GIANT LEECHES?!?

There's nothing too strange about the group that returns to the city, Eirene, Medeia, Oswyn, Thea, and Ivy, but the cart they're escorting is enough to generate strange rumors of giant leeches, hunted successfully, the 'success' leaking a little bit, because goodness it was a long way to get them here. One leech is taken to the Saving Grace with talks of research and dissection and the other ... wait. Oh. There it is. Definitely dead and definitely not missing.
