Palace Security and Retinues

Posted by Rymarr on 02/22/17
Henceforth personal retinues will not be permitted beyond the palace gate, without the express permission of the Lord Commander of the Sovereign's Own Royal Guard. The exception to this ruling will permit High Lords of the Great Houses one retainer or bodyguard to accompany them while on the palace grounds, but may not exceed an single bodyguard or retainer. This single bodyguard does not extend to the Voices of the High Lords, they will be handled in the same manner as anyone else who is not the head of one of the Compact's Great Houses; meaning they will not be permitted a personal guard while on palace grounds. Stacking one bodyguard on the shoulders of another and attempting to claim them as an individual or any variation therein is not permitted.

The exception to this security measure is of course: His Imperial Majesty King Alaric Grayson IV, His Majesty's royal guard, and His Majesty's Regent Duke Gabriel Bisland.

If one feels that they should be exempt from this ruling, please address any written correspondence to the Lord Commander of the King's Own, by way of the palace.

Thank you.

In Service,
Sir Rymarr Lyonesse
Lord Commander of the Sovereign's Own Royal Guard
