Reese arrives at the event while in the company of Joslyn and Isabetta. "I could get you both some tickets if you want and if they are still selling tickets?" She asks. She is adorned in lots of pink and has a warm winter cloak on.

"It's probably too late, but you wanted this anyway! I'd hate to steal it out from under you with with such a generous offer," Joslyn smiles to Reese, standing close at her side.

Isabetta hangs around close to Reese's other side. Part of the entourage.

Danae smiles and stands before the crowd. "Welcome thank you all for coming. I am just preparing some last minute things will not take much longer. I can still accept any last minute entries as well! Mingle. Enjoy yourselves while I get ready

Reedy, a King's Own aide arrives, delivering a message to Danae before departing.

Reese looks over to Joslyn and then to Isabetta. "I will get you both some. They are accepting last moment purchases." Sh says, maybe having heard Danae's words.

Thea is off to the side, content to watch and support. She still looks a bit tired and pale, but that's alright. Better!

Reese looks over to Thea, giving her a gentle smile. "Lady Thea. I am glad to see you out and about. Are you feeling okay?" She gently asks while near both Isabetta and Joslyn. She is adorned in all her pink. Reese just purchased a few more tickets.

Off to the side as well is Sir Bhandn, who is engaged in the practice of applying a whetstone to Vigil with some gusto while watching proceedings. While he hasn't said anything since arriving, his grey eyes are split between honing the sword's edge and watching. No blindfold today, as he was in the Academy during the gathering there.

Joslyn has her own, light violet dress beside Reese, she smiles warmly to the princess. "Well thank you! I guess we'll just have to see," she giggles and looks to Thea, dipping her head politely, the bells in her hair ringing out as she moves.

Danae smiles to the crowd, "Well we have 70 entries in to the raffle tonight. Had I known it would be this popular, I would have done more than one prize. This is the first time I have done something like this, so I suppose there is a learning curve to it. This will not be the last time, and next time will be bigger and offer a wider array of prizes to be one I think. Keeping that in mind... Let other charities and organizations know that I will happily add them to my list of people I can do this kind of thing for in the future."

A slight pause, "70 entries means we raised 1750 writs for the mercies. As promised however, I will use my skills in the market place and my own time and favors owed to triple this for the mercies. And one lucky person gets a piece of Star Iron, Custom made by Josephine. A fantastic prize I think!" With that she posts the list.

Reese turns her attention to Bhandn, giving him a smile as well. "Sir Brandh. It is nice to see you again." She says politely in his direction. She then look over to Danae. "Oh, wow, seventy." She murmurs. "Congrats on raising so much."

Danae reaches around the raffle jar and pulls out a number. She looks over her sheet and then looks up with a smile. "It seems our winner this evening will be Lady Brianna Halfshav!"

Thea bows her head to Reese and Joslyn, a small smile there,"I am well enough, thank you,"answering Reese. She speaks to both women then,"It is nice to see you."

Reese smiles when when the winner is announced. "Oh, she is very lucky, Lady Brianna." She says in a gentle tone. She then has a smile for Thea once again. "That is good to hear. I am glad you are recovering and it is nice to see you."

Danae smiles, "Well, I know people have things to do, BUT, I would welcome any conversation on improvements to be made, things of that nature... This is not exactly my specialty and I am looking to improve."

Isabetta sniffs a bit and asks, "What is being auctioned? People? They should be auctioning people. I've always wanted my own Princess Reese, even if just for a day."

"I hope Your Highness will forgive me for not genuflecting immediately while I am prone to cutting myself," Bhandn says, towards Reese, "but it is good to see you as well." He /does/ give the Grayson princess a bow, /after/ he's carefully set steel to one side. For himself, the knight's eyebrows do raise at the announced amount raised, but he doesn't comment. There is a moment of staring in Danae's direction, however.

"Excellent," Mirk says with a small smile, rising to his feet. "I should like to remain, but I have other duties. But I'm sure my cousin will be pleased with her success." He offers a dip of his head to those assembled, and on that comment, heads back the way he came.

Joslyn dips her head to Thea. "Nice to see you as well! Countess Joslyn Rivenshari... you look familiar but I am not sure if we've met?" she wonders, tilting her head before she shrugs. "In any case, good seeing you, and lucky for Lady Bianca," Joslyn agrees with a nod towards Reese and a bit of a look offered at Isabetta. "Well, I think you are in luck!"

Reese looks over to Issy. "Oh, I Star Iron ring made by Mistress Josephine." She say and then looks over to Bhandn with another gentle smile. "I should visit you soon and well I hope you don't cut yourself." She says, before smiling over to Mirk as well.
