Question: Are there any other planets in the skies of Aion? Comets? Recorded astronomical phenomena? Or did this all vanish with the Elven War?
Answer: Interest in astronomy vanished very sharply after around the time of the Crownbreaker Wars, oddly, and has fallen out of fashion for a great long time, with few paying it much heed. But quite a few constellations are tracked, often named after gods, such as Gloria's Sword which appears in the eastern sky, pointing down towards Eurus, or the Great Wolf, which helps those in the North find true north for navigation, or a dozen similar like ones. The Red Banner is a comet that appears every 169 years it's said, though records are shaky when the last one was seen. And of course there's the blood moon that brings about the Mirror's Masquerade celebrated in the Lyceum. As for other stars (which might be planets), most of that knowledge is no longer immediately accessible, but would likely be found somewhere in the Great Archive. Somewhere.
Question: Are there any stars and constellations in the night sky that the people of Avrum have identified such as a North Star or Constellations associated with the gods?
Answer: Quite a few, though astrology was originally populary in the Compact and has faded from memory since the Elven War, constellations are still commonly known. There's the Wolf's Guide, which is the equivalent of the Northstar, and at least once constellation named for each god or goddess as rough analogues.
Question: How many moons do we have, what do they look like, and are there any related stories behind them at all at current?
Answer: One. Rough analogue to earth. There's the blood moon at complicated intervals that creates the Eclipse of Mirrors and allows for the Mirrors Masquerade, and some other astrological events I'll probably define later. See 'help tehom' and the lyceum section of the hall of heroes.
