A messenger arrives, delivering a message to Deacon before departing.

Waldemai emerges from the stair, snatching his cap from his head in the presence of royalty. He avoids pergolas and arbors, but like most smiths he likes to keep warm and so the fireplace attracts his attention.

Lucita gets a mellow-toned lute with gilt painted roses from a feminine carryall with colorful quilted padding.

Leana, an Igniseri Guard have been dismissed.

Lucita arrives a little later than usual and gives her trainee guards a scowl. "I told you we'd be late and Luis said it was alright to carry the instruments just this one time!" She scolds them in a soft tone of voice then points to an area for them to set the dulcimer, lute and vielle, carefully checking that they are still in tune. With a beguiling smile she finally turns to see who might be present, a curtsy given Valencia. When she moves across the room she looks down, at the soft little noise her dress hem makes and draws a shaky breath.

Reigna arrives, following Kael.

The little princess smiles brightly as she enter the newly opened terrace gardens of the Hart, pausing to speak briefly to staff to ensure all is ready for Hart's guests and that Lady Lucita has assistance in setting up for her performances. The lady herself is greeted with a warm hug and a little kiss upon the cheek. "Thank you so much for this," she smiles. "If you need anything please let Anna know." She nods to the lovely willowly blonde serving girl who curtsies prettily to Lucita.

Valencia claims this

Larissa makes her way up to the roof as the sound of voices and laughter trickle down like a hymn to the evening waiting for them. The Whisper inclines her head here and there at the myriad of both new and familiar faces - but her violet eyes sparkle into a smile as she spots Valencia and makes her way towards the Princess, falling into a curtsy as she nears. "My congratulations on the anneversery of the Gaming House, Princess. You've truly created something amazing here and I hope you are very proud of that."

Deacon makes his way up to the rooftop area of the Golden Hart. The tall courtesan is dressed immaculately as he usually is. His white silk shirt is laundered and breeches crisp. The stride he makes is confident, unhurried, and poised in the manner that should be expected of a courtesan. After a scan over the balcony with a pleasant expression on his face, he makes his way over to Valencia. "Princess Valencia," he speaks up, his voice warm and cheerful. "Thank you for inviting me. You look positively stunning." He flashes her a more toothy smile before turning his attention to Lucita and greeting her with the same warmth. "Lady Lucita, it's a pleasure to see you tonight." A nods and warm smile of greeting are also conveted to Larissa as she makes her way to the roof as well.

Waldemai pulls up a seat near the fire place and signals for ale.

Lucita replies to Valencia in a soft tone. "Just let me know when you wish me to start. I have a few selections that hope the people here will enjoy that are special for the occasion but can fill in with some old favorites if more is needed." A quick smile is given some of the people she knows and recognizes, the familiar faces seeming to help relax her within the setting. A grin is given Deacon and she says. "I'm no professional like you, just one who loves music and enjoys sharing it with friends. Will try my best tonight and hope people will enjoy and be forgiving if I turn fumble-fingered.

Making their way onto the starlit terrace are a pair of Keatons. Thankfully the couple are minus one newborn child and without the bloodhounds that are typically within their company. It is just Kael and Reigna this evening, the Countess on the Count's arm as is their typical mode of transport, though the young man has a bottle tucked underneath his free arm. "Is it not amazing?" murmurs Kael to his wife as he takes in the atmosphere. There is a moment just spent by way of appreciation and thereafter he ventures forward in search of their host. Spying her amidst people Kael hesitates to approach, though he inclines his head deeply from his position for the moment.

Cirroch is dressed in all red silks with a sleeveless tunic and a large black leather belt. On his large exposed mahogany arm is the very lovely Princess Sasha. They walk out on the the roof terrace and into the gardens. "Oh, never been up here," he says to his beautiful companion.

Luis laughs as his sister blames him for everything and he leans over to whisper something in her ear before moving away to see who is all here. There's a pause as he sees the hostess and her entourage, following the flow of greeters and well wishers and he pauses so that he can give the princess a kiss upon the cheek and whisper something, before stepping back, taking her hand and saying loud enough for others to hear, "What a truly spledid event. I shall look forward to everything you have to offer this fine evening."

Sasha looks nervous up to the roof terrace before she says to Cirroch "We could adventure up there if you wished it Marquis, just never been up that high is all." And she steps in a bit closer to Cirroch, her hands resting in the crook of his arm as she looks back up to the terrace.

Reigna enters on her husband's arm, and she is positively *glowing*. She moves with a grace and pride that is only accentuated by the stunning gown she wears. Green seasilk is contrasted with darkest umbra, and within that blackest fabric, an artist's brush has painted life-like flowers that seem to move as she does. Her hair, which has never, ever, been seen down, is drawn back, a nest of curls captured within silver netting, studded with opals. Two locks have been left free to fall down the front of her shoulders, the dark locks blending in with her skirts. She looks around in obvious appreciation, leaning in against Kael and murmuring a breathless, "It is remarkable. Princess Valencia never fails to take my breath away."

Deacon exhales a bout of pleasant laughter in response to Lucita's words and drifts towards the woman briefly to aside to her in good humor. Conspiratorially, he blocks one side of his mouth with his hand as he stage-whispers to her. "As a professional, I wait until everyone's far too drunk to care." This is accompanied by a good-natured wink before he turns to watch as other people begin to arrive.

The little vixen smile graciously to Larissa and offers a little hug. "You are so very sweet and I am so glad to see you here. Thank you so much for bringing such a lovely presence to our event. Please let us get you a drink. I think tonight it made for such things," Valencia smiles and nods warmly as Deacon arrives. "Good evening, sir. I am so glad you are here! And you are far too honeny tongued," she teases. "I was hoping you'd come," she nods as Deacon finds his way to greet Lucta . turning she smiles brightly as the Keatons arrive, both getting a warm hug and welcome. "Thank you for being here. I think I might burst with excitement. Please bear with me as I greet everyone, yes?"

"Princess," Cirroch says looking to Sasha, "are you afraid of heights?" He puts his hand on hers as he leads her over toward Valencia. "Good evening, Your Highness," he says toward her. He then looks toward Lucita and smiles to her. "Good to see you again, Lady Lucita."

Larissa returns Valencia's hug and then steps away, knowing well the rigors of a hostess to her party. She passes a wink to the Princess as she turns away and idles herself up to Deacon "I'm afraid I had to leave before we had a chance to be introduced. I am Larissa Whisper of Whisper House, a delight to make your aquaintence" she offers to the other Courtesan before her smile turns to Lucita "My Lady, I am so looking forward to hearing you play - might we get you situated with someting to drink as you ready your instruments?" she asks lightly whilst looking for the drinks table

As Cirroch and Sasha arrive the little southrn princess goes to meet them with another bright and beautiful smile. "Marqie, Princess, welcome to my Hart. I am so thrilled you were able to come after all. I hope you are feeling well, your highness," Valencia smiles sweetly, gently touching her arm. "If you should need anything, please ask. My Hart is yours."

Sasha offers a nervous smile to Cirroch as she softly says "I... may be." Her eyes glancing down before she immediately turns away and cuddles in close to him, trying to hide the height from her eyes. She looks to Valencia and says "Good evening Princess Valencia. And I am well enough just might be in need of some tea is all." She then says to Cirroch "And perhaps seating more in the middle?"

Lucita laughs at Deacon's comment. "If there had been more time, I may have been tempted to drink enough to not care about a reaction." She then says to Cirroch "OH, you did get here. Am so glad to see you and Princess Sasha. It helps to be round people I know." To Larissa she says as she gives a warm smile. "It is good to see you again."

"Indeed," murmurs Kael by way of agreement to his wife. Now, when their gracious host approaches them to offer forth a hug and welcome, Kael inclines his head once more, though this time it skirts the line of a bow. He lifts his free arm and offers a gentle, perhaps little awkward, pat on Valencia's back in turn to the hug. "Enjoy the moment," he informs her, flashing an easy sort of grin her way when he withdraws. That bottle that was tucked under his arm, he starts to offer it to her -- but instead he turns partially to one of the attendants on staff to request that they give it to her highness when she is less occupied. Kael is good, he is not bogging down the hostess. Turning back to his wife, his arm is offered once more and he murmurs, "Shall we?" to venture further into the party.

Deacon smiles brilliantly again to Valencia in response to her words. The tall courtesan gives a final reassuring smile to Lucita before moving over to properly greet the hostess. When he approaches Valencia, he smiles warmly and leans to attempt to place a chaste kiss upon the side of her cheek in greeting. "I'm delighted to be here, your Highness. While I'm here entirely as a guest, I am at your disposal should you require any assistance." To Larissa, he turns and offers a warm smile. "Deacon Pateris of Setarco, courtesan of House Pravus," he returns the introduction while offering a hand to her. "It's an honor to meet you, Mistress Larissa."

Reigna grins to Valencia and returns the hug with a sweet smile and a kiss to the Velenosan Princess' cheek. "Thank you so much for having us, this place is amazing! Do your duty in greeting and then come say hello, will you? It has been too long since we've had the pleasure of your company, dear friend." There is a smile and Reigna leans into Kael as teh PRincess departs to continue her rounds.

Amongst all the other guests a certain Lower Borough's inhabitant filters into the celebration; shoulder length hair slicked back, with golden beards decoration the ends of nurmerous braids throughout his beard, with watchful brown eyes roaming the scene before him. Theodoric keeps to the edges of the gathering for the time being, huddled into the knee-length coat he wears, while booted feet sound upon the ground with every step he takes.

