Acorn Hill

It has been close to two years since the eradication of House Moore at Acorn Hill and House Volkov at Volkov Woods. For the first time since those terrible events occurred, fresh fallen snow blankets the newly reclaimed lands, spurning the fertile soil to dream of a prosperous spring. The woods which had been silenced are now alive with the gaiety of birdsong. This peaceful winter enjoyed by the citizens of Acorn Hill and Volkov Woods is due in large part to the courageous efforts of Baroness Brigid Moore, Lady Katherine Moore, Marqessa Lora and Marquis Dante DiFidante, Lord Rane Keaton, Lord Aedric Blackshore, Archlector Roran, and Archlector Brigida. The group valiantly risked life and limb some months ago to restore lands razed by shavs all those years ago, supplicating Lagoma and Petrichor and planting seeds of new, fresh growth in their place.
A rare species of tree, Goldenwood, now grows in Acorn Hill and Volkov Woods. The soil on these lands is more fertile than ever before, and has contributed to House Champagne’s successful experimentation with a new type of crop at Acorn Hill, resulting in the propagation of Moore Legumes.
With Sister Juniper’s sacrifice, all remaining lands impacted by the shavs known as House Thornweave have been cleansed, and a period of healing commences at last for all who have suffered so much pain at their hands. To honor her most noble sacrifice, knowing full well the horrors of House Thornweave’s destruction, Lady Brigid Moore plans to commission a statue to be carved in Sister Juniper’s likeness and erected in Acorn Hill to properly honor her.
