Lady Ilmia Leary
Adventure and life should go hand in hand. Especially when you include friends!
Description: Of all of her observable details, one thing standsout the most: Sultry radiance. Possessing a fair complexion and skin tone, unblemished by age or battle, Ilmia looks to be in her mid to late twenties. Soft, delicate facial features include full, plump lips that are constantly curved into a devilish grin, hinting at the promise of a secret. Long, flowing hair of a copper red drapes down her head and onto her shoulders, reaching out for the small of her back, but not quite getting there.
Personality: As with most Learies, Ilmia does everything with purpose and intention. Pair that with her natural beauty and intelligence, she has grown accustomed to getting what she wants. Whether it is a new set of books, a fancy new gown, or just an opportunity to explore the world around her, she knows how to get her way. However that doesn't mean she is snobbish, exactly either. More often than not she is caring, compassionate and friendly, to the point where she can be rather flirty.
Background: Being born with parents who travel a lot can take a toll on young children, stripping them of their ability to make friends. Especially when that young child grows up an only child, to a family that favors books than socializing. Ilmia Leary, on the other hand, is a unique case. All of these obstacles were just challenges for the young Leary girl, and oh, does she love a challenge. Everywhere her family went, Ilmia immediately put in the work and effort to make as many friends as she possibly could before the next move. It was practically like a game to her, with a ledge she kept to record her 'score' as she went. Not that she needed a book, considering her exceptionally keen memory.
When she came of age, Ilmia set off on her own, seeking to make a name for herself rather than just piggy-backing off of her father's name and relic collecting reputation. No place is safe. From the coldest of Redrain lands, to the most liberal cities of the South. Now, however, it's time to explore one of the most prominent cites in the whole Compact: Arx.
|Aethan||Knows a lot of ghost stories.|
|Braden||A scholar and something of a tough one. Interesting. Looking forward to getting to know her better.|
|Caith||Cousin Ilmia! She loves stories, research and adventuring almost as much as I do!|
|Dante||She was at the tournament, though we did not speak much. Still, always good to know a lady!|
|Delilah||A Leary wielding a machete on an overgrown island, whilst looking regal as if she intends to go to a ball. I like this one. I like her a lot!|
|Erik||A Grayson docent. We share many interests in common, including scholarly pursuits and desire to know most of the world. I feel like we are about to cross paths again in the future.|
|Evaristo||Returned to Arx and we're blessed for it!|
|Evonleigh||A bright conversationalist that helped turn the small talk of a dinner party to curious and interesting things. I will sit with her any time!|
|Fairen||What warmth and grace, our cousin! I'm glad to have her back in the city -- I'm sure she'll see me dragged into all sorts of things!|
|Fiora||A nice girl. A shame to see the wolves already circling. And people say the wolf problem is outside of the city.|
|Iliana||Gracious and friendly, she exemplifies the Learies. I am glad to have her in Arx.|
|Jeffeth||A Caith Cousin. They're generally all lovely. If quiet. Lady Ilmia seems to fall under that category but she seems like a good lady all the same. I would be excited to know her better.|
|Klaus||Another cousin of my wife and another charming noblewoman who has my respect and reguards|
|Liara||Apparently every bit as scholarly as one would expect of a Leary, with an added adventurous streak. She was quick to smile and easy to converse with.|
|Luca||There's nothing like a good surprise in the middle of an Assembly of Peers. Lady Ilmia's a skilled and curious conversationalist. I mean, at least when it comes to ghosts. I see a look of adventure.|
|Michael||Vibrant hair, intense stare. I remember her well. A few visits to Arx in my youth and I encountered her. Time spent at Bastion, with Learys as with my cousins. She was engrained heavily in my mind growing up. When I was that age, she is what beauty was to me.|
|Mirk||A traveler and a scholar. Curious about all things, it seems. For all that, not prone to prying. A good combination.|
|Ophelia||A new face to the city and someone that might have an interest in archery! I shall have to see her again outside of the training center to find out more about her hobbies.|
|Reese||A friendly scholar Lady who was gracious about my mistake. I hope to see more of her.|
|Rinel||A new scholar to the city. She seems perceptive. Perhaps overly perceptive. I should be more careful about how I speak.|
|Sabella||She is always rather quiet, but nonetheless extremely pleasant and seems to be quite a help to her Marquessa!|
|Wren||I found Lady Ilmia to be very friendly and in possession of an inquisitive mind. I hope that perhaps we can get together to trade ghost stories. They are some of my favorites, particularly the ones about the very haunted sea.|
