Relationship Note on Freja
Spirits, I love my niece! I think we are going to get on quite well! I'd like to work on some things with her in the future, she seems to be questioning her relationship with the spirits. I tried to reassure her that, that is a normal thing. But I think we should delve a little bit, there may be something truly blocking her. She's around taint an awful lot. I think she and I should get together as soon as possible on this!

Relationship Note on Bianca
Bianca has taught me quite a bit since I came to Arx. She has been a friend, as well as an ally. I'm now her research assistant, and i hope that we can learn much together. She does still seem distant at times, but I'm glad we share much in common academically, if not socially.

Relationship Note on Angelo
I daresay it has turned out to be quite the fortunate coincidence that I happened to come across Lord Angelo so near to his arrival in Arx. While I am sure a man of his talent and connections would have soon found his way through the doors of the Whisper House without my assistance, he has quickly become one of our most engaged and engaging patrons, and to be deprived of his presence about for even a matter of weeks would have been a terribly missed opportunity.

Rather been a busy week for me with so many trips to escort the Whispers about town. It's good to see the members of the House so busy, with many social events and Calandra's festival in particular to organize! In times as these, I feel it is the duty of the Whispers to bring some light and energy to offset the darkness and gloom and to the last woman and man they have all been doing the job superlatively.

Relationship Note on Eleyna
Even though our houses have long had to deal with one another and even though I am to marry in to Velenosa, I do not know many well. I have only recently spoken to Princess Eleyna for any length of time, but she has left me with a favorable impression: bright and very loyal to her family.

I need to be more in control of the stupid things I say at the wrong time. It's like some kind of terrible urge to not keep my mouth shut overcomes me. Time to work on that before it turns from awkward and endearing to annoying. If it ever was awkward and endearing. Hmm.

Relationship Note on Lark
My sister is a studious and competent woman. She may have been a bit too bookish in her youth for me, but I was always off causing trouble and swinging swords around. I have no problem admitting Lark is far smarter than I am. But we share much in common, including a love for our family and a determination to see it prosper. I admire her and hope she realizes that.

A promise is only a promise as long as both parties are available to accept and keep it. You can promise the world, and sometimes people do in a moment of passion or love or need, without ever intending to keep it. You can be promised the world, but not be available to accept it even should you wish to with all you are. You can not fault someone for promising the world to someone else when you allow the world to slip through your fingers, and you can't expect those who hold the world to wait forever for you to reach out and take it.

Relationship Note on Tristram
Our first introduction was an interesting one. He is a Valardin Prince who has traveled the world. I am partially jealous and partially intrigued. I know I will need to seek him out again to hear more stories. An archer who offered to give me lessons; First lesson of archery, do not fear premature release. Apparently it happens to all newer or unskilled archers. It's a good thing then that Prince Tristram's bow is properly strong and his skill is unmatched.

Relationship Note on Calliope
Alright, sometimes puzzles are good for the soul. They sharpen the mind - Gods only know mine needs the edge - and they give you something to do than stay idle on horseback while the hours roll on. But what *did* that woman mean that we have met before? I have been away, with the King's Own first then up far to the north, and would have *certainly* remembered her.
A perfume maker though. There must be hundreds in the city - yet I do not feel my chances are excellent for running into that one again. Annoying.

I, as usual, screwed this up. The woman deserves better than fools who pry into her past like robbers pillaging for something of use, for she is not a military manual but a person. Worse, family.
It was easier with the troops. Everything was well defined but sturdy, dependable and known; I never had to think about hurting anyone's feelings. Now my place is to learn, not tell, and speak - not charge head-first and hope for the best.

Relationship Note on Joslyn
So much more than a handmaiden. She is my very best friend; my oldest friend and my dearest friend. It warms my heart to have her here in Arx. We used to get into the most delicious fun in Tor. As children we would try to sneak into parties and sometime we would succeed for a time before being ushered out. I hope she can forgive me for how the city has changed me.

I had a leather case commissioned for my dear cousin Bianca. She cannot be running around the city with important documents and my secret crushes on princes without having a lot on the case! Now they'll be easy to carry and she won't be victim to the wind.