Cirroch smiles to Lucita's instruments and then looks to Sasha. "Looks like Lady Lucita will be playing some music," he says as he leads her toward the center of the roof to some secluded seating. He taps a servant on the way and procures some tea for Sasha. "Here you go, my love."

Valencia nods and smiles again, ushering Cirroch and Sasha to a comfortable seat by the fire, and Master Waldemai. "Master Waldemai, thank you so much for coming. I will let the girls know you are here. I am so happy to see you," the little fox chimes brightly. "Have you met the Marquis of Sannah and his lovely lady Princess Sasha?" she graciously introduces them. Turning she nearly bumps into Deacon, but the graceful courtier seems ready for her. His little kiss seems to cause her cheeks to flush, "You are so very kind," she smiles up at the handsome man. "I... I will keep this in mind, but truly, that you enjoy yourself is all that I wish, sir," she nods again, gently excusing herself to properly greet Kael and Reigna, returning the countessa's kiss with one of her own. "I am so glad you like it. I think we should have a brunch up here one morning, yes?" Dark eyes light up as Kael offers her a gift and she nearly bounces. "My dearest count, you and your lovely Countess spoil me. Don't stop," she teases playfully.

Sasha smiles to Lucita as she says "And it is wonderful to see you as well Lady Lucita, I did not know you played. I look forward to hearing it." She smiles to Waldemai as she says "I do not think we have met before. I am curious as to what your trade is. Could you please enlighten me?"

Waldemai gets up and bows when the hostess identifies him. "Of course, your highness. I wouldn't miss the party, nor Lady Lucits'a playing, either."

Caprice is wearing something silk, but strangely does not make actual objects for herself. Caprice allows her long copper-gold hair to fall free behind her as the wind plays with it. There is that almost un-natural grace about her movements as she comes into the area. The clothier is not always one for parties, but this is /Valencia's/ party, so she has to give it up to the House. Her dress is very 'Caprice'. It looks like flames at the bottom and then the top looks like ice where the middle ends in a war between the two. She stands back to let Valencia get greeted by the masses, not having the urge to rush the woman. Then... then there is free time. Which means Caprice is on it LIKE A BOSS. She sweeps over to Valencia and puts up her arms. It's not an embrace though, she attempts to guide her into a sweeping dance and then will try to 'dip' the poor woman. Hey if there's kissing in that dip, it's hidden very well. Velenosa know all about how to cover up their actions. Of course, Caprice will also dissolve in a fit of giggles. "It is a wonderful party you are hosting. I am sorry that I have not yet been to your Hart, but you know.. once you've seen ..." She trails off with a wink. "Really, it's commissions. I've been crafting art, but nothing as moving as your butt in that dress, Darling." Etiquette lessons. She may need them.

After giving his greeting to Valencia, Luis turns, the gold and copper feathers of the firebitd upon his chest flashing in the lanternlight. He wears a small smile as he moves away from the greeting area, wandering around slowly to look at the various things that have been placed within the room. Familiar voices can be heard and Luis raises his eyes to nod to Cirroch and Sasha, then again to Deacon and Waldemai, while continuing on, casually passing others without vocal greeting, but small nods and bows.

Fashionably late and last to arrive, for now at least, is the Lady Regla Navegant, sans weapons and sans guards but dressed in her normal attire of corset, leather pants and boots, and stygian jewlery. She enters the terrace and takes a moment to glance over the people present with her icy blues. For now, she decides to remain quiet and just, people watch.

Larissa flashes a warm smile at Lucita "And you as well" she murmrus before stepping back and nodding towards Deacon "The pleasure is mine, surely" she insists as she takes his hand. "I'm always so pleased to see Courtesans of other houses." she smiles before stepping back and enjoying the beautiful dresses and glowing lights from the lantern. She lets herself relax among the familiarty of parties and delights in watching Valencia flitter through her little kingdom like a shooting star.

Waldemai is taken by surprise by another royal personage, Princess Sasha. "Excuse me, your highness," he says, because he was talking over her. It's that ale thing. "I'm an armor smith, your highness. Lady Calypso brought me up from Southport to work on the clan armor. Got a shop over to Southport Square."

Cirroch waves to Luis and then looks toward Waldemai. "Armor smith, hm?" he says. "Well, pleasure to make your acquaintance. Tell me, what do you think of that Southport heist? I've been hearing about it all day."

Sasha nods to Waldemai and she says "Well met. And intriguing." She then curiously looks between Cirroch and Waldemai as she softly says to Cirroch "Marquis, that may not be proper to talk of such things at a party. I am sure that is a troubling matter and not something one wishes to think upon when trying to have a bit of fun hmmm?"

There is a bright bubble of laughter as Caprice sweeps the little vixen into her embrace and the kiss is happily returned. "My sweetest Caprice," Valencia laughs playfully as she gracefully unfurrows with appropriate aplomb. "How lovey you should come. You have been missed. I suppose you shall just have to make it up to me," the little princess feign false wounding before laughing lightly and hugging her again. "I'm so very glad you are here. Please get a glass and I will start the performances," Valencia beams.

Waldemai is being put on the spot, and he fiddles with his cap. Fortunately the princess bails him out. He waits until no one is looking at him and switches to, "Whiskey, plaease."

Given that his wife happens to be wearing a gown with a skirt painted to conjure imagery of the gardens, it is little surprise that Kael happens to be guiding her toward that very lush garden seating that is available. "I do hope that I am invited," he remarks concerning brunch, his lips twitching in a mild manner before he attends to the matter of helping Reigna take a seat. He shall claim a spot next to her, turning at this point to look out across those gathered. He inclines his head yonder to the Marquis Cirroch, his date similarly nodded toward and looks on. When his sights fall upon Regla, his focus lingers a while and he is thereafter tipping his head before murmuring something to Reigna. Count Keaton is not too subtle, he was most definitely pointing the other woman out to his wife.

Kael has joined the lush garden seating.

Reigna has joined the lush garden seating.

Caprice gives a large and friendly smile towards Valencia as she bumps her shoulder against hte woman and drops her voice to a whisper. Whatever she's saying, it's full of mirth as her eyes are filled with it. Then she reaches out to pat 'lower' on Valencia's 'ass'ets, but she lets the woman continue with her party. "I'll save you a glass... maybe." Those humor filled eyes fall on.... LUIS. That's right, she looks to Luis. "You... Luis isn't it? It is lovely to see you again. Are you going to entertain us as well?"

Deacon bows properly in his gentlemanly fashion to try to kiss the back of Larissa's palm. While he does so with flourish and gusto, he's just as quick to relinquish her hand. "And I, to stand in awe of the loveliest Whisper," he speaks in his warm and gracious tone. "I am certain there is a world of things we can learn from one another." Deacon's pleasant smile grows as he looks to Valencia again and addresses her with his same cheery manner. "I enjoy entertaining, of course," he tells her. When Caprice arrives, Deacon conveys a smile to her as well. "And Mistress Caprice! I'm glad to see that you could make it this evening. You look amazing in that dress, darling." To her, he gives a flourish of a bow as well.

Cirroch lets out a sigh and nods his head looking from Waldemai toward Sasha. "I suppose you're right, Princess," he says with a half smile. He looks back toward Waldemai and bows his head. "It was a pleasure," he says before leading Sasha off toward garden seating. He spots Kael and inclines his head.

Cirroch has joined the lush garden seating.

As she is guided to the garden seating, Reigna is so very careful with her skirts as she sits. When Kael points to Regla, she looks that way, her eyes widening a little and her smile growing. There is definite interest there as she speaks to her husband. As Cirroch joins them, she looks up at him and waves.

After spending some time on the outskirts of the gathering, Theodoric finally spies the hostess of the event and begins to make his way over. Waiting a polite distance away while Valencia is busy being greeted by others, the Lowers rogue takes it upon himself to swipe a glass of wine from a passerby who doesn't seem to appreciate the loss of drink, that is until a narrowing of the eyes and a subtle, yet threating look are given. And then it's back to waiting.

Sasha has joined the lush garden seating.

Luis is busy examining one of the couches and so he does not seem to catch Caprice's comments towards him at first. There's a moment where his hand twitches and he turns as though to order something from a server, when he finds himself face to face with Caprice. "Ah... right, well hello there.. and you were asking after me, right? I am Lord Luis Igniseri, yes, and you...? You do seem familiar, you will have to forgive me, it has been a week for forgetting names," he smiles, his head nodding as his hand raises and a server appears. "Whiskey, and just keep them coming," he offers to the server, giving them a smile before they are off and Luis can focus his attention back upon Caprice, "It is a marvelous party, yes," he offers back to her, perhaps thinking she had asked a question that he had overheard from elsewhere.

Sasha easily moves over to the lush garden seating and slips into a seat at the table. A warm smile is given to Reigna and Kael as she and Cirroch join them.

It is a beautiful, warm summer night and the stars are out in full force, shining down on the newly opened rooftop gardens of the Hart. Gracefully clad in storm grey silks cut daringly low in the back that embrace enticing curves, Valencia sweeps to the center of the dance floor. With a warm and gracious incline of her head she offers radiant and affectionate smile to those gathered for the celebration.

"My lords and ladies, misseres and madams, dearest friends, please be welcome to my Hart. As ever, tonight is a night to raise spirits, to relax and to enjoy excellent company with good food, excellent entertainment and a strong drink or two, well, hopefully more," she smiles playfully, her honey smooth voice ringing clearly across gathered crowd.

