Song of Freedom in the Mourning Isle

Gianna Whisper, Nightingale of the Bard's College, has made for the Mourning Isle a song. A Freedom song. The bards of the College have spread it far and wide, a song of freeing thralls and embracing change. Lord Rysen helps with the creation of the song and the spreading thereof, setting up performances in venues great and small. Princess Sorrel performs the song, and adds others from her progressive repertoire. Evaristo similarly weaves the song into a larger show, presenting the freeing of thralls as a noble challenge for a hardy people. Prince Victus himself lends his influence to the endeavor, hoping to make the song easier to accept (and decrease any potential tensions).
The trouble is that matters are extremely tense in the Isles right now. The Bard's College comes off well and skillfully, and the song proves unexpectedly popular with some young people of more traditional houses. It certainly does not seem to make tensions worse. But the entire Mourning Isles appears to be holding their breath and waiting for a storm to break.
