At first the peerage did not seem to care about the idle gossip of the Lyceum and which Archduchess was Arianna Pravus' favorite as the talk of the white journal she wrote began to make the rounds. The Lyceum on the other hand held their breath to see the response given by the Velenosa family in turn. A ball, one in which was attended by many who dressed as the flowers that Arianna had mocked. There was talk for weeks before the event, the peerage had finally taken notice, which in turn created a large amount of journals and parlor discussions regarding which flower embodied their traits. It is a very Lycene thing to do to manipulate the situation to your favor, the original journal all but forgotten as people still continue to speak of the masquerade.
