Description: Tall, pale, and with unruly reddish-brown hair usually kept in a bun. His figure, athletic and toned from years of skirmishes and ranging, is concealed beneath a brown cloak and battered iron breastplate. Outside of a bow, quiver, and sheathed longsword, he keeps very little belongings on his person. If spotted in a populated city, one might mistake him for being impoverished and uneducated.

Personality: Eccentric until circumstances dictate otherwise, the man can often be heard singing and whistling as he wanders the roads and woods surrounding Acorn Hill. Fiercely loyal to the farmers and merchants who have made Oakhaven their home. Always prepared to lend aid to those in need. Known for having an appetite for fine foods, hard liquors, and cheap women. Superstitious and knowledgeable of regional myths and legends.

Background: Parents, illiterate vassals of House Moore, were simple farmers. His father taught him how to tend fields, ride a horse, notch an arrow, and identify all manner of flora and fauna. A chance encounter with a brigand of bandits while a teenager drove him away from Acorn Hill for a time. He was eventually liberated from captivity by the Timberwolves and, in exchange, served a brief stint as a low-ranking soldier to House Keaton. It was during this time that he mastered the use of a longsword and survived his fair share of frontier skirmishing. Upon being formally dismissed from service, he returned to his childhood home and discovered his parents missing and their property destroyed. Without a claim to the lands, he was forced to seek out other means of securing a meager income -- notably by contracting his skills as a duelist and pathfinder to the highest bidder.
