Lady Adelphie Harthall
Are my enemies not destroyed when I make them my friends?
Description: Lady Adelphie's lips are very often parted ever so slightly to reveal her front teeth. It's as if she might at all times be chewing daintily on a secret little cube of cheese! Framed by rich brown locks, her looks are otherwise characterized by a strong nigh-masculine jaw that culminates in a gentle chin divet. The steeliness of her muscles is rendered obscure by a healthy layer of softness that prettily moves as she does.
Personality: Adelphie's comrades-at-arms will tell tales of this woman lifting a spiked bludgeon high above her head and watching with ferocity as her enemies are driven before her. Such stories are bookended by narratives of a different flavor: a woman, thoughtful and confident enough to reassure a turned-around child in the marketplace. These parts are not kept separate as some war-hewn paladins need. They exist harmoniously in Adelphie as friends and righteous constants.
Background: A product of Oathlands custom, Adelphie's story does not deviate far from the ideals held high there. While a penchant for trade and commerce might have just as likely pleased her kin, her appetite for combat proved too great to overlook. There are few memories of her youth beyond the backdrop of the training yards or dining hall, fueling up to get right back out there.
Amidst troubles associated with the Great Road, the Adelphie crossed paths with some Knights of Solace and felt compelled by duty and faith to help them in their task. This is how she found herself in Arx, having chaperoned a group of travelers to safety. Well, let's be honest... relative safety.
