Secrets and Plot Threads

I'm getting tons of questions about it and rather than telling everyone 'yes I'll explain this later', I'll give the very short version answer now. With actions and investigations, we'll be doing a different style for players trying to pursue their secrets, mysteries, different plot lines, etc. What we'll be doing is defining those individual plotlines with +plot code, and outlining specific methods to advance them, mostly with RFRs that are done in response to organic RP. For example, say someone has a secret about something strange and supernatural happening in their secret. They would make a +goal about trying to figure it out. They have scenes with other characters discussing it, try to find out relevant clues, go along on PRPs that might be tangentially related, then put in RFRs about how their character feels about it, what their theories are colored by their RP, what they've done and what they plan to do in the future, and that's what staff would respond to. So that way it's less of a, 'I'm not sure where to go from here' and more of a, 'This is what I've found out, and what I think about it' and that might or might not trigger more GMing.

I'll post a much longer formal version later.