"Tonight we celebrate the first year of opening our Hart with the opening of our Starlight terrace and roof gardens. We are so very grateful to be a meeting place for all of Arx and to be able to raise spirits and much needed funds for good causes. Since our opening we have helped so very many thanks to your ongoing support. We cannot say enough how much this means to us and what a difference we can make together. Thank you with all our hearts.”

”And thank you for joining us tonight. Thank you for your kindness and for filling our Hart with the greatest of cheer and good will. Thank you for all you do to make our realm and lives so beautiful. We hope you will enjoy the festivities and that you will fill our Hart for many years to come. Now, let us all come together to enjoy the evening and some beautiful music played by the lovely Lady Lucita Igniseri. Wishing you and yours an abundance of life, luck and love. Again, thank you, everyone! I am so blessed to know you all.”

Valencia steps away and offers the floor with nod to Lucita and promptly slips into the gathered crowd to seek out a drink for herself.

Lucita checked charm + performance at difficulty 15, rolling 53 higher.

Lucita mingles cheerfully with the crowd till Valencia mentions her playing then moves over to the hammer dulcimer and runs fingertips over the strings, checking one final time that it is in tune. After a pause she looks over the people gathered and gives a beguiling smile. "This is an anniversary party and celebration, not just a concert, so as I play for this occasion, if the mood should strike you, feel free to dance, sing if are agile-minded enough to compose lyrics on the fly for instrumentals. Join in for the fun of it! I'll start off with a song composed as an instrumental for the dulcimer. I call this one 'The Gathering'." With that said she starts to tap out a series of notes with just one of the hammers and repeats it in a quick flow to establish a base rhythm suitable for dancing. The second hammer joins in in a playful flow of notes that has a catchy beat. While the rhythm of the song never changes, representing a stable base for the music, melody notes periodically add small variations. One who has an understanding of music might extrapolate from the song title and its composition that it represents a variety of people gathered for a common purpose.

Caprice allows her smile to engulf Luis for a few moments. "It is a fabulous party because of Valencia. If she were not here, it would only be a so-so party." She turns a bit as there is attention to the woman. There is a low, long, wolf whistle from the girl as she claps for the woman. However, she is completely entralled in Deacon when she hears the word, 'Darling'. Those bright green gemstone eyes of Caprice's simply light up for the courtesan. "The love of my life!" She announces to him and reaches out both hands for his own. "Come.. let me be your first dance of the many you will have tonight. I knew you were here, for my heart found that missing puzzle piece that you carry with you always." Her voice drops to Deacon's low and steady too.

Luis gets lucky Golden Hart charm from small wood chest.

Sasha gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Reigna gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Waldemai nods along with the song. Tone deaf he may be, but as a smith he understands rhythm.

Caprice gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Cirroch gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

It is a good thing that Caprice had found Deacon, Luis having already moved away from that conversation while the woman's attantion was on Valencia's speech. There's a small smile as the Igniseri Rogue moves to the chest and quickly spots something slightly different than the rest, popping it up with a flick of his thumb he reads the back of the charm before tucking it away. That done, he smiles as the server catches up to him, finally Luis has a drink and with that he toasts the end of Valencia's speech with a raise of his glass, attempting to make eye contact before sipping his whiskey. Casual walking has him moving around the perimeter of the room, pausing near Lucita as she starts to ready herself for the first song. A whisper to his sister, but then he moves back away, giving the musician her space.

Larissa gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Deacon gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Regla gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Regla has joined the lush garden seating.

Kael gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Regla makes her way through the grouping of people and joins those already seated in the lush garden area. She chooses again, to remain silent and listen to the music being played by Lucita. She leans back against the seating and crosses her legs, folds her arms and closes her eyes.

Larissa smiles to Deacon when his lips brush against the back of her hand "I'm certain we could" she agress with a little twinkle in her eye "Though you are clearly a charmer" she teases just as Lucita begins to play and she falls silent as the music echoes around them beautifully. She nods her head to Deacon before she moves away to mingle in the crowd, nodding and smiling and offering greetings and congratulations as they were warranted. A glance is given to Theodoric as he swipes someone elses drink, but as it wasn't her she can't be too put out, merely lifts a teasing brow and raises her glass in silent toast.

The most lovely music floats across the rooftops compliments of Lady Lucita's agile hands and the little vixen smiles, offering a little nod to Luis as she slips though the crowd to finally properly greet Theodoric. "Missere, welcome to my Hart. Thank you again for coming," she smiles brightly, glancing over to ensure that guest whose drink was liberated is properly cared for. Turning back she smiles again, "Please, if you want for anything, please ask. So, what do you think of my Hart so far?"

Sasha has left the lush garden seating.

Sir Rodrick, a Valardin Knight have been dismissed.

Spirit, the Sleepy Brown Fox have been dismissed.

Echo, the Energetic Arctic Fox have been dismissed.

Deacon listens intently to Valencia as she makes her opening announcements for the party. Staying silent and subdued for the time, he bobs his head in a gentle nod. "Hear hear!" he cheers out at the end in high spirits. "Thank you for hosting such a lovely party, Princess Valencia." Caprice's words have him laughing in good spirits as well, looking upon the woman with mirth. "Are you sure you couldn't go further over the top?" he teases with a deadpan expression and a smile. "I'll be happy to join you for a dance shortly." The man's smile goes playful and he quirks a brow upwards just a touch in response to her whispered words, though he simply smiles and winks at her in response. Turning again to Larissa, the tall, dark-haired courtesan conveys that playful and flirtatious look her way. "Oh do be careful, sweet Whisper. You are quite dangerously close to admitting being charmed." Deacon's rich, dark-brown eyes dance with no small amount of playfulness.

Luis watches the few later wanderers enter and there's a small nod for Regla before the Lady goes to join the others. He'll sip his whiskey with a pleased little smile upon his lips as his head tilts to better capture the music that is being played by his own sister. Walking slowly, all the while attempting not to be drawn into the dance that the music summons, he eventually arrives near Waldemai, "Ah, Master Smith, it is good to see you out again, and healthy as ever," he adds, giving the man a small salute in the process. "Let's get you another whiskey," he offers, hailing a server so that he can also replace his own drink, handing back an empty cup and seeing that Waldemai's is filled as well.

Giuseppe, a kindly old man arrives, following Luca.

An roguish grin is flashed as Theodoric spies the look given to him, before raising his glass in response to toast with Larissa. After the little exchange the Lower's king turns those brown eyes of his upon Valencia, cheers her with his glass before speaking, "Thank you for having me, my dearest Vixen. Your Hart is almost as lovely as yourself, but not quite."

Luis is overheard praising Lucita for: For such wonderful music finally played in public at the Golden Hart's anniversary.

Caprice lofts her brows a bit to that. "Yes... yes.. I think I could." The clothier claps her hands for Lucita's playing as she holds her position for now. Then she opens her mouth, perhaps she was going to say something far more over the top before she just closes her mouth. The male courtesan's attention has already moved on. So she finds a whiskey instead. Her green eyes move over the party at large.

Waldemai is glad to hear from someone who doesn't want to hear from Southport, and it shows. "Thank you, my lord," he says to Luis. "I've had one but another would would follow it well." He gestures with the empty glass. "Lady Lucita sings well and plays wondefully, would you say?"

Cirroch bows his head toward Reigna and Kael after Sasha whispers something to him. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Countess. And it was nice to see you again, Count," he says. He then leads Sasha out of the party. She must've taken ill.

Luis chuckles at Waldemai's words and it is in good humour, "She does indeed, though I'm supposed to say that, I'm her brother. Something, something, house loyalty in public, something something. You know how it is?" Luis asks, but then stops, "As it would be with your crafter's guild I am sure." Luis recovers, giving the man a nod and then drinking more of his recently acquired drink. "I will let her know just how much you think of her playing, but she actually /is/ talented and well learned, that's the rub," the last said with an affectionate grin in Lucita's direction.

Cirroch has left the lush garden seating.

"No, no. Thank you for being here. I'm so very happy you could attend. I must admit, I have thought often of our first meeting," she nods sweetly to Deacon. "Perhaps we might prevail upon you to play for us sometime, yes?" There is another flush of cheek as Theodoric offers his compliments, I am so honoured you would think so highly of my Hart. I hope this means we will see more of you then," Valenica says, taking a moment to glance out at the happy faces and pausing to lift her glass to Lucita as she plays.

Waldemai considers what Luis has said. "Well, perhaps a master, my lord. An apprentice, on the other had..." He think about it. "If an apprentice bard has the skill of an apprentice smith, I might let one play in a tavern, late at night, to drive the last few laggards away.

Deacon also listens to Lucita's playing, letting his eyes drift over towards her. The melody brings a warm smile to his lips and a light anew to his eyes. He does begin clapping in time with the tune, having a fantastic sense of rhythm himself. As she plays faster, his brows raise with a more impressed expression. With a look to Valencia, he smiles widely and gives her words some thought. "Well, certainly," he says. "I'm sure to play something and likely sing loudly as I become more wine-soaked. Do remember that you saked for it though, Your Highness." He laughs, his eyes still shining with that same carefree mirth.

Late at some point just becomes late and not stylishly late. Then again, people rarely accuse Luca the Lazy of particular style. Still, he was there when Val opened the place, and so in turn does it seem he's here to celebrate her anniversary of it. He's, in fact, bringing even more to the celebration, by way of the ever-swift Sparte. In are the two warriors gliding in, Luca laughing to something as he slaps the younger man on the back heartily. As he arrives, he's pausing to look about the decorations and gathering with big, lopsided grin before making a bee-line for the hostess after gesturing to Sparte where he's going, either abandoning or dragging along as the case may be. In either way, the Velenosan-turned-Grayson is spreading his arms wide as he approaches Valencia, declaring for his cousin effusively. "Val, love. You've outdone yourself. I didn't even know you had this place hidden up here. It's beautiful!" He drags her into a big hug, laying quick kiss along her cheek.

