Lord Elias Leary
So there I was, feeling like the luckiest guy on Aion. To be buried alive and to tell the tale about it! MAJOR life goal achieved!
Description: On the taller side of average, Elias cuts a handsome figure, his frame toned from hunting and marred with the occasional biting scar. A soldier by trade, those calloused hands are ever expressive, often sweeping through the dark hair that has been grown out; usually disheveled and wild without care, unlike that of his beard -- Always neatly trimmed. Easy-going and quick to laugh, Elias is frequently seen with at least half a smile on his lips, with sharp and bright blue eyes that are just as expressive.
Personality: There is a quiet confident strength and power to Elias. Contrasting the world around him, Elias is not at all about overstated declarations of passion or ferocity. That's not to say that he doesn't possess those fierce and fiery traits, but with Elias, still waters run deep and often more dangerously than shallow babbling brooks. A man of action, he seems to put more value on things that affect him in his daily life -- a good drink, pleasant company or the thrill of a good hunt speak significantly more to him.
Background: Growing up with a knightly mother of Oathlands orthodox values and a stereotypically eccentric Leary father proved to be a bit of a thorn in Elias' younger years. A black sheep, Elias never put much thought into the Gods, nor did he in his studies. Despite not following closely in his parents footsteps, Elias naturally met them halfway as he made a name for himself as a hunter - whenever the motivation struck. Typically, the motivation was a diminishing purse of silver or, more often, a mystery that caught his attention just right. Whenever that desire struck, he became as fierce a warrior as his mother and as dedicated a scholar as his father.
As a child, these endeavours usually involved sneaking out of the house late at night to explore old and abandoned houses, or to investigate and document strange sightings in the neighboring forests. So all it took was one little intriguing story; a secret untold, and Elias set off on spontaneous adventure. A long adventure. For an entire year. His path never circled back to the Oathlands, and instead he found himself a home with his distant Leary family in Arx while he dug up more mysteries to pick at.
|Alessia||A notably curious young lord. I admire his willingness to seek answers where he usually wouldn't go.|
|Arcadia||He has changed so much. A wide eyed dreamer who barely recognized me. I worry for him a little.|
|Bhandn||I didn't know whether to be surprised or chastened when he said he was a noble. Perhaps it's for the best I not pursue the answer behind that feeling.|
|Brigida||A fool of a Lord of the highest order. Gods help us if he gets into any position of authority.|
|Catalana||A younger less charming version of Marquis Fairen.|
|Domonico||A good shot with his bow but could do with an improvement to his discipline and his overconfidence.|
|Fairen||Oh Elias. Ever the wanderer and dreamer, born for adventure. However, he needs a solid dose of leading a life by facts! Good thing Elloise can help me with that.|
|Iseulet||He reminded me so much of someone very close to my heart it gave me a start the first time I laid eyes on him. But it was only superficial. A brief but pleasant conversation with him revealed that he is indeed, wholly different and very pleasant in his own right. Once he finds his feet in Arx though, we all know he will be just as interesting as the other Leary family members. A man to watch grow, certainly.|
|Kaia||A simple man, who seems to worry about the well-being of others (like how one should be more quiet and considerate in libraries, and not bother or annoy others); also, it seems he has little to no regard for titles. He's also a hunter! I look forward to learning a thing or two from him in the field.|
|Ophelia||A fellow hunter and a new arrival to the city! I do hope to see him again so that I may persuade him to join the Lodge of Petrichor. What fun that would be!|
|Ras||Was just thinking it's gonna be great to have a hunter of things that need to be hunted in Arx. But then he started laughing at me. Reckon at least he ain't no silken snob, so that's aight.|
|Thea||A bit rude. I'm not really sure how else to put this. Well I mean I can, but...|
|Ysabel||A man with many questions, and a hunger for answers. His courage is to be commended!|
