Since Silas has brought in new Guards to the IG, it means that there is a need to train some people, especially since many were refugees. Merek Black, as an Officer, will be assisting in training these people in the basics of etiquette of Guardsmen, the basics of combat, and other basic entry level skills that will make sure that they are ready and not overwhelmed by the incoming work in the future weeks. Putting 15 Social Resources, and 15 Military to this, though I know it's not much, to account for the military arming and training and socializing to make sure they all fit in with each other and the current Guard before their arrival.
