At Calypso's request, Eirene and the Physicians Guild (Ira, Harmon, Lianne, Benjamin, etc) are to study the Famori skull. Due to size, they will carefully chip off small pieces to test away from the skull so the main bulk remains intact and unharmed. The usual tests- acid, holy water, holy fire, exposure to black stone... Eirene will be looking out for the black Bringer mold/ooze to ensure it's not tainted. Provided it's clean, the skull will be given back to Calypso.
Result
The skull of the Formorian Bringer of Silence is remarkable in that it nearly resists everything. Fire doesn't scorch it, holy water has no effect, it is only through a herculean effort with alaricite weapons that Eirene is able to get slivers of bone chips from it, finger sized chips that do melt from holy water when separated from the skull. But the skull itself seems nearly impervious to everything, impossibly durable.
