Now - how many good people in this city are going to use that tea for a hair rinse? It was just a joke.

If it works - you let me know.

It is often the person or persons who work quietly yet perform remarkable feats that change the tides of battles that go unnoticed and unthanked.

To all the not-quite-invisible-but-often-overlooked heroes.... Thank you. Your loyalty and bravery are very much appreciated, and I, for one, just want you to know that.

I found an old design that I particularly liked and forged a small series of oathlands style two-handed blades. I hope each might find their stories in their names, but sometimes the world decides differently.

Conversations with Existentialism

1: "A new chapter in my life is starting. And I'm scared. Both great and terrible. I've been through so many chapters already..."

2: "But if we each only get one chance at experiencing life, aren't you really quite lucky with just how many different slices of existence you've gotten to taste?"

Conversations with Existentialism

1: "Sure, I've learned from past heartbreaks. But I think they taught me bad lessons in trust."

2: "Be careful with letting relationships of the past cast shadows on the future. The line between overly cautious and naively trusting can be hard to see. To see clearly, you need to spend time with the present."

It's funny. The bit of the shop where I spend most of my days is called 'Heart of Glass.' How on the nose is that?

Does drink strengthen glass? Let's find out.

I did some griffin and eagle brooches for the shop, which are doing well enough. Upcoming projects have kept my mind a bit distracted, so a big something-new hasn't really materialized just yet in my head. I want to create something grand, but whatever story it is that may need to be told just...isn't forming clearly. Yet. Sometimes inspiration flashes in a second - while I'm just waking up, or wandering the marketplace looking for something to catch my eye. Maybe I'll do a run of cupridium something-or-others if a thought manages to take hold.

When the world is at it's greenest, as Spring turns to Summer and I can smell the apple blossoms in the air and walk through meadows in the heat of the evening I miss John the most...

Somedays I think he'll walk right back through the door like he was never gone..

It's worse when you don't know...

My outing in Arx wasn't all that bad, I suppose. I did meet a very charming man. Perhaps, I should thank my brother for dragging me to this city even though it has felt like a short leash.... that I've been attached too.

I've been plagued by many a dream, one in particular that eludes me to it's meaning. Month after month, it's the same. Only one other knows of it, yet I don't feel as if I'm coming any closer to a conclusion. Why must visions and dreams be a riddle of there own.

Perhaps I should speak with my brother on the matter... or maybe even one of my kin from the North. Surely they would understand my plight of his reoccurring dream.

I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. How does anyone expect me to fulfill my duty as Oracle. I think there faith in me is much more then my own. Responsibility feels like a wet blanket over my head, suffocating.

I made a piece for the charity event for the healers of the Arvum. Healers Lament I called it, and though I have never been in a healers tent near the field of battle I do think I captured the essence of such a place and the weight of the work nicely.

I was honored to find out that it gained third place for their contest, And even more so that Lord Orland found it to his liking and decided it should decorate a space within his home.. Or at least somewhere. Who knows where it may end up.

The past two weeks have been filled with renewed acquaintances, friendships, and a further desire ignited to do good works for those that need it. I hope to be up to the challenge. My to-do list grows longer and longer.

Clive! Clint! Look you have to stop running away! Wow you really write everything down? Ha!
...
Fine here's the important bits. Orland and Savio should be praised more for their work with the medics.

It's so hard to accept help sometimes. I wish I had before. Not everything can or needs to be shouldered alone. What's the point if we don't help each other, anyway?

Thankfully, certain teas can be both helpful in regard to preventing unplanned children and can be used as a hair rinse.

Terribly convenient.

Finally, seasons have passed and I have finally followed through on a desire I've had for a year. I couldn't have done it without help from Guildmistress Caprice, or Lady Narcissa or the many friends and teachers who have inspired this collection.

At the turn of summer I will complete my second vision. Though I have lost talent I have the potential for more to join me..

And then I will turn my attention to the sea. Good fortune doesn't wait for preparation..

I only hope that it will mean something..

My mother passed on to me two shining pieces of advice that have never, ever failed me. And I present them to the whites for if they have served me so well in the past, I'm sure they can serve someone else now.

First: Get yourself a good clarifying, detoxing shampoo from an apothecary.

Second: Be careful who you breed with.

I've painted something new for Veronica, my first work in quite some time. It's not the best, admittedly, but I tried. Hopefully this one won't go missing too. Who even steals paintings of donkeys? A very strange person, I should think.

Maybe I should attempt to paint new subjects. Uncle Norwood and his mules? Mules are close enough to donkeys that it shouldn't be too difficult. Jayus help me.
