Redrain & Thrax Wedding

Rarely is it that a marriage is announced that is as much about creating political bonds, as it is for the love between two people. But it is for this love, and for the strength and alliance it has created between two Great Houses, that gives me such enthusiasm today. On this, the 14th day of the 10th month in the year 1006, I am overjoyed to announce the betrothal between myself, Prince Darren Redrain, and Princess Donella of House Thrax. The date of the union will be set at a later time.
Princess Donella will join House Redrain at my side, forging an alliance between House Redrain and House Thrax that will set aside the past and look forward into the future. May both our Houses grow stronger from this union, and may the Gods and Spirits both bless and keep us.
