The Fate of the Rogelivitti

Posted by Isobella on 04/28/19
In these trying times, one might expect that we turn dagger and blade outward in unified defense of hearth and fealty, but there are those who see moments of strife as a time of opportunity. Ambition, however, is a double-edged sword, and those incapable of wielding it with care will find themselves cut down with extreme prejudice.

For his crimes, including but not limited to collusion, obstruction of trade, and the attempted extortion of the Velenosa family, Lucio Rogelivitti, patriarch of the Rogelivitti family and deed-holder to the Rogelivitti Vineyard, will be stripped of his family's claim as he awaits judgment.

Effective immediately, the vineyard will return to Velenosa management, and Lenosian Red wine will once again be available on the open market, ending the recent shortage which has impacted trade with our neighbors.

With the tragic loss of Lucio's son Mario in a vicious attack on the Great Road that saw an entire merchant caravan senselessly slaughtered, the heir-presumptive of the vineyard grant is now Mario's son, who is yet still a child. This inheritance is contingent upon the child being relinquished to the care and tutelage of the Velenosa family, also effective immediately, whereby his upbringing and education will be overseen in order to ensure that the next generation of Rogelivitti does not share such a tragic fate.

Should this benevolence be declined or the apple have fallen too closely to the tree upon his coming of age, the vineyard in question will be absorbed back into the Velenosa in both deed and writ.

"No one may harm us unpunished."

Let it never be said that the maxim of the Velenosa rings untrue.
