New Crops

House Champagne under the leadership of Yasmine has cultivated a number of new crops with the assistance of many houses in the Compact. In the Crownlands at Pearlspire, a type of farmed seaweed called Seliki Greens is being grown. In the Northlands at Clearlake Hold, a type of root vegetable that is grown just outside of the permafrost called Clearlake Roots are developed. In the newly cleared Acorn Hill, the Moore Legumes are cultivated in the particularly fertile land. And in the Mourning Isles at Whitefrost, the sugar-rich Mourning Beets are grown in oft-flooded and stormy lands. The different new crops are a remarkable achievement by Yasmine, Harlex, Ringvald, Edward, Iseulet, Hadrian, and Brigid.