Larissa smirks to Deacon "Almost... " she teases with the dimple in her cheek deepening "Almost..." she taps the side of her nose. A glance is given to Waldemei as she overhears him praising Lucita and the Whisper cannot help but smile her agreement "Angels could sing no sweeter, I am awed. I could listen for hours and hours" she croons, clearly appreciating the skill the woman has with her craft.

Luca gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Regla has left the lush garden seating.

As the song goes on and Luis' foot keeps a tapping, he chuckles, "She's still got several refrains left and the beauty is, I know where this is going," he explains to Waldemai, then offers the man his glass, still over half full, "I won't hold it against you if you finish this off before I return," it's permission as any, then he nods, "Seems like a wise move, but please, forgive me," he says, as he quickly turns and heads across the floor, making a bee-line for the Princess, though he's forced to stop a moment as she is greeted by the arriving Luca and Sparte. Luis' eyes lingering a moment upon the others, giving them nods in turn. "A fine evening indeed, I should hope that everyone will stay a while and enjoy themselves, and I do hope that the rest of you shall forgive me while I steal our hostess for a quick dance?" Luis offers to the others, extending a hand to Valencia, "Dear Princess, would you care for a dance?" he asks he sweetly and with that roguish smile.

Lucita gets Welcome to My Hart from a feminine carryall with colorful quilted padding.

Caprice has shockingly fallen silent as she listens to the music and watches the people move. Her eyes stray to Valencia for a moment as she casts the woman a bright smile. For now though, she has whiskey.

Sparte walks along with Luca, grinning in amusement as he tags along with good spirit. He has a sprig of rosemary tucked behind the right wing of his helmet today, which he opts to work on removing as they get into the party proper. "This place seems bigger every time I visit. At this rate the King'll be jealous that you have a nicer house." He drops the helmet onto a hook at his belt just for that purpose, rubbing his fingers through his hair rapidly before pushing it back into a slightly-less-cowlicked attempt at looking decent. He glances over to Luca, sniffing a moment and giving one of the lanterns a distracted look, as though noticing something odd. He shrugs it off, having forgotten whatever he was about to go on about.

The little vixen pauses as if sensing something thin the air and she turns to see your beloved cousin arrive arms open. Without hesitation she loses all decorum and leaps up into his arms nearly upsetting them both. "LUCA!!" she cries as she wraps her arms around him in a tight sqeeze. "You are here! I cannot believe you are here!" She hugs him again and then again for good measure, pressing an joyously affectionate kiss to his cheek. "God, I am so happy to see you. You look so well. Come, I should like you to meet... oh, Lord Luis. You have such perfect timing," she smiles up at the Lycene lord, "Lord Luis, my most beloved cousin, Luca, and of course, Missere Sparte. Thank you for coming," she says remembering her manners. Turning back to Luis she nods, "And yes, my sweetest Lord Luis, I would love to dance. Please pardon me, gentlemen," the little fox smiles as she moves to Luis' side for what she hopes will be the first of many dances tonight.

Valencia has joined the dance floor.

Deacon procures himself a drink at some point while he's speaking with Valencia. He lifts the glass up part way and smiles again warmly to Larissa. "I'll get more charming as I consume more wine. Or that's how I always seem to remember it, anyhow." The smile grows briefly to a bright white one before he too turns to regard Lucita pleasantly. "You play beautifully," he says, bringing his hands together in applause. "You also have far more command over that instrument than you lead me to believe." The courtesan asides another smile to Caprice as she seems to have procured herself some whiskey. "Caprice, why don't you drink your whiskey over here and join the conversation, mm?"

Lucita grins at Deacon as she says. "Easier for me to play than some of the keyboard instruments. My hands would tire and we'd always return to the dulcimer so I had extra time on it to learn." She smiles at those gathered and says "For the next song of the evening I need your help. An anniversary deserves a song, sooooo..." She draws the word out in a humourous way. "...please join me in singing this song. If you want bragging rights, It has never been sung in public before and each of you will have the chance to say they were the very first one to do that! Well, if you join in, that is. If you can't sing, just say some of the parts you like best when that bit is being played." She has one of the Hart servers pass out lyric sheets while she leaves the dulcimer and readies her lute. <<ooc Please look Welcome to My Hart to view the lyrics, they are too spammy to just sing them out and pose at will whatever you would ic do.>> She pauses a few moments longer then begins to play and sing the song.

Lucita drops Welcome to My Hart.

Luis has joined the dance floor.

Caprice smiles at Luca and Valencia's greeting. Her lips curve up more than just a little. Caprice likes happiness in all forms of it. The words spoken to her by the courtesan cause her to look up at him and then she just smiles a bit more. "OF course.." When there is talk of the crowd singing along, she smiles again. Her eyes slide over the various people as she runs a hand over her silken dress. Then she looks towards Deacon, "And what are we discussing?" She is far less over the top and seems to be a bit more subdued, even if she's brightly smiling at everyone.

"Oh Lu and I go a ways back. Be good to my beloved cousin, eh?" Luca offers out to Luis with a grin and easy wave to the man as he lets Valencia down from the impromptu decorum-scrambling tackle-hug. He can't help but offer out after to the Lycene man, faux-whispered to tease her. "Do mind your feet though." He winks to Valencia and leaves that comment _just_ open enough to be warning of stepping on her, or warning of being stepped on, however they wish to take it. Laughing then to see her head off, perhaps at something she offered him before parting, he turns back to the one he dragged here, asking of Sparte "Drinks? Or seek out something food-like?" He's off towards refreshments of either sort, turning attention to the music being sung, flashing teeth in grin of appreciation for it. "Never does anything by half, does she?" he asks back over shoulder to the younger fighter.

Waldemai smiles at the lyrics sheet proffered him and shakes his head. "Just so many scribbles to me, I'm afraid."

"Good evening your highness, and Missere," Luis greets both Luca and Sparte, giving them both a nod, chuckling at the exuberance that Valencia shows in the greeting. "Oh, we do..." Luis offers to Luca's comment, leaving it at that, but smiling none the less. He nods his head, not given much time else to say something further before he has Valencia at his side. A once more, forgivness asking smile and Luis bows before turning to take Valencia's hand and guide her out onto the dancefloor as the music begins to change. He whispers something to Valencia, chuckling and moving with her as the song starts and he'll dance with her throughout the rousing that is likely to begin.

"Oh, I agree," Deacon replies to Lucita, wrinkling the bridge of his nose a little at the mention of keyboard type instruments. "I prefer a bow and strings myself." His smile is warm to her, but then he's paying attention to her instructions for the next song. "I think I can manage that!" With that proclaimed, he looks again to Caprice and smiles brightly to her again. "Mistress Larissa and I were just discussing the intricacies of the inebriation/charm ratio," he jokes, a chuckle shaking easily in his chest. With that said, he turns his attention back to Lucita as she begins playing once more.

Valencia sends a bright smile back Luca's way as she moves to the dance floor. Dark eyes find Reigna and she invites her to join the dancing with a little wave of her hand and another radiant smile. As Lucita introduces the song there is a pause and a look to Luis, "Did she... she wrote this for my Hart?" she asks softly, her eyes widening with surprise. "I am... that is so lovely. I... you have the most lovely sister, my lord," Valencia smiles and then turns to Lucita to place a delicate hand over her heart and to offer a whispered thank you to the lady for the beautiful gift.

Caprice considers this ratio in her mind. "Well ... I happen to think myself charming all the time. WHen I drink..." She holds up the whiskey in her hand as she's drinking. "I find that everyone thinks so too. Or it could be that everyone just becomes a blur of one and I am pretty sure they think that I am charming. I mean what could be more charming than a smiling woman who falls on the floor and then laughs hysterically about it?" Not that it is easy to imagine Caprice falling. She does offer the non-whiskey hand to Larissa though, "Caprice." Her name given as she directs her attention to the woman singing as well.

Luis smiles and nods his head to Valencia's question, his eyes alighting with mirth as he already knows the answers. "Oh she's written this and more for this evening," Luis replies to her, giving her hand a visible squeeze before they slip into a rather jovial dance that involves a lot of moving around the dancefloor. Not at break-neck paces, but it is not a slow song, that is for cetain. He leans in every so often so that the pair can share words in whispered privacy, but the man keeps his lips plastered in that smile that comes from simply enjoying oneself with a beautiful woman. "I do hope you had known she would provide such level of excellence when you asked her to play?" He asks, giving a slight tilt of his head, curious, but knowing, "She will always do more than is asked, so do not worry, this is what she enjoys."

Valencia is overheard praising Lucita for: A song for the Hart! So very touched. Lucita is so very talented and the sweetest and kindest of friends. Thank you so much!

Larissa laughs at Deacon and inclines her head "Yes, that's what most handsome men think after a glass or two. Far be it for me to dissuade you of your delusions though." and she lifts her glass to him in turn before taking a last slip and placing it down. "Princess Valencia, thank you again for hosting yet another delightful party. You are an absolute jewel among us." She turns then to curtsy towards Lucita "And my Lady, you play finer than any I've ever heard. I will look forward to hearing you again in the future. I wish you all an enchanting evening."

Larissa is overheard praising Valencia for: One year and counting! Always such a gracious and attentive hostess!

Reigna is overheard praising Valencia for: A gorgeous party and a generous heart.

