Battle in Artshall

The details are terribly unclear, but something has happened in Artshall. Something massive. Rumor has it that a large and well-equipped Abandoned cavalry with war dogs attacked Laurent, Templar, and Valardin forces in the woods. The Compact was victorious, and it seems some scattered Abandoned bent the knee in the aftermath, but the reason for such a focused attack is unclear, and has the Oathlands spooked and speculating. Are Abandoned trying to ruin the crusade before it truly begins? Are they allied with Eurus? Are they trying to take duchies? The rumors spread and contradict, but one thing is clear. A host of names are held responsible for holding off the Abandoned. Jael, Edain, Preston, Cristoph, Corban, Shae, Veronica, Adalyn, Mabelle, Kedehern, Rane, Colette, Khanne, Laric, Norwood, Mia, Felicia, Reigna, Kael, Sorrel, Gwenna, Amari, Alessandro, Helena and Mirk are all spoken of with relief and gratitude.
