Description: Most wouldn't call Kamaria stunning, but she does seem to possess a simple beauty about her that stands on its own, complimented by an inner confidence and poise. She is somewhat petite with a lithe and willowy build testament to a lifetime of diligent but not physical work, her feminine curves modest but appreciable. Her skin is sun-kissed like golden sand, her hair a chocolate with a copper cast that can be caught in just the right light. All things considered, perhaps the thing that could be most considered spectacular about her are her two silver eyes, so strange and so smooth that they could almost be considered mirror-like in appearance. They are wreathed in thick lashes and set above a pair of high cheekbones and cherubic mouth.
Personality: Practical and no-nonsense Kamaria is prone to plain but polite social interactions. She possesses the wit to know when to be outspoken an gregarious and the wisdom to know when to be quiet. While far from a social chameleon, she can be found in many different types of social events making what most would call business associates rather than close friends. When it comes to her personal life, she does play her cards close to her chest but she is far from cold or aloof.
Background: Born and raised in Brassfall to a successful mercantile family, she grew up learning the family trade. As a single child, it was devastation when at the age of 13 her parents were washed away in an accident that would have left her a penniless orphan til she came of age. That is, if she hadn't been something of a smooth-talking economically minded prodigy. Friends in high places petitioned for her emancipation and the inheritance of her family's business. It was a bit of a risk on their behalf, but it paid many dividends in the long run. Eventually, by the time she was out of her teens, she was even more successful than her family before her.
By the time she was twenty-three she had chosen a husband that was equally as keen with his business sense and combined forces to produce one of the more successful mercantile companies the Lyceum has seen to date: the Mairelli Mercantile Company. By the time she was thirty, her husband was dead after he was a little overcome with greed and overreached a deal. He was barely recognizable in the state he was found in. Again alone, she carried on.
Most recently, she's become good business partners with the new Marquessa-Consort, Lycoris Hawkmour. After several successful business transactions the two became penpals until Lycoris became convinced that she needed Kamaria in Arx to help her manage her House's affairs.
