Description: This young woman is of decidedly feminine appearance, with curves in all the right places, and lustrous blonde hair falling about her shoulders. Her pale skin is remarkably smooth and soft. Her eyes are a deep emerald green, and her attractive face usually bears some subtle touches of makeup.
Her clothing is not of the richest or finest quality, but usually form-fitting and chosen with an eye for style and elegance.
Personality: Curious and passionate, though plagued by the occasional moment of uncertainty.
Background: Silana grew up in Arx, indeed she has rarely ever been outside the city. Her father is an apothecary and alchemist of some skill, mostly making tinctures and salves to sell to physicians. From an early age, the curious girl would take an interest in her father's trade, and he taught her many things, considering it an idle indulgence. When she came of age, she became engaged to a merchant's son, much to the pleasure of her parents. But when her fiance discovered that she had had a brief but passionate affair with a stable boy, he cancelled the engagement forthwith. Her aprents were deeply angry, and she in turn exchanged some heated words with them. In the end, she left her parent' home, taking little with her but some money that her father had given her out of last minute pity.
The alchemical knowledge she had gleaned from her father now turned out to serve her well. She began creating makeup and other cosmetic products, as well as herbal tonics supposedly meant to help men and women alike to maintain a healthy and beautiful body. She was fortunate enough to find a few wealthy patrons, enough to establish herself as an independent businesswoman.