Larissa is overheard praising Lucita for: Beauiful and heartfelt music from a true Maestro

A hand dips down to pull the sprig of rosemary from his waist, shaking it to inspect it a moment before he slips it into a pouch and out of sight. He gives a late wave to Luis as he takes Valencia off, blinking after them. "Well he seems a good sort." Eyes back to Luca. "She certainly hasn't, not by half of half." He looks over, nodding a bit to the music while casually commenting towards Luca. "So what is the plan? I don't usually come to these things without being tasked with either stopping them or removing a trouble maker."

Deacon smiles Larissa's way and perks a brow upwards at her when she turns away. Rather than looking dejected, the dark-haired courtesan looks amused. His eyes linger on her a moment or so longer before they turn again to Caprice. "It's something to strive for, at any rate," he replies with some amusement, though he keeps his voice down until the time comes to sing along with Lucita's dedication to the Hart. When he adds his own voice, it only takes him a short time before he's singing in perfect pitch with Lucita.

Reigna appears to be in hushed conversation with her husband, her expression extremely doting when Kael chins towards Valencia. Reigna looks in time to see the invitation and she beams to Valencia and nods. Getting to her feet with a swish of that dazzling painted umbra skirt, those flowers shimmering within that sea of black, and she reaches for Kael's hand, apparently planning on dragging him to the dance floor with her. Those twin locks of her hair that have been left free, fall to her hips, all but vanishing against the black of the umbra skirts as she moves towards the dancefloor and her friend.

Valencia notes the departing Larissa and offers a sweet smile and little wave farewell as she is taken up in Luis' arms. "I only expect the best from your sister, never half measures. I fear we are similar in that regard, but she does is with much more grace than I," she smile up at him. "I am so very grateful to you both for the kindness you have shown me."

Caprice cants her head between Deacon and Larissa. It could be as there was no response to her comments from the woman. Then she glances at the musician. She will /hum/, no one wants to hear Caprice sing. Not her skillset at all. However, she does take a step to the side as she watches the party.

Luis sings along with a couple of the verses that are rather fun, not needing the lyrics which is a sign that he's been listening to his sister put the words together for a time, and then some, for him to have remembered them. He is quiet whenever Valencia speaks, dancing with her as the song moves its way through the verses. There's a nod of his head for Valencia towards Reigna and Kael, "It would seem we've started something," he offers with a laugh, but the dance does not stop so long as Lucita carries on playing. "And we are both very grateful for all that you've offered and helped us with, and for simply allowing us the pleasure of seeking you in your Hart." The last is warm and loud enough that Luis could be including others in his praise.

Luis is overheard praising Valencia for: For a lovely party at the Hart as it ages and grows and for the wonderful directorship that has gotten it there.

Luca has joined the seating by the fire.

Sparte is overheard praising Valencia for: A lovely party with no duels, fights, catastrophic property damage, or similar. I worry for the direction of Arx. Still though, a lovely party.

Kael clearly had no intentions of actually going out onto the dance floor, he was just pointing out the invitation of course. That being said, given the fact that his wife does indeed take his hand in her own, he is thus drug. He rises to his full height and follows along as faithfully as possible, though soon enough the skill of the musician has him dancing with ease.

"Need to drag you out more clearly, Spar." Luca quips as he's reaching refreshments, starting to gather up drink and snacks if there are some to be had. As he does, he's explaining over shoulder. "This is the part where we drink, eat, and be merry, despite all the dark shite in the world. Come on, think I see a spot over by the fire." He's waiting long enough for Sparte to get what he wants to bring, then heading to plop down across from Waldemai with a familiar grin and nod. "Ey Wald. How you been? Oh, cut that shit out! Sit sit, man! Relax! Just Luca whenever I'm here as much as I can get away with it."

Waldemai does sit, and bobs his head toward the fire. "Even in summer, I'm too used to fire to be comfortable far from it."

Reigna takes Kael's hands and slips in close for the dancing to begin. There is a dramatic flare of those painted umbra skirts, and her hair drifts back as she spins. From the look on her face, Reigna is having the time of her life. There is no missing the joy in her expression as she dances with Kael. While neither of them might win any dancing contests, there's little doubt she is enjoying the exercise immensely. The movement of her gown flatters them both, lending a drama to their movements, highlighting the skill with which the garment was made. When they spin close to Valencia, Reigna is calling back, "I will never be able to thank you enough for getting my husband to dance with me!"

Sparte doesn't need to be told twice to load up on snacks. Sparte wiggles his fingers like a child given the keys to the candy shop before getting a plate, then another plate, then a third. He loads them up neatly while balancing them on one arm, clearly taken with an appetite that is immense in the face of petite snacks. With each plate suitably stacked to be a proper meal for an ordinary person and drinks utterly forgotten, Sparte follows after Luca to take a seat and give Waldemai a friendly little wave with his free hand in between eliminating the first of the tiny appetizer based kingdoms to fall.

Sparte has joined the seating by the fire.

Deacon smiles over to Caprice as he watches the lovely woman enjoy her whiskey. Currently focused on backup vocals as he is, he steps over towards her and reaches out in an attempt to take one of her hands. His vocal chords are occupied by doing his best to compliment Lucita's singing, but it's pretty obvious that he's urging the woman to dance with him.

Caprice blinks as if surprised by Deacon's reach. However, for him, she will set aside the whiskey. While Caprice cannot sing, she can dance at a rather impressive level of grace. It's that being very light in frame and on those feet. Her lips curve up just a bit in a teasing manner. "You are just itching for your turn to perform aren't you?" It's not a harsh comment, but the smile is familiar for him. It's almost like this certain smile is his. Although, something hits her emerald eyes and she smoothes the smile away to a just happy one. Her voice is kept low, so as not to interrupt the song.

"You pleasure, my command," Valencia laughs gently to Reigna as she and Kael move closer. "He is a darling for indulging us," she smiles sweetly to Kael as Luis spins her gracefully about. "I adore dancing, I am just grateful that Lord Luis was kind enough to indulge me. He may regret it on the fourth dance," she stage whispers to Reigna. Dark eyes dance as she catches Luca's comment about sparring to Sparte, "If it is sparing you seek, please come and indulge me at our Sunday spars. I would be beyond delighted to see you both there," she gives Luca an impish grin. "I haven't seen you spar in some time. I am forgetting what that looks like," she teases as she turns her bright smile to Lucita and Deacon and their music fills the night.

Luis laughs softly as Valencia maintains the conversations that go on about them even in the midst of the dance, "One of the follies of engaging the hostess in a dance, she shall still be quite involved elsewise," he adds, laughing, but it's in good teasing. He spins her closer to Reigna so that Valencia can have her moment with the couple, then again towards Luca when the conversation takes them that way, but he will move, not fluidly, but with a natural grace that seems useful for things other than just dancing. "Oh, is that your plan, your highness? That I keep you on the floor for the remainder of the evening? While I would of course not deny you, I fear that you also have other admirers who seem interested in asking you to dance," he adds, looking through the crowd as they continue to move along.

Lucita finishes the song and takes a short break from playing and upon her return studies her instruments as if picking which to use next. She sips a swallow or two of wine then reaches out for a vielle, lifting it in place and running the bow over the strings. "I hope everyone is having a good time and is ready for another song. I'm in a mood to dance a little too, but don't want to dance alone. Will someone..." She grins at those gathered. "...or several someones join me?" And she slips into a brisk little song, doing a simple little skip and hop, a spin and a few steps toward Sparte, Luca and Waldemai and smiles in a way intended to entice them to join her. Others would be welcome, of course! << Think Lindsey Stirling for this or the dancing violin player with Celtic Woman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrutzRWXkKs or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MCjU-Du3eI for a vague sort of idea>>

Deacon is very careful not to step on Lucita's vocals, only singing loudly enough to compliment what she's doing. It certainly shows that he's a practiced musician without going big or flashy. This is her song, after all. Playfully, he spins Caprice about in their dancing even as she teases him about performing. The only response she gets is a little more of a smile as a fair bit of his attention is focused on the pitch and tone of Luctia's voice and playing. He dances gracefully and in perfect rhythm with the song. As it ends though, he pauses the dancing with Caprice so that he can bring his hands together in cheerful applause.

Luca's apparently giving introductions at the fire, but catches Valencia's comments his way, laughing and offering back. "I actually just nickname him Spar, love, but yes, I've been terribly slack with all that. Much laying about to do in order to keep my Lazy title that the king gave me officially. Besides, Ribbons is better than me anymore and she represents for me as my student. I'll try to make them more though." When Lucita's approaching with the enticing smile, Luca's winking her way, but turning on Sparte to slap the Guardsman on the back. "You can eat when back, get out there and make with the Merry part. I promised Val a dance, or I'd join her for that smile certainly."

Waldemai is the sort of short, bandy-legged chap ideally suited for hopping dances (plus he is fairly quick on his feet for a muscular chap). He says, "Spar, well met. I shall be back after a turn around the floor with the lady," and puts his whiskey glass aside to join Lucita.

Kael is not the best dancer, but he is not going to embarrass anyone any time soon. That being said, he is most certainly aware of where other people are on the dance floor. When his wife offers over that commentary toward Valencia, he snorts softly and remarks with a grin, "I happened to dance with you at the white ball," he remarks, in a fashion that is more teasing than pointed. Nonetheless he is smiling toward the other couple as they continue their dance near them, and when Luca's turn comes, he does not pursue. There might be a glance cast toward the seating that they came from and the Count, he begins to casually start that way.

