is my victory gin." He looks at the bottle noticing the ship inside, asking, "How the hell do they get the ship in there anyway?"
Caspian drops Night Cruise 'Limited' Gin.
Duarte works on pouring him another two glasses of whiskey as the cross-talk ensues. He glances at Cadenza, then back down at his glasses. He chooses one to slide her way and does so.
Felicia nudges Mae with a grin,"Whiskey, so far." she offers to Cadenza, but for Agatha,"Felicia, just Felicia, and at least half the people here can drink, I think." she chuckles, then glances at the bottle set down by Caspian with undisguised fascination.
Caspian is overheard praising Magpie for: He was quite generous in his payment for the duel! Also, he gave me gin! How could he not be praised for that? It's even got a model ship in it! How did he do that?! SORCERY I SAY!
Mae stares for a few more long moments, seeming not at all aware of what she's doing. Then Felicia nudges her, and she looks aside. "Hm?" she asks, blinking. Then she looks over, to Cadenza. "Oh! I'm having wine... it's light red, from outside Tor, I'm told," Mae explains, and gestures to one of the few spare glasses on the table. "And I can't tell you, Casp," Mae says, to Caspian. "But I can say it's real white oak, to flavor the gin..."
Duarte stares at Agatha with dark lycene eyes as he sips at his glass. The eyes then shift slowly to Brogan, and then flick back to her. He removes the drink from his lips. "Are you two related?"
Brogan looks back to Shard, says something in their native tongue again, and returns to the table. "Good to see you again, Agatha. I'm glad you could come out." As he sits, he shakes his head, "I'm horrible at drinking, it's why I do it so much so I can practice." snatching up a whiskey, and downing it with a quick gulp. Smiling to Duarte, he says "I'm everyones Favorite Uncle up North. Or Brother. Or however they choose to see me..." He winks at Agatha, adding, "Some of them I've helped learn a thing or two as they chose their path, though."
Brogan says in Northlands shav, "Only way to meet us is to come over, and drink. Your choice."
Caspian offers a grin to the group as he pops the cork off his bottle and takes a swig of it, giving a nod of approval. "This is good shit. Why don't everyone pass it around and try a sip? Drum up a little business for magpie, apparently the man is fucking good brewer when he isn't making cupcake liquor."
Shard wrinkles her nose. She moves, however. She swings past the bar, and after a brief exchange of words and coin, she brings both herself and another bottle of whiskey right over to the table where everyone else is gathered, where she plops into the last chair uninvited. Or, perhaps not entirely uninvited, given the glance she gives Brogan. Either way, she takes a swig from her new bottle and leans back in her seat, still narrow eyed.
Shard has joined the Murder Table.
Glancing to that glass of whiskey she would stare at it before looking to Duarte. Cadenza smirked as she picked it up, bowing her head. Looking to Caspian's bottle she would blink. "Wait...." Leaning she would point then. "....I have one of these bottles for the auction! It's so intriguing!" Smiling brightly she would then take a sip of that whiskey before looking to Felicia. "Whiskey is perfect...." A nod before she would look to Brogan. "So!!! Mud wrestling!!"
Agatha doesn't seem to bothered by Mae's staring. Even gives her another little wave as she pulls a chair over. She's awfully delicate about sitting down on it. Almost as if she's had a chair or two break under her. "I will remember your name, Felicia! We could be a terrifying force I think!" She takes a drink and then leans towards Duarte to listen. When Brogan answers, she nods. "Everyone's uncle, old man mountain. He was one of the trees I hung from when I was smaller." She points at one of his biceps.
"I spent the morning with your actual nephew," Mae offers, to Brogan. "Mydas," she clarifies. "I go to his weird-o house every so often to steal orange juice and other things I can't afford," she explains, with a smile. Then she looks to Caspian, and she sighs. "Yes, /Magpie/," she mummbles. "At least people have mostly stopped telling him how much they like - or hate - /his/ bar," Mae laments. "Aaaanyways... you new to Arx, Agatha?"
