Description: The battles that he has fought are evidenced on his body, a scar on his neck, numerous ones hidden beneath clothes, and even the first knuckle of one finger missing. But that, somehow, doesn't seem to detract from the fact that where he was once probably a very pretty young man, he has aged into a very distinguishedly handsome man. His dark blonde hair is well kept, often longer with gentle curls, and his blue eyes are bright, made even brighter against the dark tan of his skin.

Personality: Fierce, loyal, snarky, but always just short of actual rudeness. He has the confidence of someone that knows he earned his place in the world, even if he also realizes that he's getting to be part of an older generation. He hasn't slowed down any, and makes it a point to remind people of by always being busy doing something.

Background: Valentino was the youngest of five, his father a fisherman and his mother a tailor, born in Caina, raised in Caina, and at one time said he'd never leave Caina. Sometimes, things change though.

The first big change in his life came when he took up fighting instead of fishing, the latter of which he showed no actual talent at, but the former he showed quite a bit. He excelled, in fact, and was eventually able to prove himself during a fight where he threw himself in front of the injured Sword of Caina, and kept the man alive.

As thanks, when it became clear that the previous Sword would no longer be able to serve, he was given the honor. Much of his later training came via instruction by the old Sword, a refinement of technique until he eventually became the one that the nobles in Inverno would send their children to when it came time to learn.

Although he sailed, when it was required of him, he mainly stayed on the island and taught others in his downtime. With the change in leadership from an Inverno to a Pravus, there has been some question of where his loyalty lies. No one could dispute that he'd protect the family, the House, and the people of Caina. But does that include their new Pravus overseers?