As the song comes to a close, Luis gives a small bow og his head to Valencia, leading her to the edge of the dance floor, "I would be the most nefarious of the party, were I to keep you to myself for the evening, so my dear Princess, I must allow myself to relinquish you from my hands, so that you may continue to bring light and lifted hearts wherever you go. Thank you, for the dance, it was quite wonderful," Luis tells Valencia, allowing a moment for reply, and for anyone else to take her into a dance, but then he's moving away, making room for others, and stepping off to follow after Lucita, clearly encouraging others to do the same along the way with each pass of the viellest and the growing line.

Caprice stops as Deacon does. She adds in her own claps for the song that was played and as the other starts. There is a soft laugh at Waldemai's comment and at Luca encouraging 'Spar' out towards the dance as well. Lively music is a good one for a party.

"That was aaaaages ago." Reigna replies with a laugh, slipping closer to her husband, even as he is leading her off the floor and back to their former seats in that lush garden area. She smiles to Valencia as she slides by, and says, "You throw the best parties! You're such an inspiration! I'd love to throw one with you some time!" With that, she slipping back to their spot, eyes falling on the drinks waiting for them. "Oh that looks soooooo good!"

Sparte is a bit distracted with the food he has with him. Very distracted, really. He isn't being messy or making a mess out of the way he eats, but a guardsman apparently does not lack for appetite. He nods distractedly to what Valencia says in his direction, completely missing the bits of Lucita's dance for the benefit of those by the fire. The food'll run out, eventually. Maybe he'll have the good grace not to just get more.

Luis has left the dance floor.

2 Igniseri novice guards leaves, following Lucita.

Lucita leaves, following Luis.

2 Igniseri novice guards arrives, following Lucita.

Valencia gives a little smile as Lucita entices Waldemai to dance, it growing with delight as he seems to be rather spry. "Well me, Master Waldemai," she calls with delight. She smiles at Kael's snort and cants her head just a little, "Was that not nearly three seasons ago?" she asks playfully with a glance to Reigna as she echos her thought. "My sweetest Count, we shall have to work on this. I think we should find opportunities for more dancing, yes, my dearest Countess?" Her cheeks flush at the suggestion of a party hosted for her and she shakes her head, "I'd worry no on would come. But if it will get his lordship dancing more..." she begins turning back to Luis. "Thank you for the dance, my lord," she offers with a graceful curtsy as Luis surrenders her to the floor.

Luca has left the seating by the fire.

Luca has joined the dance floor.

Luca's rising up after downing his drink in one long gulp of a practiced lush, making his way swiftly towards Valencia as Luis is departing. Suddenly she'll be lifted up by the hips and swung out toward the floor while her ebullient cousin is declaring. "My turn!" These two get together and there's just nothing of dignity is there? Kidnapping the hostess in middle of her goodbyes indeed! Once out there, he'll snag a hand, set her down in a spin and suddenly be twirling away to the lively melody being played. Sure, he's not particularly talented a dancer, but the man's smooth as a demon when it comes to grace, and makes do well enough with that.

Lucita's grin and her gaze are lit with mirth as she spins, skirt flaring out so glimpses of lace and satin flicker into view and back out of sight, and way she spins takes her moving along. The steps take her close enough to glance over her shoulder in appreciation for those joining her. She matches steps with Waldemai and gives him a nod, her attention implying that sector of the song is for him then she arches her back, gives a little kick and is away toward any who might join. Music is the main focus of what she done, the steps merely an accompaniment to it. There is not the stamina a true dancer would exhibit but her manner of playing and attempting to make each of those watching or listening involved helps make up for that.

Looking over to Caprice, Deacon finally opens his mouth without melody. "No, no, by the way. This is Lady Lucita's show. I will only perform if asked." The courtesan smiles warmly to her and moves his elbow to try to give her a light and playful nudge. "She's absolutely wonderful, besides. It's nice to be the one being entertained from time to time." Recapturing his wine then, he lifts his glass to Lucita while she plays, saluting her before taking a sip.

"It seems like just yesterday," counters Kael, this time not only to his wife but he happens to raise his voice enough for it to be audible to Valencia again. He is rueful at the females' play, just shaking his head and seeming to be in fine spirits this evening. Once they are actually at their seating, he once more helps his wife be seated and inclines his head. "Hopefully, as I said, you enjoy it." With that commentary he takes his seat next to his wife and reaches for his own simple ale. He'll leave the fruity concoction to her, evidently.

Caprice looks towards the male courtesan when he speaks to her. There is a curve of her lips. "I sat down at the inn today with a stranger and demanded he entertain me." There is a larger curve of her lips in a playful fashion. "I think he shall run the next time he sees me heading in his direction." The nudge is returned with one of her own, though there isn't much oomph behind it. Her hands come up to clap for Luca grabbing Valencia though. "There is something to be said for entertaining. Your party is tomorrow, yes?"

Large dark eyes widen with surprise as she is lifted and there is a little squeak and then a laugh as she is swept up by Luca and onto the dance floor again. A bright and beautiful smile kisses her lips as she throws her arms round Luca and the dance begins. She moves lightly, easily marking and matching his steps as they turn gracefully about the floor, "Gods above and below, I nearly forgot how much fun it is to dance with you," Valencia grins and laughs again as they turn about the floor with practiced grace.

Waldemai bows to Lady Lucita, and says, "Thank you for getting up on my feet, my lady." He returns to his seat by the fire, and his glass of fire water. "That's quite an appetite you have there, Spar," he observes.

Sparte blinks a few times at Waldemai, mouth open with another little morsel of food in hand. He glances around, slowly lowering the food a half inch. "Am... Am I eating too much? Should I, uh, put the last plate back?"

Deacon chuckles warmly in response to Caprice and nods his head in the affirmative. "Very, very likely," he replies to her. His dark brown eyes shift briefly when Luca 'kidnaps' Valencia back onto the dance floor and a brighter laugh flows through him. His attention focuses back on Caprice then to regard her with a smile. "Yes, tomorrow."

Caprice gives a mock pout to Deacon, even as she sort of watches the crowd and gives warm smiles all around to the people. "Am I..." She offers as her green eyes lift to his for a moment. "... such a burden to be around that one should run? Do you feel like fleeing, Dearest?" Then her lips curve a bit more as she offers another low comment to the man near to her.

Lucita says, "My pleasure! Thank you for dancing with me." She says to Waldemai. A few more steps and spins and she is short of breath and back by her instruments. She plays on for those who are still dancing so they have time to enjoy it a while then brings the music to a close, reaching for another sip of wine, dancing is thirsty business. She pauses to murmur to Anna, the Hart server a moment, asking her for a few things. "One last song or enough for the evening, Princess?""

Waldemai shakes his head and chuckles at Sparte's reaction. "That's not for me to say, I'd say. It's Princess Valencia's party." He signals for another whiskey and the ale he promised to the other man earlier. "No, I just meant to break the ice." He holds out a hand. "Waldemai Eisenhu, although I answer to Wald when the Prince is around."

As if in answer to his questions Lizette, a pretty buxom little serving girl arrives with a big smile for Sparte, and an even bigger plate of some the things he seems to like best. She offers him a little wink and clears his other plate away leaving him with an entire new plate to conquer only to be followed by sweet Anna who sees to refilling his, Waldemai's and the others drinks with another little smile and a little bob of her head before slipping off to find more cups to fill.

Valencia smiles as her staff see to her guests comfort and pleasure, giving Lucita a little nod and smile. "Though I hope the party will continue. You have been so kind to perform for us, but now you should be taking time to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere you have created with your music, yes?" the little vixen calls as she happily is swept about the room by the lithe and light-footed Luca.

Deacon's reply to Caprice initially is a low and warm chuckle. "No," he replies. "but you didn't approach me at first meeting demanding entertainment." He playfully smirks at her before turning his own eyes to pan over the crowd of people bustling around the party. His attention also drifts back to Lucita so that he can watch her play, but he leans over towards Caprice to murmur back to her quietly.

Spinning and spinning, narry a toe was trod, Valencia and Luca chatting and catching up as they go, spinning past Lucita to let Val call out to her. Spinning past entry to the roof so she can wave to newcomers and those leaving. Even if he's a lazy bastard most of the time, Luca _does_ seem to have a sense for how to enjoy the hostess' company without completely taking her from her own party.

Calevaro makes his way up onto the terrace garden. He looks around at the new place with amasement. Princess Valencia really made a wonderful job. He takes a moment to wave to her and to Luka, the young soldier taking this time to give waves and smiles to all the other people

Caprice allows her lips to creep upwards a bit as she watches the man she's talking to. Her eyes slide to Lucita as she plays and as the music comes to an end. Her lips curve a bit more as she offers a soft word to Deacon. To be fair, Caprice is rarely without a smile or that sparkle in her eyes.

Sparte looks at all the food in front of him, glancing between it and Waldemai a few times before glancing after the serving girl. "I, uh, hrmm." He tosses the piece he was holding into his mouth, chewing it thoughtfully. After he swallows he gestures to the plate. "Do you, uh, want to snag any of this? If they're going to drop more food on top of me, well... I was hungry, yes, but I'm not bottomless."

Lucita gestures toward Deacon. "If you and your lovely companion would like, use one of the instruments up here while I use the dulcimer and will play one of the challenge exercises my old tutor used. It makes a lively little quick-stepped song and other instruments just add to it. Or just listen if you prefer. And my thanks to all who sang and danced with me this evening. Much more fun for you and me both since this is a party." Anna brings an assortment of objects to Lucita and hands them over to her.

Calevaro starts to slowly move towards the food. He spots Sparte, giving the other man a friendly wave.