"Aye." Felicia agree's with Agatha with a grin, but at Caspian's invitation, she elects to start with gin rather than whiskey, for once,"If you're headed to Crovane, I'll be there." she advises before coughing at mudwrestling,"Why ya'll can't organize that kind of stuff for... oh... summer? Where someone's not liable to lose an eye due to rock-hard nipples or something... I don't understand, but, yeh." there's a chuckle for Mae,"And you haven't cut out their tongues yet? For shame."
As Shard joins the table, Brogan gives her a grin, "Well Met, Brogan Nightgold..." and he looks around, "and everyone else you heard before. Glad you decided to sit with us." He laughs at Cadenza's comment, "Yes. Sigurd, shifty bastard, wants me to mud wrestle for a Redrain Party, and I can't leave until he says so..." Looking around the table, he smirks, "So I guess I'll be in the mud for awhile knowing him. Luckily I'm used to the chill." He looks between Agatha and Felicia, "Ya know, the two of you could probably do quite a bit of work together in a tournament." Nodding to Mae, Brogan chuckles, "Aye, Mydas is a damn good man, but he's got some quirks about him."
"Shard," says the new woman with the whiskey bottle, before she takes a far smaller sip from it. And that's...all she says. No family name, no title. That's her entire introduction, it would seem.
"Like broken glass?" Lord Mutt asks, before taking another swallow of whiskey.
"Hi Shard, nice to meet you!" Mae says, as if she's just noticed the woman there. The words are followed with a grin. Then Mae looks back to Brogan and nods. "Yeah, he-..." And then Mae's shoots back to Felicia. "Wait, what? Why would you be in Crovane...?" she asks, with a wave of concern showing plainly on her features.
"Wait we can do team stuff?!" Now she took that bottle of Caspian's and poured herself a little bit of gin. "I won't be able to try this any other time than now...." Cadenza gave that Champion a wink before looking to Felicia. "See? You can partner up! I say I'd do it but I think the cold will kill me. I'm not as sensitive to the cold but.....still. I can't wait for winter to be over...." A raise then as she sipped on that gin.
"Like broken glass," Shard replies. To Mae, she lifts a hand and wiggles her fingers. The gesture doesn't look terribly natural coming from her; she's probably mimicking someone. Maybe it's the complete lack of any change to her expression to accompany it.
Felicia grins at Shard,"Hey." she offers before turning her attention to Mae,"Why else? I mean... they suggested I could go with the fleet, but a hundred pounds of steel and a great sword's not really a great idea on a /boat/." at least, as far as she's concerned before pouring herself a whiskey,"I've done a few team one's, haven't won any, yet. But, well, never was a duelist." there's a slight shrug of her shoulder before she raises her glass Caspian's vague way,"To a battle well fought." she suggests.
"The smart one?" That's Agatha's question when Mae mentions Brogan's nephew, Mydas. "He made my brain ache at the meeting. I will have to find his weird O house if he gives away drinks and things there. Hah! And I just got here a few days ago, yes, Mae Grayhope! Very new." Which maybe she shouldn't admit in the middle of the Boroughs, but lessons learned! Felicia mentions Crovane and, well, there are some gestures that are universal. She makes a fist and holds it out to her future fighting companion. "Let's go try not to die! Especially at the hands of nipples." Pause. "Nipples should not have hands." Clearly she needs to drink more. She'll pick up whatever is nearest.
"Well Met, Shard." Brogan replies to her, as he grunts about the Crovane trip "Aye. A bunch of us are headed up to Stonewall to protect it from the Pirate King forces." He laughs at Cadenza's words, shrugging one shoulder, "I'm sure, Sigurd will bend all the rules to make me look like a goof. Damn him." But there's obvious affection for his Nephew. "Nipples, I saw enough of those tonight... Caspian..." he takes a drink from the shared whiskey.
"Well, because, you're the King's Own. Not the Crovane's Own. I was under the impression that you'd be-..." Mae starts, then stops, and shakes her head. "Sorry, um. We can talk about that later!" she says. 'We can... go on talking about, uh-... nipples... I guess..." says Mae. And /that/ has her blushing, just a touch. She sips at her wine.
