Breckendale Vale

House Seliki takes an early start to resettling thralls in their domain, despite the fact snow locks up the valleys and storms batter the coast. Several scouting trips locate a Guildmistress Joscelin Artorius and Count Orrin Seliki agree on building a townsite to rehouse the Mourning Islanders in a wooded valley inland with rich opportunities. Due to the tireless efforts of Lady Peri Seliki, Lord Kaldur Seliki, and Count Orrin, they mobilize the necessary manpower and resources to carve out a new domain from the forest. The initial work to plan out the site relies heavily upon engineers accompanied by scouts, led by Lord Jyri Whitehawk, and military support. Duchess Fianna Crovane supplies invaluable lumber and transportation for building materials to the valley.
Support for helping the thralls is high, but a vocal minority raises its concerns about the patchwork of camps and how secure their communities might be. Rumours of theft and brawls escalate the worries, but a concerted effort by Lord Kaldur locates the instigators before they can incite more violence. Count Orrin addresses rumors and concerns directly while Lady Peri and Joscelin take a direct hand expediting clearing the forest and raising the first buildings. Slowly but surely a town begins to rise in the Breckendale Valley, a sanctuary for relocated thralls becoming a reality instead of a dream.