With a vaulted brow, Deacon gives Caprice a sort of curious look, but then looks back out over the party. He looks like he's about to answer her, but then he's addressed by Lucita. The courtesan smiles graciously to her and gives a humble dip of his head. "It would be and honor," he replies to her. Raising a hand then, he spins his finger about and then dramatically points to her rather lovely vielle and bow. He then moves to take the instrument up and tuck it to the crook of his arm. "At your service, my Lady." Again he bows, cueing Lucita to begin the song and choose the tempo.

Waldemai shakes his head at Sparte. "No, no more food, or if you want more you can do for yourself. I just thought a mug of ale would go down well with that."

Kael continues to indulge in conversation with his wife, just sipping his ale as she enjoys -- is that the second beverage of hers? Whatever the Count ordered for her, however, has a combination of fruit with the liquor and so it likely goes down quite smooth for the Oathlander. Though he is intent on the conversation at hand, he glances back across the party as a whole, focus pausing on this or that person curiously before he resumes speaking with Reigna.

Caprice looks up as Deacon starts to answer her and then does not. It causes something to cross her eyes for a brief moment. In fact, her smile is slightly more forced in that moment before Lucita speaks. There is a chuckle. "Oh Gods, I hope you mean as the companion I watch. I have never touched an instrument outside of sewing craft and one does not desire to hear me sing." She will come over, as she was invited. But she does have that mock horror look before she winks to Lucita.

Waldemai goes on, "Well, it was good to meet you, Spar. I've drunk and danced myself under the table, I'm afraid." Waldemai offers his thanks and congratulations to Valencia and then staggers somewhere unsteadily down the stairs and out, and is last seen heading in the direction of Southport Square.

Waldemai has left the seating by the fire.

Sparte manages to spot Calevaro's wave, returning it in turn. He gestures to one of the other seats by the fire by way of invitation. A glance is spared for those on the dance floor before Sparte looks down to the food left with him and... Well, returns to eating. Admitting he has a limit doesn't mean he has hit it yet.

Lucita nods to Deacon and gives those who want to dance time to find partners and take the floor. As she waits she lifts items brought to her to show to others. There is a pair of hairpins, two drink stir-sticks, a pair of narrow leather bracelets, forks, and bone chips someone's dog was reluctant to give up. "A dulcimer makes different sounds when played with different hammers or items. So for your amusement..." She indicates Deacon with a smile. "...we're going to play the same short song several times and I'll use different hammers for each of them. She signals Deacon as she plays a note to start then drops into the melody and sings an amusing song about a mix-up in messenger deliveries and the unexpected reactions of those receiving the wrong gifts. Each repeat of the song features a different gift and is played with a different item that causes the same melody to have a change in tone. <<ooc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quX45zJmxpA One very long youtube has toothbrushes, salad tongs, botles, tools, ping pong paddles etc. playing but will not inflict that on anyone. This will give you sort of the tune being played.)

The little dark haired princess couldn't be happier spinning about the dance floor as seem to catch up with each other in little whispers and smiles. Dark eyes catch sight of Calevaro as he arrives and he his offered a bright smile and warm incline of head as she is turned about the floor once more. Slowly spinning, the dance comes to a close and the little vixen jumps up to ethusiastically hug Luca with all her might. "If you do not come to dance with me again soon, I shall be very cross with you, my most beloved Luca. You do not wish to vex me," she teases playfully and hugs him again, dropping lightly to the floor. Cheeks flushed, dark eyes dancing she smiles, "Thank you for being here. So so much."

Valencia claims this

"Now thats a show of skill, lady Lucita!" Calevaro exclaims, as he starts to make his way towards Sparte. "Good evening!" He says cheerfully, moving to sit beside the other man. He glances at the dance floor for a moment, before his atention returns to Sparte. "I hope you are well?" He asks curiously.

After a kiss on the cheek and a warm hug, Luca's spinning Valencia to the edge of the dancefloor and setting her free again to her other guests. "Thank you as ever, love and no, I'd never wish your vexation. We'll definitely arrange that dinner one of these nights." With that, he's slipping off towards Wald and Sparte again, plopping down and grinning as he takes up his plate from earlier if not taken away by servants. "Has there been merry-making yet, Spar? Or is the eating and drinking enough for you? Baby steps into making you a party-goer yet!"

The tete-a-tete in the garden area betweent the Keaton couple seems oddly... tense? There is a little distance and Reigna holds her glass close to her chest before taking a very long drink. She sways slightly in time with the music played. She looks to Kael and nods, murmuring something to him before lifting her glass for another generous drink. The countess is getting tipsy. Definitely that.

Deacon looks back to Caprice and smiles to her with familiar warmth, but then nods again to Lucita as she begins. After the first bar, he seems to get the right of it and starts playing along with her. He draws the bow quickly across the strings, keeping up with the quick pace of the song easily enough. As he plays, he looks over to Lucita and begins lightly tapping his foot in time with the song. As the melody changes in tone, he too slightly changes up the way that the bow strikes or draws against the strings, complimenting it to the best of his ability.

Luca has left the dance floor.

Luca has joined the seating by the fire.

Calevaro has joined the seating by the fire.

Caprice arches a brow as Lucita doesn't say anything back to her, but she'll watch this battle of instruments take place. She does sort of exchange a look with Deacon for a moment before she claps for both of them.

Thesarin makes his way to the rooftop, moving at a slow, even stride up the stairs. He's dressed lightly for the warm evening, and looks over the roof, craning his neck to see over shorter people's heads as he starts over the crowd.

Valencia grins playfully as she moves toward Calevaro to greet him properly with a warm incline of head and the offer of a delicate hand. "Missere Calevaro, I am so glad to see you. Please be welcome. Do you know my cousin Prince Luca? He is my sweetest cousin Princess' beloved. I believe you know Missere Sparte already," she smiles, glancing to Kael and Reigna. "If you will pardon me a moment. I have not had a chance to proper speak to the Countess and Count yet," she nods and slips off like a little shadow, giving Caprice a little wink and Decaon and Lucita a warm smile as she makes her way across the terrace, pausing to greet Thesarin as well, "Count Thesarin! I am so happy to see you. Please make yourself comfortable. Luca, Missere Sparte and Missere Calevaro are at the fire," she nods and continues on her way.

Valencia has left the dance floor.

Valencia has joined the lush garden seating.

Lucita gives a nod to Deacon and a grin as the two play. Since she is singing, She can not speak long but takes time to toss the drink stirring sticks to Anna and says to the girl and Caprice with an amicable smile. "If you would find it fun, just tap them to keep rhythm! A nod to the newcomers is given as the bright-spirited music played by Deacon and she continues to fill the air. Little dramatic flourishes with the dulcimer hammers and motions of the hand and arm enhance the songs and add visual interest to the music.

Luca gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Calevaro stands from his place, giving Valencia a respectful bow. "Good evening, your highness. I'm sertainly glad to be here.. I must say that you have once more provided us with a wonderful place." A wave and smile are given to Luca. "Good evening, your highness!" He says to the man, cheerfully, giving him a graceful bow.

"Princess." Thesarin gives Valencia a short nod as he steps toward her, and steps out of her eay to let her pass by on her way toward Deacon and Lucita. He starts toward the fire, giving Sparte and Luca a nod each.

Deacon sidles over closer to Lucita as he plays, giving the woman a playful smile. "Want to change it up and have a bit of fun? On me?" he asks her, speaking quickly and clearly, though without talking over their playing too much. He continues to play the current song until Lucita replies to him, awaiting her answer with a mirthful grin.

Caprice laughs softly to that. "No no.. you two are doing fine. I really have no sense with keeping beat unless it's oddly movement. I don't want to interrupt your battle." She looks up to watch the people enter and leave. Although, she keeps sending a smile or a wink towards Valencia. So much to plot later.

Lucita finishes up with the last of the borrowed 'improvised' items and has Anna return them as the song rolls through its last rendition. She shakes her hands and rubs her wrists a moment then looks toward Deacon. "that was fun. Thank you."

Lucita gives another nod to Caprice, a little smile of amusement showing. "Quite alright. I've no skills such as yours, but we both have that creative spark thanks to Jayus."

Luca's giving Thesarin a familiar nod and grin, but just as he's about to greet him, a messenger's coming and speaking to Luca's ever-present shadow in Giuseppe, and the old Lycene man's coming forward to whisper to the Lazy prince. "Alas, time to take my leave it seems. Thes, good to see you. Spar, make merry or eat well or both, my friend. I'm afraid I'm abandoning you though. Enjoy yourself." He starts off then towards exit, blowing Valencia a kiss in passing before slipping out.

Luis arrives as it appears Luca is leaving, passing the man on the way in, but he stops to whisper to Luca, checking with the Prince before moving further onto the rooftop.

Sparte slowly rises up, setting aside the plate he had before giving a grin and a wave to Thesarin. He shakes his head at Luca, falling in behind the man. "No way. Ditch me in a dark alley, leave me fighting a giant by myself, but a party? I'm coming with you."

Valencia looks up and nods to Luca as he departs, returning the blown kiss and offering an affectionate smile. Another smile of thanks and farewell is offered to Sparte as he joins Luca in leaving. A little nod is offered to Luis and aglance to Caprice sets her cheeks flushing pink and she returns to her chat with Kael and Reigna.

Calevaro stands from his place. He waves to Luca and Sparte, moving to get some food for himself. "Good evening, lord Luis!" He greets the man, giving him a smile.

