Lumber in Westrock Reach

Duke Ryhalt Farshaw is a man in need of lumber. And the Compact has its share of refugees in need of place. These are meant for each other. Ryhalt plans a new village, surrounded by crop-suitable land (and trees, for that lumber!), and enough people filter in to make the village a reality. Lady Mabelle makes sure those people find the village and know themselves welcome. Lord Ciaran assisted with both the initial location of the village and vetting refugees for suitability. No one is directly saying "We are concerned about Eurusi refugees with strange customs," but it is implied. Lord Alban sees that the new villagers are trained in acting as a militia and in building fortifications. Lady Ouida tries to help the newcomers become a community, and Marquis Orvyn sees that the whole venture is economically efficient. A fine new village arises in Farshaw lands, with an acceptable and acceptably productive populace.