"Nipples should not have hands! And yeah, my nibbles were so fucking hard I could have cut through diamondplate," Caspian says, proving too much info as he drinks from his bottle once it makes it's way back to him. He grins back to Brogan, chuckling his way. "Oh, I imagine I'll get more requests for shirtless fights. Lot of noble ladies who seem to be into that.
"The evening of conception must've been a wild one." Duarte surmises, given the meaning of Shard's name. He shoots back the rest of his whiskey and pours another glass. His attention to the cross talk has been minimal. He's pretty much no clue what is going on around him currently. "Nipples." he repeats.
Looking to Shard she'd raise her glass then, smiling. "Nice to meet you...." A wink then as she looked to Brogan. "Oh...then I need to get a team of at least five to take you on..." A grin then as she tilted her head. "....but shall it be a team of all women? I do know your weakness now...." Laughing a bit she'd look to Caspian, putting her hand on his as she shook her head. "You should offer that up....shirtless duels. I'm sure challenges would just fly your way then." Cadenza would take another sip then of her drink. "Do it."
Felicia fistbumps Agatha back with a broad grin,"Well, if we're going to die, may Death return the best of us." she returns before taking a swig of her whiskey before turning to Mae,"The bulk of the Hundred are staying here, Mae, but we are also representatives of the King's will, so some of us are being sent to fulfill that duty. I'm among the one's that got tapped to try and not freeze anything important this time around." she shrugs her shoulders briefly.
Onida, a boglands wolf-hound arrives, following Jyri.
Shard's eyes narrow a little further at something, but she takes another small sip from her bottle instead of speaking right away. When she finishes, she gives a small lift of her chin toward the others, and lowers her bottle to the table--not that she actually lets go of it. "If you think it's cold out there, you're not going to be remotely happy once you head north."
"Wait. OH! Wait, this was not a debate like the thing at the Salon the other night? THAT would have been MUCH more interesting with nipples," she exclaims. "I am sorry to have missed this fight tonight. There was an actual -fight- then, right? It was not just some sort of contest for who could make women swoon, yes?" She nods her head at Shard after the introduction. "The best of us. Huh. If death returns the best of us, someone is going to have a VERY stubborn baby when I die. That's the best thing I do," she suggests to Felicia.
Mongoose arrives, following Joscelin.
A deep rumbling chuckle comes from Brogan as he raises an eyebrow in Cadenza's direction, "Oh, is that right Caspian? Well, I'm thinking we could make some money without fighting, your Highness? Just Shirtless Caspian and Luca, and they could dance around with their weapons." There's a pause, a sigh, and he shakes his head "I see how this is going. Between you and Khanne this will be less wrestling and more..." and he just leaves it at that to take another drink of whiskey. He bumps Agatha's shoulder with his own, "Stubborn is damn right."
"I have no idea what I'm doing," Caspian admits with a shrug given to the group, overhearing Felicia and Mae. "I was going to Darkwater Keep, but with Darkwater Deeps extending to Darkwater Keep, I have no idea if we can even go to reinforce it," Caspian admits back to the group with a small shrug. He looks over to Brogan next, giving him a wide grin, "Hey, money is money, my friend. When you'r a commoner you gotta buy your bread somehow! Consider yourself lucky and wrestle other men in the mud and be grateful for it!"
"Is the north very cold?" Duarte deadpans, nursing his latests pour of whiskey.
There's an -oof- from the door that's open, letting all the cold air in. Mongoose the deerhound trods in ahead of whoever is keeping the door open. She heads straight to the fireplace, the dog does, and Joscelin comes in behind her, her beautiful coat buttoned up to her throat, grinning; the place is hopping tonight. She greets the servers she knows, the barkeep she knows as well. She is a Grayhope, after all.
"Well, please stay safe. I won't presume to guess what Death has in mind for any of us, even the best," Mae says, with a smile. She then falls quiet, as she listens to the others talk. There's a long moment of consideration, then she clears her throat. She leans over, and kisses Felicia's cheek, then rises up, with her glass. "Soooo... Lord Mutt. Wanna come tell me which of these bottles is actually Lycene, and which is a knock off?" she asks, nodding her head toward the bar.
