Redreef Rosters and You: Partners in Freedom

"What even is a House Redreef," I can hear you asking at your computer and/or phone. "What the hell is that. Tell me. Right now. I have a gun."
Okay, well, first, chill out.
Second, Redreef is an up-and-coming county in the Mourning Isles. Likes: progressive politics (e.g. thralldom abolition), life on the high seas, dolphins, drinking, yelling, hooting and/or hollering, fighting. Dislikes: disloyalty, pirates, slavers, not fighting.
With the Mourning Isles one of the key crisis points in the game right now, Redreef is a noble House right in the thick of things. Countess Ember is an outspoken and aggressive voice AGAINST traditionalism and FOR civil war that may well tear the Isles apart. Join the fun that results (in whatever form it takes), won't you?
Redreef currently has three rosters open:
MARINA: https://play.arxgame.org/character/sheet/14463/
The Countess's identical twin. Ember's the warrior, and Marina is the sailor. Ember's the walking HR incident report, and Marina's the one who can actually empathize with people. Ember lives to fight and conquer, and Marina lives to explore and set foot on new shores. The two of them balance one another out in ways that probably frustrate each other as only identical twin siblings can frustrate one another, but they've also literally had each other's back since the womb. There's a lot of really cool stuff going on under the hood with Marina that would plug you in right away to some neat RP opportunities! (You might want to ask staff if that really cool stuff is the right really cool stuff for YOU, though.)
GEHENNA: https://play.arxgame.org/character/sheet/108303/
The Starscream to Ember's Megatron. Older sister of Nimue and Griffin. First cousin, twice removed to ~Ivan Helianthus~ (remember that guy?). Gehenna comes from a very conservative, traditionalist wing of the Redreef family tree, and she's absorbed all of those inclinations into her being. She believes wholeheartedly in the traditions of the Isles. One would think that this would exile her to political disfavor, but she's just too damn good at her job: she's a silver-tongued diplomat, excelling in the 'classical' skill set of an Islander noblewoman. As the Isles turn away from the values in which she believes, she finds respite where she can, in gallows humor and strong drink.
JACE: https://play.arxgame.org/character/sheet/58451/
The Sword of Redreef! A raconteur who can charm even the most haggard of sea dogs, and in the same breath a man whose honor is everything, and who would gladly die attempting to keep his word, rather than live by breaking it. Jace is a hero of the Battle of the Bay of Pieros, where he valiantly fought, and led a ship that suffered literally zero casualties, aside from the loss of his own eye. So why does he feel so weird about that? Jace is a great character who could really use a player willing to put in some elbow grease and build on what's there -- he's sat mostly idle for far too long!
If you have any questions, comments, observations, or lamentations, by all means feel free to reach out! Thanks for reading this novel!
