Niro
We cannot live without the wind, the sea, the earth - but it's only from the earth that we get the means to protect ourselves. The steel in your hand can sometimes be the only thing protecting you, not law, nor family. Just that.

Description:
Built of layers of wiry muscle, Niro immediately brings to mind images of 'Shav'. His ears are pierced - with some pierced holes around the upper lobes visible yet left usually empty unless some event calls for it. His hair is pitch black and shoulder length, with at least usually some attempt to bring it into order and keep it behind his ears and out of his face. His face itself is bearded, unkempt by style, but kept clean by hygenic standards - doing its best to hide the visible black markings of tattoo's that inch their way down beneath the beard and down his neck, hidden by whatever clothing he is normally wearing.
Personality: Introspective, but exhuberant. Swinging between moments of deep thought and moments of sudden, even brash action when the time comes for it. Filled with an undying love for the riddles that metal hold, with a childlike sense of wonder when watching other crafters work their arts - happy to simply 'be', uncaring for the past and doing his best to simply let the future come to him, with a joie de vivre for all things in life: good or bad. Just as long as they happen.
Background:
Born outside of the protection of the Crown and the City, Niro does not speak often of the life out there - other than it was harsh and short for many, and that he considers himself one of the luckier ones. He received knowledge of the art of Smithing, and it was with that knowledge that he kept himself alive, by being useful. His escape from that life is one that he counts as a blessing, and one of the new Prodigals, he seeks to establish himself in a land of relative peace and freedom.