"Josie!" Mae squeaks, just as she's starting away from the big table.
Jyri arrives with his large wolf-hound next to him, realizing that he has kept the door open for Joscelin as he steps aside. Odnia looks and sniffs at Mongoose before trotting to follow her over towards the fireplace for a flop. "Did not realize you were going to be here." comes the rumble from the Prodigal as he moves aside to allow the jeweler to pass and moves to check out the rest of the place.
Caspian turns his hand to hold Cadenza's, giving her a little grin as he says, "That might not be a bad idea. If it's what gets me work! Though, I think it's more you like seeing me fight half naked."
Duarte sets his glass down and nods over to Mae, rising as well. "Of course. I'd be happy to offer my expertise."
Joscelin looks amused at Jyri. "Didn't I just see you?" she teases, then beams at Mae's squeak. "Mae-mae!" she greets the woman cheerfully. "Did I miss the party?"
Mae has left the Murder Table.
Mae has joined the Crow Bar.
Duarte has left the Murder Table.
Duarte has joined the Crow Bar.
Agatha hunches her shoulders forward after Brogan bumps them. She mutters, "I still think I could have brought the tree down without an axe if I only had another two hours. But no, Agatha, we do not stay out all night in the snow when you probably already fhave a dislocated shoudler." BIG SIGH. Then Duarte is asking about the north and cold and she deadpans right back. "Oh. No. Totally exaggerated. Very nice this time of year. Excellent vacation spot! Bring your silver."
"Now /is/ there going to be payout for this little mud-wrestling thing? If so, maybe I'll have to reconsider participation." Felicia enquires, distracted by Mae's leaning over to kiss her and giving the other woman a brief, more gentle, bump of her shoulder in return,"I meant more... the best parts of us, not that... ah well, still." she shrugs slightly again,"So are you actually related to Brogan? Or family by choice?"
There was grin to Brogan then. "I am all for this.....I think more men should fight shirtless...." Cadenza would give a fake shiver then before looking to Caspian. "Ooh....you caught me.....however..." Leaning over she would whisper something to him before grinning. Looking to Felicia she would nod. "I'm still waiting to hear where I'm needed by my family. I should know soon I think....with our meeting coming up." A glance to Agatha then she would grin. "Oh? Vacation spot? Where exactly do you recommend? But if it is terribly cold I may never leave my bed."
"Party is still, uh... partying," Mae promises Joscelin. Then she steps over to the bar, and sits herself right up on top of it. "Can you hand me that bottle, Johnny?" she asks the bartender. Then she looks back to Duarte. "No, you may not sit on the bar," she tells the man. "So, here it is-..." And then whatever comes next, Mae's volume drops low enough to not carry from the bar.
Shard's attention shifts first toward Joscelin, and then, for a longer few moments, to Jyri. She studies the latter carefully.
"Hey, just because there is money doesn't mean we get access to it..." Brogan chuckles back to Caspian, shrugging shoulder, he adds "Hell, if it got you more money, I'd join in just for the laughs. Spirits know I've got no shame in that regard." As Joscelin and Jyri walks in, the large Northman looks over his shoulder and offers a wave before looking back to the table. "Shard, are you headed up North for the Battle, or staying in the City?"
"You are known here." Jyri offers to Joscelin, moving into the floor area properly before he moves away from the jeweler and towards the bar. Though their canines may be sharing the hearth, they didn't intend to arrive together as he wanders towards the bar to place an order, his lone eye sweeping over the place thoughtfully.
"Neither, most likely," Shard replies, without taking her eyes from the other prodigal. "But I'm not sure yet. I'm with the Valorous Few, and we most likely won't know where we're going until everything else is set."
Looking amused, she gestures to Jyri. "Welcome to the Murder," she tells the Prodigal wryly. "Family establishment." She starts to peel her coat from shoulders, peering at Shard with interest. She gives the -other- Prodigal a respectful nod and a warm smile, as the woman herself heads to the bar. Joscelin grins at Brogan, admiring the -enormous- man, beaming at the others she knows.
