Marquis Casimir Acheron
Hang on, I think I read about this somewhere.
Description: Dark hair falls just past the nape of Casimir's neck in a tousled sweep; just a little too long, just a little unkempt, it's the kind of hair that perpetually needed a haircut a few weeks ago. His skin is winter pale beneath the scruff of a short and neatly trimmed beard that frames a thoughtful mouth. His eyes are bright beneath the dark lines of his brows. His irises are a cool gray flecked with the palest gold. He is lean, and not over-broad through the shoulders, though with a trim build that suggests he lifts a lot of heavy books. His hands carry an elegant strength, dextrous and clever, as well as ink stains on his first two fingers.
Personality: As a younger child, Casimir was indulged too much in his youth to make him entirely responsible as a man. He's ... better. He's bright, and what's worse is that he has known that since he is very young. He's driven by his curiosity, and occasionally makes the sometimes audible mistake of assuming that this all makes him better than everyone else around him. Attempts to inculcate in him a sense of responsibility for those less fortunate have met with middling success. He certainly believes he knows what's best for them, and does his best to strive for it.
Background: From a young age, Casimir was marked to seal a political alliance by marrying out of the family. You see, he never liked the family dogs.
He never liked the wilds that much, either. He learned to endure both -- to ride, and to hunt, and to do everything that was expected of a Keaton lord -- but his true passion was found in books: histories and stories captured his imagination as the forests never could. He was still young when his eldest sister took her own life. He watched as Margerie took on the burden of rule with the incomprehension of the young, while his rather idle studies took on sharp new focus as he moved up the line of succession. His relief when he was bumped back down was matched only by Margerie's when Kael was found.
The young promise of a political alliance was sealed through a marriage to house Acheron, and off Casimir went to Arx to meet his new wife. He has mixed feelings about setting aside the sigil of a dog's pawprint to take on that of a monstrous wolf-bear.
Name | Summary |
Kenna | So, I am pretty sure he isn't dead. At least, he's solid. But he's as crazy as Rhea is, I think. I actually don't know anything about him. I wonder if he'll ever forgive me for trying to stab him. |
Riagnon | Casimir is pretty great, by which I mean his hair is all floppy-like and he's got a real good beard. Oh, no! Hahahah! I don’t think she's attracted to him at all! |
