Description: Flowing waves of inky black tresses flow down over Valda's shoulders, framing her round face and reaching low enough to drape over a modest bust. It stands in stark contrast to her skin, which is both without blemish and the color of pale cream. Slim brows drape over stormy grey eyes, and each stand above a button nose and slight mouth. While far from tall, her frame is thin and nearly willowy, giving a delicate impression to her form and movements.

Personality: Valda is a soft-spoken woman, possessed of a dry wit and sardonic attitude. She is ever-curious, nearly always interested in meeting new people and learning more about them. She also bears a strong sense of responsability, putting her duties first. As well, those under her care tend to see a more motherly side of her, looking out for them and attempting to see to their needs where she can: a trait that serves her well as Shaman.

Background: Raised in the northlands, under House Redrain, Valda showed the curiosity, spirit, intelligence, and memory necessary to become a Shaman. While mere commoners, her clan raised her as a shaman, and as a shaman she showed promise to the local noble families. Her education was supplemented by one of these families - a smaller branch of the Halfshav family - giving her a fair familiarity with how the higher classes live.

Upon completing her education, a process that took some years of her adulthood, she became employed as an in-house shaman to that same distant branch of House Halfshav. Her employment was successful, and she became trusted with caring for the younger members of the home.

Now, more recently, she has arrived in the capital. One of the wilder children of the house has been sent with her, under her care and guidance, to learn to be properly civilized in the home of the Crown. It is Valda's honor and duty to see that Rona Halfshav is molded into a proper young woman.