"Johnny!" says the plump, pretty jeweler as she parks her wide hips on the barstool. "My usual, please. Extra cinnamon."
Agatha looks at Felicia sidelong. "You see, now what if he says there is a payout, but then you go and they say, "AH, you will be paid in our company and booze!" And then you are there and it is too late. BROGAN, how much silver will she get when she beats all of you men?" Because her fellow rehead is sure to win, right? But then she has to think and that's much harder. "I do not /think/ we are related by blood. Sometimes it is just easier to assume everyone is a cousin than having to remember all the family trees." And then Cadenza, oh. Now Agatha is a deer in the arrow sights. "I. Um. You believed me? No, I do not ... I suppose you could visit Farhaven?"
Only once Shard has turned away does Jyri do likewise, the two of them watching the other. Turning his attention to the bar, he taps it once. "Whisky." he asks for as he watches the celebration. "There was a party?" he asks Joscelin as he realizes that they have arrived on the tail-end of something.
Caspian offers a smirk over Brogan, snapping his fingers as he points to the man, "I knew I liked you for a reason. Life is too short not to enjoy every moment of it." He looks over to Cadenza, grinning her way, bumping his elbow into her before he sips more of his gin. "And belatedly, your highness, it was a real fight, swooning women was just something we did on the side," Caspian says back to Agatha with a smirk given her way.
A brow would raise to Agatha but it was playfully so. "Well...hm. You jest? And here I was going to find somewhere to go and getting trouble...." Looking up she would look to Jocelyn and Jyri, raising her glass of gin. "Welcome to the party!" Cadenza would giggle a bit then as she turned back to the table. "So your highness....Farhaven?" Now she was teasing a bit as she winked. "I'm kidding. As much as I've gotten around....if it's vacation? I want to go somewhere I can lay get some sun...preferably with the least amount of clothing."
Brogan nods to Shard, brow furrowed in thought, and mutters to himself, "Should see if anyone has talked to the Few's Leadership." He stops, looks back up, and catches Joscelin's grin and returns one in kind. Hearing his name, he turns back to Agatha, "Wait, What/! I didn't know Silver was on the line? I thought it was some whiskey and your pride..." His eyes narrow at the Princess, "Mud wrestling and Gambling. This definitely sounds like Sigurd." He grins at Caspian, "That's right friend. Best drinking partner around."
Joscelin grins at Jyri. "Before I ran into you at my shop, I'd just come from a duel. The duel was on behalf of Archlector Aleksei Morgan, and Magpie Grayhope. It was ridiculous, and the chosen champions were Prince Luca Grayson, and Messere Caspian Wild." She gestures. "I heard there was a celebration party going on, it's been going for several hours. The Grayhopes take this kind of thing very seriously."
Shard raises her bottle to her lips again, but she doesn't take a drink just yet. "That depends on what you mean by the leadership," she replies to Brogan. "I think there are some potential things in place with Audric, but that's all they are so far...potential. I'll know when he knows, and the rest will know when I know, but until then?" She waves the bottle, then takes a small swallow.
"I see." Jyri offers with a brief flicker of a frown. "Reminds me of celebrations of adulthood." he responds finally as he turns his attention to his drink to down it, and taps the glass for a second one. "For much the same reason."
Agatha lifts her latest glass towards Caspian in salute when he speaks of it being a real fight. "You should not do swooning women on the side unless your sweetheart approves of it," she says very seriously with a nod to Cadenza. She's probably aware of the double meaning. Probably. When it goes back to Farhaven and vacation, she huhs. "Well, you can wear what you like. And there is sun. You just will have to prove how strong you are, how tough to put up with the cold!" She'll get back to mudwrestling in a moment. There's something to THINK about now. Brogan mentioned gambling.
Caspian offers a grin back to Felicia, pointing out to her, "You just said I was pretty enough, then too pretty! Make up your mind!" He laughs at that, waving her off with a grin. "Andhow tall do you like your men? I'm no midget!" He takes another swig of his gin, looking to Cadenza. "There is one woman who seems to be fine with how I am." Hearing his name, he waves to Josceline, before laughing to Brogan, lifting his bottle his way.