Sparte gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

"Good seeing you both, all the same." Thesarin gives Luca and Sparte a nod apiece, and moves to settle in by the fire, looking over the lights on the roof and the lights over the city.

Luca pauses to offer something with grin to Luis, then hearing Sparte's chickening out of facing party alone, he laughs and waits for the younger man, slipping away into the summer night.

Sparte puts Golden Hart anniversary charm in a canvas backpack with leather accent straps.

Luca has left the seating by the fire.

Sparte has left the seating by the fire.

Giuseppe, a kindly old man, Sparte leave, following Luca.

Thesarin has joined the seating by the fire.

Lucita gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Calevaro has left the seating by the fire.

"Anytime," Deacon replies to Lucita, but then draws his playing to a close as well. Looking around, he wrinkles the bridge of his nose and then smiles brightly. "I think I shall take a break as well, actually. If you come to my party tomorrow, Lady Lucita, I would be delighted if you would also play a couple of numbers with me. I could use another fiddle, in fact, for the show I'm putting together. If you're interested." With a smile and a happy sigh, he replaces Lucita's vielle where he'd picked it up from.

Luis turns away from the Prince, his eyes flashing for a moment as he takes in the rooftop garden again, and now that the music is subdued a little, it is something else. People mingling, and Luis gives Valencia a smile across the room mouthing the words, "Well done." His attention is pulled by Calevaro and the man grins, "Ah, you were able to make it, that is wonderful, are you enjoying yourself?" he asks the man, looking around for a moment to see who is left.

Caprice nods her head to the words. "Jayus is very much an inspiration to those that follow him. There is art in everything around us from the way we breathe to the way we move and everything that goes with it." Her lips quirk a bit at Valencia's blush and then she focuses back on the musician couple before her.

"Of course!" Calevaro replies to Luis's question, quietly eating his food. "I must confess its been ages sinse I had this much fun.. Princess Valencia has really made a wonderful job, as always." He says honestly. "How have you been, my lord?" He asks curiously

Thesarin gets Golden Hart anniversary charm from small wood chest.

Luis bows his head to Calevaro, "I am truly glad that you're enjoying yourself. It is a splendid affair," Luis replies, almost just going through the motions of plesantries that have been ingrained in him throughout the years. He lifts his glass as it arrives, drinking from it while looking around. "I do believe that I am doing well. It has been a marvelous end to a rather busy day, so I say I am well because I do feel well. By the way, that was Prince Luca and .

and Missere Sparte, Champion and Iron Guard. If you were looking for someone to speak to about your squad and the military, both would be good people to discuss such things with," he offers.

Thesarin sits by the fire, lightly sampling from the offered food and drink. He's quiet, but for now, he seems content.

Lucita is winding down after an evening of playing and singing and dancing. She sips from her wine, a bit distracted, and listens to the others. "If I missed anyone speaking or posing to me my apology. please nudge me

Lucita is winding down after an evening of playing and singing and dancing. She sips from her wine, a bit distracted, and listens to the others. "If I missed anyone speaking or posing to me my apology. Please nudge me or send Anna to get my attention or...just forgive me for being distracted.

Luis turns his drink in hand as he goes to look back to Calvero, and finds that he is somewhat alone all of a sudden. He shrugs a shoulder and looks around, carrying on moving as the party still seems to be going. He catches up with Deacon and Lucita, giving the both of them a respectful bow, "Well played and sung dearest sister. A marvelous performance as always. You even had this guy," Luis adds, gesturing to Deacon with his drink, but it's clear that it's just a jovial indicator, "I heard him singing a few lines here and there as well. He did well too. Thank you Missere Deacon, your accompaniment was perfect." Luis offers, perhaps a little too far into his cups.

Lucita turns to Deacon and nods. "I'll be there if possible. Have not checked my schedule for tomorrow but am looking forward to hearing you and seeing what you have planned." She gives Caprice a smile. "He is indeed, I visit his temple the most frequently though visit each of the others, too."

Caprice steps aside as Luis comes over and greets the other two. She smiles a bit at him and his too far into the cups sort of manner. Her eyes then focus on Lucita. "I am sure it is to be a party of parties. Amazing even. I can only hope that it is still going when I free up from my duties, just to see him perform as we all watched you tonight. I have always had a most enjoyable time on my visits to the Pravus estate." She looks up at Deacon for a moment to make sure he's included in the conversation and not just talked about.

"And Mistress Caprice, there you are, you had disappeared earlier when we last spoke, but it is good to see you with the musicians," Luis replies, though he's not really answering anyone's questions. "A good evening, yes it was, as is the Pravus estate, as you say. They've the most wonderful things there..." he says, then looks to Lucita, smiling at his sister, "Till someone sends me away to go to an Assembly...Anyways, good job, that's what I was here to say," he remarks, then starts to wander over in the other direction, seeing Valencia with the other pair of dancers from earlier this morning.

Lucita picks up a mellow-toned lute with gilt painted roses.

Lucita picks up a birch dulcimer with playing hammers.

Lucita picks up a maple wood vielle with a mellow tone.

"My congradulations," Thesarin calls over from the fire, in the direction of Lucita and Deacon. He gives the pair of them a nod without standing or moving from his spot.

Valencia smiles and offer a warm hug and light kisses on the cheek to both Kael and Reigna as the couple prepares to depart. Turning she moves back towards the others to find Luis on his way in her direction. "My lord, I was just coming to join you all. Is Lady Lucita leaving?" she asks her expression turning a little sad to hear the news.

Over at the lush garden seating, it seems the pair of Keatons are indeed saying goodbye to the hostess after a bit of conversation. Shaking his head toward Reigna, Kael is chuckling softly before rising swiftly with her hand in his own. It seems he is going to be more than moral support for his wife, but a steadying factor otherwise. "I look forward to it, Your Highness," he murmurs to the young woman, bowing his head low toward her. With that he walks with Reigna to the exit, a quiet conversation taking place between the pair. Essentially small talk such as 'isn't the weather perfect?' and 'what a beautiful event.'

Deacon smiles warmly in response to the compliments, but he gestures toward Lucita with every one of them gracioulsy. "You're too kind, really," he says. The courtesan dips his head and moves over to reclaim his drink and a vantage point he can watch the party from for the moment.

Lucita gathers her instruments, placing them into the carrying case made for them and looks toward the others here. She says gently. "All the playing and dancing after a busy day has me suddenly feeling very tired. I hope you will excuse me but fun as this is, I think will head home before I wind up dozing off on on of the benches or are too tired to participate in coherent conversation. Thank everyone for the help tonight and for helping me with trying to help create some of the fun here."

Caprice brightens a fair bit at Valencia as she's on the move in the general area. There is this all-knowing look. See they are friends? When you are friends you don't have to say a word to say oh so much. "It will be good to hear you play again, Lucita. We should perhaps take a drink or something and lose ourselves in the virtues of Jayus." Her eyes then move towards Deacon as he moves. Her brows arch upwards a bit, almost like she asking a question, but not asking a question.

Reigna beams to Valencia as she loops her arm in Kael's. "Be well, dear Princess! I can't wait to see you again!" She leans back in against her husband, participating in that idle chitchat as they depart.

Reigna has left the lush garden seating.

Lucita gives Caprice a nod, smiles to the others and slips out.

2 Igniseri novice guards leaves, following Lucita.

Kael is overheard praising Valencia for: Beautiful party! To many more years of the Golden Hart!

Kael has left the lush garden seating.

Reigna leaves, following Kael.

The little vixen moves to Lucita's side as her staff see to carrying her instruments safely out to the waiting carriage. "YOu were amazing. Thank you so much for the beautiful performance," she says with a smile and a warm and affectionate hug, allowing the poor exhausted performer to depart with a few quiet words. Smiling to Luis she moves to join the others by the fire.

Valencia has left the lush garden seating.

Valencia has joined the seating by the fire.

As others leave, and Lucita is packing up, Luis smiles, giving Valencia an affectionate nod when she passes by. To Thesarin, Luis bows his head, "Forgive me, we did not get much of a chance to speak before the night wore on, I must see my sister home, but perhaps I will return later if folks decide to stay for a while..." he offers, then checks with Lucita, bowing polite farewells to Caprice and Deacon, before he too is gone, off to see that Lucita makes it home safely with all her wares.

Deacon seems to be in good spirits even though he is standing off to the side. It would appear that the courtesan is just taking a moment for himself after the performance. Although subdued, his warm smile is still etched on his lips. Occasionally his glass is lifted to them for a sip. Looking to Caprice, he gives her a wider smile and just holds up a finger briefly.

Thesarin gives Valencia a nod, and a hint of a grin, as she moves over toward the fire. "Again, Princess. Doing well this evening?" He leans back slightly, gives a slow nod, and looks around. "Quite the celebration."

Caprice moves over towards Deacon's side for now as Valencia and Thesarin are talking privately by the fire. The holding up of the finger causes her brows to lower. It's not an upset lowering, but a figuring out what he's trying to communicate. So she thinks about if she were making the signal. Caprice's green eyes flash with acknowledgement and she brings the man a whiskey.

The little vixen blinks a moment and then laughs as poor Luis leaves again. "I am, thank you, my dearest count," she nods as she takes a breath and gracefully takes a seat beside him. "But I do believe my dance partner has abandoned me," she grins, reaching out to secure another glass of wine from a passing server. "And yes, it was. A fitting celebration I think. I hope this garden sees as much use as the one in the Hart of the Hart." Looking up, she lightly lifts an eyebrow to Caprice and then shakes her head in confusion her and Deacon's private communique. "In fact, I'm rather excited to see what this year bring my Hart."
