It does my heart very good to have my Count, my War Chief, and one of my oldest friends back among us at Heron Hall. Thesarin's strength and resolve have ever been a guiding force for my tribe - and now the Rivens - and they will be more needed than ever in the days to come, I think.

One of the vassals of my House, I've come to understand him as a rather blunt individual. There is little room for beating around the bush and more often than not he could be considered a little rough around the edges. He reminds me of some others that I know and have come to trust the judgment of purely because they will speak their mind, when it needs to be spoken. The fact that he makes his delivery of speaking his mind in a humorous manner only tends to lighten the blow of what he may have to say.

My liege and a man I am proud to call friend. Ever since before knee hit ground he had my respect, and when he put his people first by taking the Riven name it made that regard for him even greater. He looks after his own, and honors his word.

My life has been bound up with Thesarin's for so long I cannot remember a time when it was not. My tribesman of the Greenwoods. My leader, when the tribe was broken, and I had to find another path. My count, and I his knight, when we became this thing they call prodigal. My duty to him and his gives my life form and function, even when all else seems dark. He shall have my sword and my blood so long as I live.
