Lady Eirene Riven's fame within the Compact often seems to be based around her creative use of foul language to describe almost any event, great and small, to mostly amusing effect? at least for those who aren't on the receiving end of it. Yet her skills as a Physician eclipse even her best cursing. With those skills, Eirene enlists the help of Lady Azova Darkwater and Archlector Giada of the Thirteenth to make sure that as many clinics in the Compact are as well-stocked as possible and to also work closely with the Mercies to share knowledge and resources as Eirene knows they are all going to be elbows deep in blood and need all the help they can get. As news spreads, both commoners and nobles within the Compact speak of admiration of the group and their forethought that might just save lives, a fact for which everyone who will fight or cares for someone who will fight can be grateful.
