Action by Vanora

Vanora is focusing effort on increasing her reputation and standing among the people of Stormward, her people at least for the time being. She may be traveling there if I find out how much time that takes IC and if it works to do it, or if not she would be hiring talented actors and actresses among the Whisper House to perform as commoners and sing her praises. She will also send letters to prominent families among the vassal nobles, elegant invitations to come and visit the Marquis and Marquessa in the city of Arx and promises they will be along to visit soon. Are there ellgible single men among the low gentry? If so she'll be mentioning Titania's name, sending one of those old-timey little paintings of her, and implying that Titania would love to meet them. Vanora is not terribly wealthy, but gifts of small trinkets would be sent to families with small children she is aware of, beads for the girls, boats for the boys, she'd remember her gender normative gift giving because it is the Thraxian way. She would also be attempting to make contact with a leader among the Zealots that have begun to populate Stormward, introducing herself as a fellow Disciple of the Gods and expressing her concern about the piety of the people of Arvum and generally attempting to appear someone he'd find enlightened and who 'gets it.'

Result

Vanora's efforts are wildly successful, especially in her outreach to the Orazian Sentinels in Stormward. They understand that she gets it, and they're willing to work with her, their attitude turning quite friendly - perhaps even alarmingly so as they look for guidance and seem more than willing to show her how progressive and dedicated to the Faith she can be. The traditionalists are mollified, and the progressives happily settle into this brave new world without thralls. Sometimes a bit of diplomacy goes a long way.