Joscelin has joined the Crow Bar.
Jyri has joined the Crow Bar.
Joscelin gets her large mug of steaming hot cider, inhales the fragrance and sighs. Bliss. She looks to Jyri. "Want a drink? I'll buy," she offers. "Actually-" She raises her mug to the Murder. "One round on me!" she calls.
Cadenza would look Felicia and chuckled. "Pretty? Hmm...." She would glance to Caspian and smiled. "I guess...you're alright looking." Sticking her tongue out at him she would look to Agatha then. A smirk then as she nodded. "If he were to be doing such a thing....he and I would have to have a long talk. And yes....I want to get some sun.....not frostbite." Laughing then she would nod. "But it's a challenge now! Go diving into the snow with nothing on?" She'd tap her chin a bit then smirked. "....I think I'll have to do it."
"Caspian's already paying, you silly woman!" Mae says, to Joscelin.
Joscelin snorts. "I can give him a break!" she insists.
"Be careful, Caspian..." Brogan warns with a very large grin on his face, "If she thinks you're too pretty she tries to fix it to make you 'just pretty enough'..." A grin cast in Felicia's direction, "As far as height, you're right, you're among the taller here..." he nods to Felicia and Agatha, "...but these Ladies are in a League all their own." Brogan raises his glass of whiskey to Joscelin, "Now there's a fine lady that'll save the purse of Caspian Wild! Many thanks, my Lady."
Joscelin elbows Mae, looking at Brogan. "Who's the big one with the pretty shoulders?" she 'whispers' loudly.
Caspian lifts his gin bottle over to Joscelin, calling out, "My hero!" And then he takes a swig of the gin!
Agatha turns towards Joscelin and grins. "Hello! I am Agatha. Thank you for noticing my shoulders. I work very hard on them."
Joscelin laughs!
Cadenza would laugh then as she raised her glass then to JOSCELIN. "Many thanks!!!"
Duarte takes a moment from his murmurring with Mae to admire Brogan's shoulders. "...oh...she's not wrong." He laughs.
"Another whisky then." When Joscelin inquires about the shoulders, and Agatha calls out, Jyri does take the redhead in. "They are quite firm looking shoulers." he points out directly as he returns his attention to the bar and the drinks.
Mae leans over, towrds Joscelin. She replies in a stage whisper. "That's Agatha. And that's Brogan Nightgold. Both silks. They're both very attractive aren't they?"
Shard has fallen to quiet drinking for the moment.
Joscelin nods vigorously at Mae's assessment. "That they are. Silks? What are they doing here?" she whispers right back. "Don't they know the Grayhopes are terrifying?"
Overhearing his name, the Northman looks over his shoulder at the bar, peering for a moment then offering everyone a genuine smile. "Silks? Bah. Might have some Blood in the veins called Noble, but those of us from the North value Leather and Steel.. or a good Fur if there needs to be warmth." and Brogan winks to Mae and Joscelin before turning back to his table.
"Doesn't have to be a good fur," Agatha points out after Brogan's comment. She is so not helping the cause of the civilized Farhaven regime...
"Mmmm...I think I'm getting tired," Caspian notes back to the group, rising from his seat, grabbing his half full gin bottle. His sloe-dark eyes look over to Cadenza, smiling to her, "Are you going to join me or stay here and chat it up? I don't mind."
Caspian picks up Night Cruise 'Limited' Gin.
Duarte is walking away from the bar, back toward his original table. He shares a laugh with her - something she must've said, "But I have poor orphan Orland to think about. He is the heir to my empire, after all."
Duarte has left the Crow Bar.
Looking to Caspian she would smile as she stood. Cadenza would stand up slowly then. "I'll go with you. I have a long day tomorrow so I should try to rest....." A wink as she looked to the table. "....thanks for the company you guys. I had a lot of fun.....we should do it again."
Duarte has joined the Murder Table.
