King's Own Duties

It is with unfettered joy that we welcome the return of His Majesty, Alaric Grayson IV to our city in truth. His health has returned and with it so have our duties. Effective immediately, the King's Own shall return to our more normal activities in guarding the King and the Compact. As his health is now restored, we are no longer the gatekeepers of who may come and go in normal duties of state. We remain, as ever, his faithful guardians.
Our duties will now also extend to the protection of the person of Lady Symonesse, Keeper of Light. We will be as vigilant in guarding her as we have been the King these many years. As a note, and I really should not have to say this, but please remember that the Keeper of Light is new to our city and our people, and make every attempt to not cause affront with strange customs and speculations. Like talking about her bones. Don't be weird.
